the noise attracts another, less pleasant visitor to their edge of the mire. a little golden bird swoops down, bravely mussing annalise's hair before flapping off out of range of any kneejerk swatting she could've done. [break][break]gummy bear jumps up and down on waterlogged ground with his arms spread wide, splattering droplets onto dewy grass around him. it attracts the rookidee to dive at him, but the outcome is much worse: the teddiursa clamps his furry arms around the wildly-flapping flying-type and gives its face a lick.[break][break]
it must've been relieved when she threw a warden ball at it and ended its slightly-damp misery. [break][break]"good job, gummy!"[break][break]

woobat appears, flitting around them curiously. it's a thankful distraction for gummy bear, who stops trying to put inedible flora and rocks in his mouth. a palmful of pebbles trickle absentmindedly from his paw as he goes wide-eyed, head swiveling to follow the woobat's dizzying flight patterns. [break][break]the two play, then annalise eventually catches the woobat off guard with a safari ball to the back. [break][break]
