It's a little late to the party, but Genny arrives all the same, swimsuit in gear. Racing out into the summer with her Totodile, Crash, the duo would begin their first leap in.[break][break]

"Alright, Crash. Let's get to cleaning up the ocean!" The Totodile throws a thumbs-up best he can, and the duo are under the water.[break][break]

It's days before the fated war truly ramped up, before the battle at Mossdeep, Sootopolis, and Petalburg, when the concert came at the resort. It was one more outing, one more day they could relax.[break][break]

Genny loved her friends. So much so, that when Andrea had asked her to go to sing, Genny said yes without a second thought. When Shalin joined too, they were a trio![break][break]

Backstage now though... Andrea seemed shaken, a little nervous, and Genny moves her hand onto Andrea's. "We can do it, Andrea," she calmly spoke, a tilt of her head to the side with a beam for her taller friend.[break][break]

"We're going to do great!"[break][break]

She's just hopefully she can keep the other girlies calm. Their song would be an odd choice, but one Genny would love to let loose. Only one person has heard her sing, ever.[break][break]

Once, on the island routes of Dewford. A sheriff who played a matching melody.

That's the spirit! Gordo's shades drop towards the bridge of his snoot, and as he watches the Oni roll too, the duo began to speed around. And joining them in the water now, the speedy little Shellos, Speedy, literally trying to tuck and roll, only to realize his gelantanous form did not bend like that... and began bobbing his head towards the duo, while Dandy merely bounces above them.[break][break]

Genny can't help but giggle, a hand towards her lips as she laughs. It's not meant in a condescending way, it's meant endearing. "Oh no, not like-" But the misunderstanding has Andrea give her an impish smile, and Genny realizes a few moments later that perhaps going along with it gave the wrong impression. When offered a hand up onto Whiskers' back, Beachboy watched as Genny, now with Blue on one shoulder, and Keanu on the other, took Andrea's hand, a sheepish look given to her taller redhead friend.[break][break]

"What did you have in mind?" Genny asks, pulling herself up onto the red Gyarados, petting the scaled water dragon with a hand.[break][break]

Keanu and Blue stared to each other. Concern from the Mudkip, curiosity from the Pikachu. What did the Dragoness have planned in that head of hers?

Genevieve Cromwell was not exactly adept in rhythm games. In fact, the best she could say she could do was somehow hit close to the beat. But this was a lot different than just cardio. It was all about timing, and reading at a breakneck speed, and she not ever having done a rhythm game like this... to say by the first interlude she had a low score was an understatement. Seeing Shalin get the GREAT! has her laugh.[break][break]

Looks like the second match was Shalin's after all.[break][break]

No matter how fast Genny wanted to move, the second half was definitely even more strenuous, and by the results, Genny leaned against the back-railing, and breathed heavy. Shalin was a prodigy at this kind of thing.[break][break]

"Wow," Genny wipes the beads of sweat from her forehead, as she calls out. "Hah. When you do, I'll have to watch. Didn't realize how hard this was." She pats both of her cheeks, as she looks to Shalin with a smile. "I'll get it eventually!"[break][break]

When Shalin offered to choose a song, and the massive library, there was definitely some choice paralysis at play. There was just too many. Part of her liked certain songs from a few moments, but...[break][break]

How could she just decide? She hits one at random. CONDOR, and turns to Shalin for confirmation.[break][break]

"This one okay?"

Elise would be able to take it, and seeing how much excitement the taller friend had, Genny can't help but beam. In case there was any fright, any fear, she moved her free hand and gripped Elise's. They'd handle it together.[break][break]

"Johto!" That wasn't too far from Hoenn if she was correct. She remembers her mother working there in Olivine a few trips! "Right! Ecruteak is the one with the tower, right?" Genny had never been herself, but she always wanted to go there. It was a place where the rainbow could be seen, above in the sky. While she never had that as a dream, it was something she would trade a lot to see. Especially with her Girlygang.[break][break]

Hearing that Elise was from a family of spirit channelers, it only made sense! Like a lightbulb bursting above her head. "That's why you're good with Ghost types!" She would compliment. Genny only had two herself, and they weren't exactly the best or strongest. Pumpkin King and Guardian were two ghosties who preferred the comfort of her living room space in Lilycove. "Don't sell yourself short! I could never master the type!" She laughs sheepishly.[break][break]

The line kept shortening, only a few groups in front now, the sounds of the screams from the slides as they went down had Genny filled with excitement. It was time soon, and who else would pop from her Pokeball but Dandy?[break][break]

The little sunshine loving Skiploom, nestling on Genny's head and enjoying her CHLOROPHYLL, basking in the glow. The shortest ear flop wave was given towards Elise, big wide content smile on that green little face.[break][break]

"Dandy seems excited too!"

And it wasn't just Gordo! When Andrea threw out her Pokeballs, Genny's hazel eyes lit up and took them all in. From the red Gyarados, to her own Salamence, the clumsiest Dracovish, an Exeggutor that reminded her of home, and Jalapeno.[break][break]

The level of motherly care Andrea gave to that little gator, changing his typing so he could enjoy the water, had Genny smile wider.[break][break]

She couldn't let Andrea take all the fun! Pulling out her other five Pokeballs, from somewhere, she tosses the rest out, Gordo's eyes widening as he jumps in place towards Pon, pointing out. More friends! More friends! And as he turns into a ball, he excitedly goes around Pon in a ROLLOUT circle, never to kick water at her, never to aim at her. He wanted to let her know how excited he was![break][break]

Genny had definitely packed smaller, especially when the Sligoo was the tallest Pokemon of the bunch here. Beachboy sat bouncing, and edging towards the water where Andrea's Dracovish moved, with Dandy and Speedy quietly zipping closer themselves. Keanu took a spot on Genny's shoulder, with Blue hiding behind her legs at the big new scary intimidating Pokemon. With love and care, Genny picked up her Mudkip, and let her other Pokemon play, Dandy and Speedy coming to greet Pon too. More small friends![break][break]

"You inspire me."[break][break]

Genny calls out towards Andrea, a sweet smile on her lips, both hands behind her back as she speaks. "I hope I can inspire you too." She doesn't wait, as Keanu gives a Pikachu howdy-hello to Andrea, and Blue gives Andrea a few pops from her small Mudkip mouth.[break][break]

Revenge has no place here.

The waggling fingers from Genny comes, as she attempts to tickle back towards Eris. But stops, at the mention of all of the treats.[break][break]

And Genny's stomach rumbles, as she hears the sandwiches. Ah, those sounded good. She hadn't had much at all! As she grabs towards her stomach, and quiets it, Akane and Beachboy turn to scold at her. Genny rubs the back of her head.[break][break]

Maybe... she should have eaten more?[break][break]

"Got it, a simple spread! Already sounds so good to eat!" She beams towards Eris, as she sees Reiner's embarrassment. And all the redhead can do is grin harder. So sweet, so cute.[break][break]

A friend? "Whose the friend?" She was so curious now.

The way this young lady's body aches, the way her head turns as much as it can to see Genny, it fills Genny with hope. Hope that she would be okay. But the question of who saved her... Genny rubs the back of her head.[break][break]

"I was. And no need to thank me. That's what we do." She holds her Ranger Badge up, and places it on the end table in this little hospital room. Butting her head in, an Aerodactyl fits her way into the room, peering over towards Elaine, her gaze towards the hospitalized woman before her. She makes the tiniest sqwawk she can, before perching in the room proper. "Shale here carried you here. Didn't you, girl?" She brushes a hand on the dinosaur's head, the near six foot of dino reserved as she chitters into the hand.[break][break]

The question of the Gallade has Genny pause and ponder, before her eyes fixate away. These stories are always like this, huh?[break][break]

"I didn't. I'm sorry. If we didn't fly you here when we did, you-" she stops, the words lost in her throat, never to reach Elaine. Brave faces can only take her so far.[break][break]

"I can keep an eye out." Finding a Gallade in these parts shouldn't be too hard, right? "I have a Gardevoir that can help... oh, uh. My name is Genevieve. Just call me Genny, okay?" She moves closer.[break][break]

Just a few short months ago, she was in a room just like this with PENELOPE LIVY...[break][break]
