Xenon was immediately of two minds about the old bag that had entered into the RKS System this time around with her.

On the one hand, she was something of a representative of history, someone who had lived through so much of it that it irritated her on a gut level. There wasn't much future left for this woman, her existence was so based in the past that even acknowledging her was like acknowledging history. Generally speaking Xenon just didn't get along with older people, they had a certain kind of personality and reverence for the past that immediately ticked her off. It didn't really help that Marily was releasing one of those god awful Paradox Pokemon from the past, the antithesis of what she liked aesthetically.

But on the other hand, this old lady was kinda rocking it? Like she was giving off a pretty rad vibe, immediately playing along with Xenon's hyperviolence and helping out by destroying the boulders she was kicking. The jury is still out on this one, maybe there really is an exception for every rule.

Speaking of rules, it seems like they had just broken the number 1 rule as that worker from before runs in screaming at them to stop, but the damage was already done. Rocks and boulders meld together into some bizarre golem amalgamation, a being not too dissimilar from the Regice that she had fought against during the events of Mirage Island, but definitely a lot uglier looking. She should be panicking, but instead all Xenon can do is laugh as she releases her Iron Jugulis and hops on, tearing a hole open in the data and pulling Marilyn through with careless abandon. "Woo! That's the good kind of destruction right there, tearing down the past and building something kickass and new in its place!" She roars as she drags the old lady up onto Rhodium's back behind her, at once rough in her handling of the little old lady, yet surprisingly considerate considering she could have just as easily left the woman to die in that collapsing tomb.

Once again she finds herself pulled into the darkness, once again she stares down that hall of stone, once again she hears the voices of the Unown scratching at her ears and digging their way into her mind. But this time she would not face it alone.

This time she was accompanied by the "Visionary" Naomi Sato, one of the Head Scientists of Rocket and the current Avatar of the Unown. While she cared little for past events, even Xenon couldn't fully deny this woman's history and relevance towards what she sought, having published a public paper on Paradox Pokemon and of course being a very influential figure within Team Rocket.

The morning most likely started like any other for Ms. Sato, waking up, making breakfast, getting cleaned up. What was most definitely unexpected was Xenon tracking her down almost immediately upon leaving her home and dragging her to the RKS Research facilities, requests for explanations or reasoning or even how Xenon had found her so quickly brushed off with the same nonchalance as one might brush off a question about the weather or favored music. It was only halfway to the actual facility itself that Xenon even realized she hadn't introduced herself, her name given quickly before Xenon moved on to the next part of her ramblings on the RKS machine and why she needed Naomi.

Overall what this sudden intrusion into her life boiled down to was this: Xenon wanted to study how the Unown within the RKS system would react to the newly crowned champion of their species, testing the limits of the simulated universe and just how far they could be pushed before there was a crack in the system. And this was definitely the best starting point in that regard.

The two Rockets could not like each other, hell they could barely even tolerate each other, they certainly weren't pining for one another. But they could most certainly work together in this moment, Xenon showing an adaptability that was befitting of a woman of the future.

The legend of the sea rages and roars, some call it a god, others a force of nature, Howard would call it history in the making.

Xenon saw it only as another challenge to be overcome.

She didn't need his permission, but with it freely given she could only smile as she steps forwards and raises her hand aloft in the air. Metal claws clack against one another as she snaps her fingers, all her Pokemon's eyes now firmly on her even as Rhodium takes a direct hit from a draconic pulse from the Nagandel. It was time to face down a god.

"You can leave if you want Caterpie boy! Run away again, live to see another day! But you won't stop me from killing this overgrown worm and bringing the world a step closer to the future!" Xenon roars as she points at the Kyogre. Four more Pokemon burst from her belt and dive into action, a team of Gengar, Veluza, Iron Jugulis, Glimmora, Malamar, and a Carnivine all flying out to the ocean to fight off a god.

It's a beautiful snowy day on Mount Chimney today in Hoenn, a statement that boggles the imagination for so many reasons that Xenon cared absolutely nothing for. What mattered to her in this moment was the intense spacial distortion that was causing this snowy day, and more importantly the implications of the spacial distortion on her research. Now your average scientist might content themselves merely with sending in a weather balloon or perhaps a drone to gather data, but Xenon was no average scientist.

This woman was the definition of Ultramodern, meaning she absolutely had to go in herself for this task of utmost importance. And of course she wasn't going to get into this mess by herself, it was borderline necessary for her to drag someone else into this miserable business!

Thus we find our heroes(?) here on Mount Chimney, freezing their asses off as Xenon scans the bizarre energy readings coming from this cave near the top of the volcano. Nothing about anything made sense here, trekking up the mountain had led through five areas of intense blizzard clashing with lava actively flowing down the mountain, the cave they were in right now was just such one of these areas in fact. The wind picks up at random trying to blow the two of them over, a byproduct of the intense pressure being generated by the temperature clashes according to Xenon, though one couldn't be faulted for assuming it was just the volcano itself trying to spite them.

It certainly didn't feel very happy about Xenon poking about its innards with various sticks and probes, scraping at rocks and throwing snowballs around trying to measure the exact dimensions of the spatial distortion happening. You could practically hear it grumbling even as the earth under their feet shakes furiously, something that the scientist of course seemed totally oblivious to.
