Aww dangit, another Pokéball. Trainers really ought to work on their throwing skills so that their balls didn't constantly end up in the bottom of the sea. Andrea had no such issue. Her balls always hit the mark, except that one time when they didn't, but we don't talk about that.

The scientist’s next inquiry was certainly unexpected. The eccentric cosplayer thought loudly. “Hmm, the legal drinking age in Hoenn is 18 and I’m 20, so yeah, that makes me old enough.” She surmised. “W-wait, how old did you think I am?!” She added, puffing out her cheeks in mild anger.

Had Lulu thought she was a minor? With THOSE assets?!

Between MC Pon’s bars, Crash’s breakdancing, and Sandy’s melodic wing vibrations, the crowd got the encore they desired and then some! Soon, the girlies were escorted off the stage in order for the next group to make their way in, given a warm sendoff by the crowd.

Once backstage, Andrea hugged both of her friends, giving each a kiss on the cheek. “That was AMAZING! I’m shivering all over!” She giddily declared. “Your singing voice is so cute, Genny! And Shalin, you looked so pretty in your glowing Sygna Suit!”

"Another blue rock?!" No, Andrea, that's a Clamperl. We've been over this.

Slight tangent, but how come the League offered a reward for turning those things in? They were literally rewarding trainers for displacing Pokémon from their natural habitat. That's kinda messed up if you think about it.

Maybe it was another of FERNANDO SILPH's schemes to fuel the war effort.

Meatloaf had gotten hurt, but it was nothing he couldn’t handle. As they arrived at their destination, the dragon rider witnessed in shock and horror one of their former wardens scuffling with Hideo Kino and a girl she didn’t recognize. Somehow, Okidogi had come back.

“HEY! REMEMBER US?” The draconic cosplayer shouted at the top of her lungs. Hopefully she could divert the evil dog’s attention from its current targets, especially with their trump card…

Ogerpon fished a familiar mask from her leafy garment. Wearing that Teal Mask, she stared back at the mutt through the terrifying visage of an ogre, almost as if mocking him.

“You have failed, Okidogi!” Andrea voiced what the masked Oni was already saying with silence. “The masks you stole can be remade! The people you imprisoned are now free! The weakling, dummy, and ugly wards are no more! You’ve failed once… and you’ll fail again!”

As a glowing Tera Orb was hurled into the air in slow motion, Pon’s heart bristled with memories of all the friends she had made in the walls of that infernal prison. Total strangers like Johanna Joy and Thea Naito who had risked their lives for her sake. Others like Naomi Sato and Eris Halla who accepted her for who she was.

She thought about the girlygang, the love shown to her by DESIREE BLOOMS, Genevieve Cromwell and the charming Gordo, Yuina Higashi and Daikenki, Elise Calcifet and Charles, Shalin Nariya and Sandy, and many more.

Lastly, she thought of Chomper and how his unjust death could not undo all the good he had spread while alive. Though their time together had been short, she would honor his memory.

Vegetation started to grow on the charred battleground that the Oni walked--an inversion of Elisabeth Fiorelli’s powers, which could only wilt and destroy--Tera Crystals slowly manifesting Ogerpon’s wish of a verdant utopia where her kin could live in peace.

Some called it Arcadia, some called it Eden, others yet called it Avalon. She called it by another name: Onigashima.

With speed that far exceeded normal parameters thanks to her Embodied Aspect, the ogress lunged at Okidogi, weaving through its rocky bombardment with nimble steps, before leveling her powered-up Ivy Cudgel on the canine retainer’s head.

Andrea's eyes had adjusted well enough to the dimness of the night to see her family's ranch in the far-off distance. There was one last obstacle standing in the way, namely a wild Krokorok.

This crocodile could not be Intimidated, for it had moxie. It also had swagger. Now Meatloaf was hurting himself in confusion. The reptilian ruffian then leered and honed its claws, prepping for an attack that never came.

"Does it have no damage-dealing moves?" The PokéManiac pondered with a puzzled expression. After snapping out of it, Meatloaf struck the delinquent lizard with a powerful Return, nearly knocking it out.

"Pokéball, go!" The trainer of dragons took it upon herself to teach that sand gator some REAL moves.

While getting battered by the roaring sandstorm, and through the tumult of war, Andrea made out a familiar voice. There was only one person she knew who addressed her on a last-name basis. “B-Baki?! Is that you?!” A Nihilego’s presence all but confirmed that it was indeed Hyakkaryōran Tsubaki.

The draconic cosplayer clenched her Hydreigon-shaped fists. “How? How can I save Hoenn… when I can’t even save those I love?” She lamented, her bloodstained Sygna Suit being a grim testament to her failure as a trainer.

But there was not enough time to dwell on that. Ogerpon caught a familiar scent in the air, just like it had during the battle against Kouji Matsubara. That scent sent the Oni into a frenzy.

“Grrrrr! Pon!”

Its seething anger was enough to clue its caretaker in, her despondency replaced with sheer determination. “I’ll leave Regirock to you! I know you and Manju can handle it!” The dragon-costumed woman told Tsubaki. “We’ve got another battle to fight. They have returned…”

Meatloaf was sent back out, while Barron was sent back in. Andrea climbed onto her trusty Salamence’s back with Ogerpon clinging to her shoulder. “Meatloaf, Fly in the direction Pon tells you!”

With a keen nose that rivaled the best of hounds, the ogress directed the dragon to the closest source, located near the city’s center. The winged serpent took flight, getting pelted by rocky debris and sandstorm particles on its way there.

Nearby, a wild Pawniard practiced its cutting technique on a bunch of small shrubs. It would be rude to interrupt its training regimen.

"We're almost there, Meatloaf. Let's keep going." The girl whispered to her draconic bodyguard.

Ah, form changing. Andrea wished she could form change into a Pokémon, but sadly, the item did not work on humans. She had half a mind to throw it away like the useless PC filler it was, but she didn't wanna pollute the ocean like so many others had apparently done.

The young woman took another dive, hoping to find something more interesting this time.

A wild Sableye tried to sneak up on the girl all shadowily, but was intercepted by Meatloaf, who Intimidated the little prankster of a ghost with his imposing presence.

The gem-eyed gremlin put its hands up in surrender, as if saying 'Relax, bro, it was just a prank', before running away in fear.
