Ah. The arrogant type. Genny had seen it before, but when she rolls her eyes in time with the Kirlia, the redhead continues to do her job while the door between her and the younger Trainer continues to open via metal-eating.[break][break]

While Keanu and the Kirlia seem to work together nice enough, the DISARMING VOICE and THUNDER WAVE providing a powerful combo, it's when the door opens, and Rex beams at Genny, that the redhead acts without thinking.[break][break]

WHAAAAAAAAAAM![break][break]

The CRABHAMMER collides into the floor, where Genny had tackled into Rex to get him out of the water. In a split second after getting Rex away from the powerful hammer, Genny turns her head.[break][break]

"Cover me, Keanu! Everything you got!"[break][break]

Keanu engulfs in lightning, and speeds forth, moving to faint the Crawdaunt in one strike: VOLT TACKLE. The Crawdaunt didn't even stand a chance, even Terastillized, Keanu overpowered it with electrical Pikapower. As soon as Keanu lands, the Crawdaunt does too. On their face.[break][break]

Genny turns down towards Rex. "You okay?" She was on top of him, basically keeping him from getting hit again. Without self-awareness, she smiles down to him. "Elite Ranger Cromwell, at your service. And that-"[break][break]

The door falls open, as Balmung appears in the former frame, flexing its tiny mercury body.[break][break]

"-is our escape."

Just behind Rex, the locked door would quickly begin dissolving, as a grayish mercury-like metal began to chew away at the door itself. With each chomp away, it gave Genny a hole to look through. The signal for additional support have been followed to a T, and Genny, now able to see the young Trainer inside, responded with a smile.[break][break]

"I got you! Go, Keanu!" The little Pikachu hopped through the hole, the Pikachu yelling out with the threat to electrocute, confidence in the little sunglasses-wearing mouse.[break][break]

Genny was glad she had her vacation. The workaholic brain wasn't letting her rest, and Sea Mauville was no different. In fact, when freya morningstar gives her speech to show resilience in these trying times, and ollie morales with his speech to stick together, it lifted her mood entirely. Two capable people in the League, that she could trust still.[break][break]

Her team had been a small group of five; three Water types, Keanu, and the Meltan that continued to make a bigger hole still, eating away.[break][break]

"Thunder Wave, Keanu! Lock the Crawdaunts down!" Without a second's delay, the Pikachu hops onto his tail, throwing out a shaka with his tiny hands, and releases a wave of electricity, to keep them at bay.

And then Whiskers lands. And Genny's laughter got louder after a quick, not-terrified nor panicked scream, as she resurfaces, her laughter gets louder, as she laughs from nearby, Blue and Keanu, now resurfacing themselves, Keanu laughing with Genny, while Blue finally lets loose. As Genny wipes her eyes, and sees her friend, she can't help but grin wider.[break][break]

Andrea truly was just amazing. The kiss to Whiskers is all too adorable, as she swims closer towards the Gyarados. If the Gyarados allowed it, they'd receive another kiss to the opposite cheek. "That's one from me too." Blue and Keanu merely attach to Genny's sides, like floatation devices.[break][break]

She turns to Andrea.[break][break]

"I'm glad we came."[break][break]

Genny would likely never lose her trust in Andrea now. The Dragoness had a friend for life.

That makes sense! Being that the Brass Tower was burned in a fire years upon years ago, Ghost Types probably flocked there, which lends to the profession. Beaming to her friend, she's glad someone capable can work with Ghosts. It wasn't Genny's 'zone of expertise'.[break][break]

When the Totodile came out, Dandy would chime out, bouncing on the air, and next to the gator. She's happy to be joined by the little gator.[break][break]

Ah. Just like Watson. Genny can't help but give Vivian an eye. Maybe she should look into getting a Totodile for herself? So cute... it'd almost certainly match Andrea Vaneau's Fuecoco.[break][break]

Another couple down the slide, and Genny cranes her head to the mention of Elise's boyfriend. "A royal knight?!" She cups her cheeks in her hands. That's so romantic! "He came that far for you?" She has to ask first, but of course, Rocket rears its ugly head. And turning back forward to the last remaining group before their turn comes.[break][break]

"Being there for you is important. But it works both ways," Genny chimes, a hand placed on Elise's shoulder. "Just be there for him. Greet him with open arms, and just talk." Listening was part of relationships as much as communicating. It was half the tango. And Elise probably knew it too.

All Genny can do is try and enjoy it now. Shalin does well to ease her concerns. "That's a relief. I don't think I can do another high-octave one," she wipes the beads of sweat from her forehead, and begins moving, and though she's keeping tabs on her track, she glances out of the corner of her eye...[break][break]

Was... Shalin looking? Her feet were on the opposite sides. She's nuts! she thinks to herself, but she grins to her friend, as she bounces around herself.[break][break]

This track is a lot more forgiving than the last. Her movements bounce around and to-and-fro. She's starting to get it! She starts actually hitting keys closer to the beat, realizing something in the midst of every movement of her feet.[break][break]

She likes games like this.

Beachboy's mouth goes agape, as he sees Jalapeño approach. And in that majestic crown, BB bows towards the Fuecoco, and lets his shell be shown off, while Pon, Gordo, Speedy, and Dandy enjoy some bonding.[break][break]

As the bounce throws them into the skies, Genny's eyes widen. A moment of trauma from the past harms her, as she recalls the skies, the Rockets that she's fought here, namely one she feared (jayden cross) most of all. She shakes, shivering much more than she ever thought she would. She shouldn't be afraid of the sky, but it was there she lost Pet Shop. How she survived was anyone's guess.[break][break]

Andrea's hand was like serenity. Genny's heart stopped beating erratically, and calmed as she looked to her taller friend, the dragon maiden readying herself, as she asked if Genny trusted her. Blue wasn't ready, and Keanu just watched on.[break][break]

"Absol-"[break][break]

Jump. "-UTELYYYYYYY!" She tumbles hearing Andrea call out for a cannonball, and Genny feels the world slow down. Her smile wide, she curls into a cannonball with her friend.[break][break]

"CANNONBAAAAAAAALL!"[break][break]

Splash.[break][break]

The moment Genny breaks the surface, Blue also having jumped, the redhead begins to laugh, giggling higher than before.[break][break]

Nothing to fear. No need for revenge. This was serenity.

Neither League nor Rocket could stop either of them. Yuina shared that resolve, and it only does well to embolden Genny's heart. She beams to Yuina. And when her hand moves towards Daikenki, the way he seems to hold his own paw, and instead of petting the Samurott, she grabs the paw. A sign of respect given, as petting would surely have the Samurott huff.[break][break]

Yuina's words etch to her mind, and Genny wastes no time in responding. "I hope it is, Yui," she beams magnificently towards her friend, and shakes the otter's paw.[break][break]

"Home is where the heart is."[break][break]

It's a saying her mom used to say. Gone from Galar, into Alola. And now her, gone from Alola to Hoenn, her friends she's made here, her love she's found here, her ambitions she's forged here. Home was where her heart was.[break][break]

BB merely rolls forward, rubbing his face towards Daikenki's as he rolls with the kite string in his gooey hands, letting more of the kite go.[break][break]

Genny gets up finally, letting her kite go higher, and eyes towards the horizon.[break][break]

"No matter where your home is, I hope I can be a part of it," she closes her eyes, and breathes it all in.
