Klaus is a whirlwind of energy, a certain manic and twitchy aura practically radiating off his frame as he weaves through the crowd; he hates getting sent on jobs to steal, they're not nearly as exciting as playing tag with the coast guard. Plus, if he's caught it's much harder to dispose of the evidence post-haste.

Vibrating with unspent energy he makes his way down the beach, his magenta-pink gaze occasionally casting over his shoulder to see if the police have begun to swarm the beaches - he really needs to get a pokemon with teleport. Klaus pulls up suddenly as a body slams into the sand just in front of him. He blinks once, his heart-shaped glasses tipped up to relieve the rosy hue they cast upon Beau to stare at the man a touch incredulously.

Of course it's Beau.

"Uh. Hey," he deadpans, a faint heat touching his cheeks at the memory of his last encounter with Beau. Hopefully the bastard won't turn out his pockets again. The laptop and money were easy enough to explain. The benzos would be a bit trickier. Klaus hesitates for a moment before offering his hand to help Beau up.

He wrinkles his nose at the sight of the sand covering one side of Beau's figure, only just refraining from dusting it off - best not to put his hands all over the taller man. Instead, he rearranges his satchel on his hip, his weight shifting between his feet.

Klaus didn't normally break into an expensive condo for the sole purpose of stealing someone's laptop, but orders had been orders and whatever was on its discs was none of his business as far as he was concerned; the wad of cash, and what he was fairly confident was a street-bought bag of benzos, had merely been an added bonus for his troubles.

Adjusting his backpack, the young man slips out the back door and into the sparse garden behind. He pauses all of a sudden, head cocking to the side as what sounds like the front door opening registers. Eyes widening, Klaus hops the fence as quickly as he can, the wig he's wearing torn off and shoved into the bag to be replaced by a somewhat rumpled straw hat. A large pair of heart-shaped sunglasses tinted pink is then donned to shade his eyes for good measure.

Steadying his breathing despite the adrenaline now coursing through his veins, the makes a beeline towards the nearby beach as a shout rises from the house - the owner realising the theft no doubt. Picking up his pace, he slings the backpack off his back and adjusts the straps to turn it into a satchel, his shirt removed and shoved inside. Klaus grits his teeth as he catches what distinctly sounds like "Call the police," and his shaded gaze spills over the beach goers as he tries to find a better way to blend into the crowd.

A sharp, white-hot spike of embarrassment lances through Klaus as he's caught and called out for his 'shiftiness'. Clenching his jaw shut, eyes wide, he looks abruptly away from Beau, his arms crossing over his chest in a decidedly useless attempt at self-soothing. He wants to die.

His somewhat ragged breathing audible, hands shaking despite the fists he's clenched them into, Klaus does not look at Beau again until his own pokeballs are offered. Not immediately taking them, Klaus chances a small glances towards Beau's face - upon finding the other man as steadily avoiding his gaze as he is, he finally unfolds his arms and takes back his pokeballs with shaking hands.

"Yeah whatever. Fine," Klaus wheezes out softly. He'll show the dumb idiot the exit and just go home. Today was a resounding wash at this point. He stoops to retrieve his Litwick.

Pointedly not looking Beau in the eyes, Klaus pushes past the man, giving Beau's elbow a light tug to follow after him, and storms down the rickety hallways. Turning a corner reveals a Cursola blocking the path. Lustig swiftly attacks with a Curse and Night Shade without directives, and Klaus throws a pokeball shortly thereafter.

"This way." His voice is tight, face and neck still a brilliant scarlet as he leads the way to the exit.

Shuffling along none too elegantly, Klaus enters a small clearing where someone was working, but seems to have abandoned their work; in the centre is a smouldering fire threatening to spill out from the confines of the stones surrounding it. Humming a soft noise, his brow furrowed, he jumps all of a sudden at the sound of another voice.

Eyes wide with surprise, hand now on his rapidly beating chest, Klaus looks over his shoulder to spy Elisabeth. "Stupidity," Klaus answers with a tired slur. Exhaling audibly, he shifts his hand to rub at the shadows bruising under his eyes, a half-smile offered the woman.

"The hell are you doing out here," he asks in turn. With that spoken he turns back to peer at the abandoned setup, his tired brain unable to make any of the obvious connections with the beehive hanging nearby.

Klaus had put up a brave face of being polite to his superior, Martín del Mar, though now that he was alone again after his delivery less than flattering thoughts were swimming through his mind; the man could have at least warned him the Spectrier was going to be kicked up into a gallop as opposed to something more manageable like a damn trot.

Hands shoved in his pockets, his Dhelmise floating carefree at his side, Klaus mutters absently as he stalks back through the Petalburg woods. Forgoing the trail this time, he follows a deer-trail with little thought until he is well and truly deep into the woods. Only realizing he has gotten off course so badly by the darkening of the forest, Klaus pulls up short.

Opening his mouth and then promptly closing it, his brow furrows as he glances around the gloomy underbrush, a low noise sounding in the back of his throat. Glancing askance to his Dhelmise, he confides after a moment, "I think I fucked up." A low wail sounds from Hansel in turn, causing Klaus to snort. "Thanks."

The faint scent of smoke and buzzing soon grabs his attention, his head canting in the direction of the noise and smell. lips pursing, and curiosity getting the better of him, he changes direction to investigate
