After their run in with the wild Riolu, the ear-like constructs of the steel princess bounce. Audrey turns in seeing a shiny Unfezant swoop in to see her. The bird must have thought that the steel type Pokemon that accompanies her charge’s side is an opponent to fight. Elise wondered why the bird wasn’t attacking or if the other female would attack her Pokemon at all.[break][break]

Until the Magearna opens one of her hands like a flowery cannon, an Aurora Beam shoots out from the petaled hand. It freezes the bird Pokemon, encasing the bird in a solid ice sculpture. A sigh comes from the ambassador and she’ll have to help thaw her out later. She throws a Dusk Ball at the bird Pokemona and the red light sucks in the wild Unfezant.

A voice calls out her title, a masculine one that she recognizes as a Galarian accent. When Elise turns around to see a man had pushed some bushes apart to see her, her Mismagius’ yellow eyes turn wary. “Oh? Have we met before?” The ambassador asks, there was no surprise that most of the Galarian people who live here knew her by her position as a Galarian princess.[break][break]

The third in line to Her Majesty, the Queen’s throne to be precise.[break][break]

A shiny Blissey comes out from the other side of the bushes. While Mana is likened to a royal guard, she summons an Icy Wind to attack the shiny Blissey. Shivering comes from the female round Pokemon that the Blissey gets pity from the royal ambassador.[break][break]

As Elise throws a Dusk Ball, it sucks in the pink shiny Pokemon. She would have to apologize to the Blissey a little later.

What sounded like worried calls came from the direction of the little path towards the Calcifet Draciary owned by her eldest cousin and crown prince of Galar. The ambassador hurries to where the sounds came from along with her trio of Pokemon, the Calyrex shard, Mismagius, and Magearna following her. She sees the Appletun and Flapple surround what appeared to be a wild Gabite lying on the ground.[break][break]

“Did you two come from Remy’s draciary? It’s not safe outside, the Dragon Fangs could come in and harm you both.” A worried warning comes from the Galarian princess as she tries to get the Appletun and Flapple back to the Draciary though they insist on helping the injured wild dragon. [break][break]

Her bigger worry was that the Dragon Fangs could come in and poach Remy’s Pokemon if they weren’t expecting them. That group had eluded the authorities as long as they were able to stay hidden and had a large following in the black market for Dragon type Pokemon.[break][break]

Kneeling down to the grass, she starts to check on the body of the wild Gabite while the blue dragon growls at her. “It’s alright, I’m checking for wounds.” While the Gabite attempts to move, he growls again from the pain of his apparent broken left leg. [break][break]

She had seen the Head Ranger treat a Wingulll’s broken wing and she needed to do the same with the Gabite’s broken leg. Charles floats over to see what’s going on and he calms the Gabite with an Aromatherapy scent from the beads around the neck of the Calyrex shard.

While Fortree City was without a Ranger Captain now and the former gym leader had gone to Paldea to be with his new husband, Elise still gets a bunch of pictures sent from her friend over to her smartphone. Alexei Ivanov and Frog were enjoying themselves, away from the chaos of Hoenn being plunged into war. She’s happy that Alex wouldn’t be involved in war, Elise didn’t want that to happen to her Unovan bird-loving friend.[break][break]

When the Petalburg-Sootopolis war ends, the ambassador still feels the tensions around the other cities, particularly Rustboro. She has her partnered Mismagius outside of her Moon Ball where the witch-like ghost wished to train and get stronger along their stroll into Route 120. Much like the Galarian royal princess, the female ghost wanted to get on the level that the legendary Calyrex shard was in.[break][break]

A sense of small worry comes from the trees rustling a little when they go through a small forest. The female royal knew that there was still the Ancient Tomb around the route too, but she would not go inside that today. The tomb would be better off with having to explore it some other time.

While Lilycove City and the surrounding route had been going through some draining to get the water out, Mt. Pyre appeared to be unaffected by the flooding from Sootopolis. The Galarian royal ambassador had come to the mountain so many times as a graveyard would hold both the grave of her late mother and the shiny Doublade that sacrificed himself to save Elise’s life in the Petalburg war.[break][break]

The Calyrex shard and the Galarian royal’s trusty Mismagius accompany her and Easter in seeing the Dragapult for themselves. A dragon type Pokemon that was native to Elise’s home country.[break][break]

“I am fine, thank you.” The female royal replies thankfully to her friend while her Mismagius keeps on a look out for the Dragapult. “I was sure that the Dragapult and their families would be the ones to help protect some of the mausoleums to stave off grave robbers, so it was why they've lived here.”

Galar now had a rocky relationship with the crown prince where his people would say that he had not helped them with the current aftermath. In the meantime that she had been taught by the former Galarian Ambassador, he had given her books on Galarian politics. An important thing to learn while more books were given to her about Hoenn’s own politics and even other regions’.[break][break]

An irony since she was the only cousin in his family that wasn’t born in Galar. She was born in her mother’s home region, Johto.[break][break]

“That would be a sight I have never seen that not even the books from my father’s castle’s royal library would never describe in words.” Like a sheltered princess who had only seen the entire world in the pages of a book, the Galarian royal is able to see the cave ready itself with bright gemstones on the walls. Her shiny Eevee wanted to see it too. “The Draconids were much more advanced than I would’ve thought… They come up with so many ways to predict astronomy.”

The great hall of the mansion is decorated with spooky decor fit for a masquerade ball filled with ghost type Pokemon being the guides for every guest. Among the guests that were in dresses and suits, the Galarian lady arrives in a dark blue evening gown decorated with red roses, long white evening gloves, and an ivy patterned fascinator hat atop her head after she dismisses one of the Gastly that led her there.[break][break]

Long dark purple hair sways with her movements across the floor of the great hall. With dignified and calm grace, the female Galarian approaches two blond men in finery fit for a well-dressed event. “Good evening, sir.” She’d address paxton concordas with a polite bow of her head. “I would hope you are finding yourself comfortable during the evening’s festivities.”[break][break]

Inside the head of the female Galarian, the cogs began to turn. A nasty plot forms when the night is still young. She would enjoy being among the guests, some of which were people that she could speak with at her own time.

Audrey is the first to note a blue Pokemon training near a set of boulders. The steel princess wanted to see the female Riolu too, considering that she had watched her trainer’s Lucario train with Dimitri the Riolu for weeks. When the Riolu takes notice of the Magearna, she gets a bit nervous over how to approach Audrey. [break][break]

“Don’t worry, she’s friendly.” The Galarian princess says over to the wild Riolu and the Magearna reaches out with her hand. In a few minutes, the nervousness goes away from the wild Riolu and both Audrey and her new playmate play together with a game of hide and seek.[break][break]

After the female Riolu leaves with a hug towards the Magearna, the steel princess continues to look around the route.

From the time that Elise battled with CIAN MAHER at the Vital City Tournament, the Rustboro gym leader appeared to be an affable man. His Froakie was one of the more harder opponents she faced due to how trained the frog Pokemon was. The ambassador figures that he would give her a challenge when she can take on his gym.[break][break]

“Are you insinuating that Mr. Maher would abandon his people here if he got the chance to escape his doom?” That was a terrible thought, one that reminds her of Remiel’s apparent abandonment of his countrymen too. “If Mr. Maher runs away, I will continue to protect Rustboro and its people.”

Maybe that would be a foolish decision. Fighting was not her strong suit and she’s more of a medic who helped people on the sidelines. Luckily, she does have Pokemon who protect and fight for her.[break][break]

“I am sure that the League’s Calyrex has faith in my abilities to lead and in doing so, he has his trust in me. As a King, he has so much experience and I’m trying my hardest to show him how much I’ve learned from my cousin’s teaching.”[break][break]

Even Remiel himself had acknowledged that the student had exceeded the master.

Waves of relief wash over the ambassador when Aurelie says that it was water under the bridge now. The day of the commission was so long ago that the current war situation overshadowed that. Petalburg’s fall made her think a lot more on how she was going to help Rustboro’s security along with the gym leader.[break][break]

“I’m happy that you forgive me, Miss Lefevre.” She responds kindly to the red-headed woman before the attention is called over to the Calyrex shard that accompanies the princess’ Magearna. Elise expects that people would take notice, given that she has taken the shard everywhere to learn about the region itself.[break][break]

“Oh… Yes, that’s my Calyrex. His name is Charles.” Elise isn’t ashamed to admit that she had given her shard a name, an easy one to remember than just Calyrex. “Um… well, yes. He is not the same one as the one in Ever Grande’s Dyna Tree. He’s more of a piece of himself that the High King bestowed to me."[break][break]

Elise recalls that day well. The High King trusts her with the shard enough that he’d watch over how her progress was doing in learning newer things as a ruler figure.[break][break]

“Since he’s not the same as the real King, Charles is more of a baby that I’m taking care of. He follows my orders, both in and out of battle.” The Galarian royal answers Aurelie’s questions at a time and she’ll answer her last with a shake of her head. “He cannot speak since he lacks the ability to possess a person to speak through as a vessel, only that he says crown like his own name.”
