The Haunter wanted to play with the Mega Aggron. This was clear through its cocky swaggering movements and its wide smile as it fired off its attack.

Instead of watching whether its attack hit or not, it instead was about to make some mildly rude gestures with its floating hands when it just in the nick of time noticed a blast of light fired at him, rainbow sparkles falling in its wake. The Haunter was quick to dance out of the way.

A sigh of relief escaped the ghost-type as it exaggeratedly wiped away none existent sweat.

Meanwhile, Johanna watched as the Mega evolution dispersed. “Yeah, I definitely see what you mean,” Johanna replied. The power of the Mega Aggron had been a foe that none of the Pokémon on her team would’ve been able to compete with save for Haunter whose advantage lay simply in being out of rich.

But had this been a serious fight in an enclosed space… The thought was frightening. She was glad that Isaac was on her side. “And now that I’ve seen the power of a Mega Pokémon, however short-lived it might be, I think I definitely need to find some way to get one of my own.” Johanna commented.

And while she spoke, the Haunted quietly glided down to her side, wondering if their battle would continue or if this was it?

So many people here, an overwhelming amount of voices and opinions. Had she not vowed to herself to no longer be a coward, she would’ve snuck out at the earliest convenience. But she stayed, if only to hear the words of their esteemed leader.

Mild shock appeared on her face as he spoke of trusting the League Plan. She had for some reason or another expected him to be more radical. But perhaps that was merely a misguided notion she had picked up along the way.

And then it came. The grand goal, the mission to aim for. Her shock faded into obscurity. As the Rocket boss took the villainous role fittingly. Only for him to once more go against expectations by democratically electing their next siege target.

A sigh escaped her as this rollercoaster just kept on going. She took a moment to gather herself then summoned her Haunter. “Retnauh, go over there.” She pointed towards the Petalburg City & Woods grunt. She had no basis for this choice, she was just interacting with the choices given to her, and praying she was doing the right thing.

The Haunter lazily floated over there, levitating just above the poor grunt. Its tongue dangling back and forth dangerously close to the face of the poor unfortunate person, with each back and forth it came closer and closer. Clearly, the Haunter was teasing the Grunt.

As for the matter of Littleroot town. She decided not to voice her concerns. If it meant that the ambitious eyes of Team Rocket would stay away from Ever Grande City, where her family lived, then she could turn a blind eye to the pain of Littleroot Town.

Johanna nodded in agreement. Pre-produced materials were definitely rare, especially so for someone like Johanna who had barely dealt with any sort of manual labor throughout her life up until her Rocket career began. Though she noticed even Megan seemed lost in thought for a brief moment. But then she moved on to showing what seemed like a reference sheet of some sort.

Again Johanna gave a nod before she scooted to the side allowing her Claydol to have a look. Its eyes fixated on the reference sheet for a moment, then gave what amounted to a nod from it before it began to float into the mine, indifferent to whatever continued conversation the two women might wish to have.

“Oh yeah, I did. And I even won the badge somehow.” Though she had to admit she remembered little of the battle save for the Volcarona she and her, at the time, Wartortle faced. “But I haven’t gotten around to challenging any more Gyms, their schedules always seem to be full, they really ought to open more gyms.” An inaudible sigh escaped her.

“How about you?” She turned the question right back at Megan, though for a moment she looked towards her Claydol who was going on ahead. Figuring that they could talk while they moved, she would begin to take steps toward the Mine, figuring that Megan would follow.

Megan’s sales pitch had definitely cheered her quite a bit. But perhaps that was more on Megan than the pitch itself. Especially so as Megan ushered her forth towards the old mining entrance with a hearty pat on her back.

“Ah yes, you are definitely right about that.” She turned her gaze to the Claydol.

The Claydol looked back at her. Its facial expression betrays no emotions, save for the occasional blinking of its eyes. After a moment of what might have been deliberation it nodded.

Johanna returned her attention to Megan, as the woman began explaining their task here. She shrugged at the question. “I haven’t, so I’ll be relying on you to tell me what’s a metal and what isn’t.” Johanna grabbed the nearest bucket and said with a smile upon her list. “So, anything else besides Iron, Copper, and Tin?”

The Haunter looked disappointed. The potential for a delicious dreamy meal is squished by Isaac. It would have to pay him back for that. Alas, not now! For now, they did battle.

“Retnauh keep out of its reach!” Johanna commanded. Knowing full well how cocky the ghost was.

The Haunter reluctantly rose higher into the air. Keeping it far out of reach of the IRON HEAD attack aimed at it. But the expression on its face clearly showed dislike for this cause of action. Alas, it would not go against a direct order. From high in the air, the Haunter gathered Ghost-type energies, forming them into a SHADOW BALL which it would throw towards the Mega Aggron.

Oh fuck, oh shit, oh bloody *insert inaudible curses*

Johanna had somehow gotten lost. Her running about, while a great way to get away from the hunter, had clearly worked against her. She heard a loud boom in the distance and knew the hunter was hunting. Her heart beat faster, her blood flowed through her veins like a Rapidash in a sprint.

She finally found her bearing and hurried to the next Generator. But by the time she found herself at a generator, @bishop was already busy working on it.

Though she didn’t mean to be, she found herself disappointed that it was Cillian Quinn that had been caught. Alas, here she found herself standing, gazing upon Bishop as her lungs heaved for air, and the sweat flowing like a waterfall.

Megan bounced off of the stone. It pleased Johanna to see that at least something stayed the same in this region. For all that she had been through, having the rock of Megan’s bubbliness to lean on was reassuring. The sound of her voice eased what tension had been building in Johanna for a while, a sense of relaxation came upon her as she now stood before Megan.

Before she could even ask what brought Megan out here. The glassed woman began to speak. Almost as if giving a recap combined with a mission briefing. Johanna was taken by surprise, which would be obvious from the look in her eyes.

But then Megan burst into laughter, and Johanna found herself chuckling as well. “Mining? Really? Well, I haven’t tried to do real mining before, but sure!”

Meanwhile, the Claydol levitated behind her, idly gazing upon Megan as it muttered quiet Claydol sounds.

Shiinotic celebrated the successful hit of SLEEP POWDER, and to some extent so did Kevin the Snorlax. As smiles had spread upon both their lips.

Even Johanna’s attitude seemed to brighten for a moment. This seemed manageable.

But Isaac had been holding back. This he announced just as bright infinite Energy spilled from a gem. The Aggron changed shape. She was almost enamored by the display.

Kevin could feel the power but figured the difference wouldn’t be that big. And Shiinotic thought himself safe behind the blubbery wall. Both were woefully wrong. The Aggron charged into Kevin, Kevin tried to stand against it with all its might. But when the force met with his blubber, it sent him flying backward faster than he had ever done before. Like a rock skidding on water, alas here his hide felt only the rough caress of sand.

Johanna had to quickly jump out of the way of the almost flying Snorlax. Unfortunately, Shiinotic was not that lucky. He hadn’t the time and so was propelled backward alongside the Snorlax, quickly left behind after having been pressed into the ground.

The Shiinotic was out cold. Johanna quickly retrieved that one into its Pokéball, before she ran over to check up on Kevin. “Kevin, Kevin, are you all right?” She quickly reached his side. Gentle hands placed upon his side with worry.

A low grumbling was all she heard from the Snorlax. “You did well, Kevin. Rest now.” She retrieved him into his Pokéball.

That Aggron is strong. But it does seem to only use Physical attacks. Johanna thought, as her eyes looked at the Mega Aggron. There was but one Pokémon that could potentially stand against such a beast.

She retrieved her third Pokémon for this ‘match’ from the Pokéball a ghostly form manifested. Its wide grin aimed straight at the menacing steel beast. A tongue Stretched out in the Aggron’s direction. It waggled back and forth very hypnotically, if it caught the Aggron’s attention then perhaps it would fall prey to the Ghost’s HYPNOSIS.

Johanna had made her way to this gathering of Rockets. From Grunts all the way up to the big headpiece himself. Of course, being a grunt she was gathered amidst a group of her fellow sacrificial pawns somewhere on the outskirts of the gathering.

Clad in generic off-brand black clothes, she was but a simple blip on the radar of anyone who would be looking out upon her part of the gathering. Well, perhaps save for her bright blue hair which stood in stark contrast to most.

And so when they were all asked about their opinions of The League and their plans. She stood there in silence. While everyone seemed ready to proclaim their disdain for both. She just gave a mild. “I don’t trust The League nor do I like their plan, but unless we got something better, then messing with it might not be wise.” and a downturned thumb. Barely noticeable by those near her, and clearly even less so further up the line.

Mild in comparison to the reaction of the other, but she felt that vilifying every single member of The League if not publicly then at least in their minds, would provide them a detrimental shackle of preconception that would only hinder their work later down the line.

Teleportation was a fine art. One Johanna hadn’t quite mastered yet. Nevertheless, her Claydol had brought her to the Fiery Path, though from there she had to spend a considerable amount of time orienting herself.

But she managed somehow, and with the coordinates offered by Megan, she found her way to their meeting location.

And so she would appear walking towards Megan. Clad in a more modest attire of simple jeans and a black shirt, with a similarly colored jacket, rather than her usual punk-rock styled clothing which fit the summer weather better. Behind her, the Claydol levitated along. As she neared she would send Megan a wave and an enthusiastic “Hi!”

She had half expected a wild Pokémon to be the offender, and so when she turned to look in anger she was caught by surprise when what she instead saw was a Chimchar tucked underneath the arm of a worried-looking woman.

Mankey-eyes turned to deerling eyes, as the woman’s voice reached her ears. “It’s… It’s all right.” She stuttered. Suddenly she was very aware of what she had just been about to do. Cursing out a poor unfortunate Chimchar, even if it didn’t seem to be regretting what it did.

“Oh, I mean, you don’t have to,” Johanna replied. “I should’ve been more aware of my surroundings.” She tried to redirect some of the blame, if for no other reason than to spare Chimchar some punishment.

While Johanna was stammering and stuttering her way through a conversation. The Happiny was busy wiping itself clean of all the Virgin Pina Colada before it would begin to clean up the mess on the ground like the dutiful servant it was.

The ASTONISH was successful. But The Shiinotic was not about to let go of such a good vantage point. But the Aggron did not wish for their continued Mushroom-to-steel contact. Shiinotic was quickly swept off. Only to then see as a rather powerful looking MYSTICAL FIRE came hurtling towards him. The Shiinotic audible made the mushroom variant of “UH OH.”

Only to be saved by the sudden appearance of Kevin’s large Snorlax frame in front of him. The fire licked his body with the loving caress of what felt like the hot Slateport Beach Summer, only dialed up to eleven. But though it pained him greatly Kevin did not show more than a mild grimace.

But Shiinotic was not about to let Kevin’s sacrifice be in vain. The moment His feet touched the ground, he gathered his bearings and peeked out from behind the Snorlax. Quickly a little ball of SLEEP POWDER formed in his hand, which he threw at the dangerous fire horse.
