[break][break]she appeals through her earpiece, hand to ear to muffle the sounds of nearby attacks, her voice static as it comes through other league officials' communicators. it's truly meant for illeana reyes and Melody Miro, but she has neither the time nor the opportunity to flip through communication channels to address them individually.[break][break]"you too." [break][break]"follow them down."[break][break]she holds the swablu close to her as the steel-type bird begins its descent in a wide, easy spiral toward the ground. the foliage trembles as the corviknight touches down in a clearing, its wings kicking up a flurry with its last, furious flaps. then, with another huff, it lowers itself so annalise can slide off slick metal and onto the grass. [break][break]"this should be it. go ahead, swablu — "[break][break]she holds her arms out. the swablu leaps from the perch of her palms and weakly flaps to the tree branches. it settles among the leaves, nestling itself close to the tree trunk.
