From the brief exchange that she had with the lady on the phone, the address was provided over to the little place that the other lady wanted help with cleaning. Luckily, it wasn’t hard to find and even Elise had come out of the home she roomed with REESE RHODES along with her two Pokemon, the Calyrex shard and a Magearna that Charles had become friends with.[break][break]

When she approaches the blonde lady at the curbside, the ambassador gives a slight bow of her head in greeting. “Hello Ms. Monroe, I hope I was not too late in giving you help for the cleaning.” Elise’s Calyrex shard and Magearna were not very far behind from her as the steel princess gives a wave with her one hand. “This is Charles and Audrey, they’re here to help clean with me.”[break][break]

The thought of having to help clean someone’s trash didn’t bother her much. As a princess, she always had servants do it for her and it was fair to help someone clean their house when she was here in Hoenn.

Though she had a lot to learn in strategies when it came to battling, the Galarian royal had made sure to prepare and train her Pokemon for her upcoming fight with the same Rocket lady that had injured her. No, she wasn’t going to be injured again and that could be an outcome that can happen during the fight. The royal is a Ranger Captain now, she outranked her cousin more ways than one.[break][break]

Because Rustboro’s her responsibility, she has to protect her domain.[break][break]

Her Mismagius and Gengar came with her when the masked Rocket challenges her with a Ceruledge and Armarouge. “I’m not nervous anymore and I trained just like you. Like Remiel, I trained hard to get to where I am now.” Purple eyes from the royal ambassador narrow at the words of the masked Rocket. “I didn’t want to keep you waiting for our rematch, Rocket.”[break][break]

The word spits out her mouth like a fire. This lady gloated that Elise is just a trainer to crush, an ant in the sand for a boot to squish.[break][break]

“Really? Am I just another trainer for you to crush?” A scoff came from the royal ambassador while her two ghosts stand ready to defend her. “I think you are the one who isn’t confident enough that you can win.”

Before the ambassador could ask the Castform if it had been from somewhere in Rustboro City, its owner shows up. Well, it was clear that the Castform before her was owned by a trainer and one that she’s familiar with. The gym leader was a guy that she fought against in the Vital City Tournament, but didn’t get his badge. [break][break]

Because getting a free badge when she could’ve done his challenge was kind of a waste.[break][break]

“Good day, Cian. I didn’t know that was your Castform, forgive me.” A little blush came onto her pale cheeks when she had assumed the opposite though she’ll greet the gym leader anyway. “But I’m sure your Castform didn’t wander too far other than to try and get a taste of my sushi lunch.”

The match ends in a 30 second break since there was a rules violation with a 6v6 battle needing her fellow ranger to use one move on his Pokemon. Her hare king stops using Psychic to let the referee give the ranger his warning before the match continued in the passing of the 30 second mark. On her way back to her side of the arena in the building, the ambassador gives her Calyrex shard some Poketreats from a little bag.[break][break]

He nibbles on them quickly and those treats were the same ones that the director of Project SAPPHIRE fed him on her meeting with the officer after some time. “Keep on his Meganium with Psychic, Charles.” Finishing up his snack, the Calyrex’s crown glows bright green and Psychic energy creates a blast that imperils the grass type Johtonian starter.

Elise notes a fish Pokemon that she hadn’t seen before. The Veluza swims towards the Nihilego and her pink Hatenna charge as if the fish was intending to try and eat the Hatenna like a snack. Undine gets in between her protecterate and the wild fish Pokemon, her body glows like a biolumiscent plant in the Ultra Sea as a Power Gem from the jellyfish Pokemon rakes the body of the Veluza with small cuts.[break][break]

Angered by the jellyfish Pokemon, the psychic fish attempts to attack the Nihilego with Aqua Cutter. As Undine directs the Hatenna away from the attacking fish, she lets the Aqua Cutter hit her body and retaliates with Venoshock. Irisviel feels bad for the fish and she heals the psychic type with a Heal Pulse right before Elise throws a Dusk Ball from her pack to catch the psychic fish.

Using two moves at once was probably a thing that wasn’t allowed in official gym matches. A gym leader usually lets their challenger use only one move per Pokemon in doubles or singles. It was what Elise followed when she did her matches against gym leaders that she faced for traditional battles. [break][break]

“Are you sure that you’re allowed to use two moves in a Pokemon battle like that? Deplorable.” The royal ambassador shakes her head in a disapproving manner. “Get on the offensive, Charles. Psychic.”[break][break]

The hare king follows his handler’s command and Psychic energy envelops the glowing crowned king. These energies turn into a powerful blast that threatens to damage the female Meganium further. In a match that depended on her two Pokemon, the Galarian royal was going to take this really seriously.[break][break]

There was no doubt now. She had to win.

Ghost had come onto her conversation with the Mauville gym leader and Josh expressed interest in wanting to spar with her over swordfighting in the winter. “It could be nice to spar with you, Josh. I’m very interested in seeing what you learned from Mr. Yang’s teachings from the Flying Sword School.” She replies with a little smile. Winter was a good time to train her skill out in cold weather, no matter how harsh it can be.[break][break]

“And hello to you too, Ghost.” Her greeting comes to the ranger that joined on the conversation with her former boss.[break][break]

Audrey’s gears turn some more when the pink eyes of the Magearna look a bit curiously over to the green-haired ranger. The Ranger Captain of Rustboro City would think that Josh’s theory appeared to hold some weight. “Yes, I think so too. I know Rocket will surely use her as a bargaining chip just as they did to me.” She’s concerned that they’ll try to negotiate with exchanging Shalin for one of the prisoners of war that the League has kept in their prison.

A Skrelp looks up at the Nihilego and her Hatenna friend. Elise smiles down at the male younger seahorse while Irisviel looks at the Skrelp from behind the Nihilego’s tentacles. Undine doesn’t approach the Skrelp as she’d hear the noises coming from the Skrelp’s parents that called for him. The Nihilego figured that she would leave the Skrelp alone for the younger Pokemon to go find his parents.[break][break]

When the Skrelp goes back to find his parents, the pink Hatenna is a little sad that she didn’t get to play with him.

While the brunette young woman spoke of wanting to find her father after being sent here in Hoenn by her overprotective mother, Elise is reminded of her cousin’s mother and the current Queen. Queen Edelynn II was the most upset by her son not wanting to follow in her footsteps after his father died. [break][break]

Elise’s father wasn’t like that, he’d actually was more receptive to how Elise wanted to train Pokemon too.[break][break]

“I hope that you find your father and get answers. My father is the only family member I have besides my little sister, but I don’t consider my aunt to be part of my family.” The royal talks about the Queen like she’s bitter over the female monarch’s mocking to compare her niece to her son, Remiel. She takes the teacup to sip her tea while the Mismagius moves one of the slices of cake onto a plate with Psychic over to her trainer. “And I understood that well with following your own path because my cousin wanted to follow his own at being an archaeologist, much to the chagrin of my aunt.”[break][break]

And in a way, Remiel was much happier to be the archaelogist he wanted to be than a prince who was set to become Galar’s king.[break][break]

“I would wager that he’d say I would be the perfect heiress who’s better than him now. It’s a little funny because I thought he was the perfect prince type when we were children.”

In many ways than one, she and Remiel were different from each other. When she was younger, the female royal thought Remiel was like a really perfect prince who had no shortcomings. His mother thought so, the Queen had always propped up her son to be the one and only capable heir to the Galarian throne. Rays from the sun shone down onto the building and Solar Beam comes from the female Meganium. Thankfully, a Meganium wasn’t capable of learning super effective attacks that could pose a problem for her legendary shard. “Redirect it back with Psychic.” Elise knows that the shard’s power with psychic energy was strong enough that he’ll be able to do the same thing his steed did.[break][break]

His bulbous crown glows bright green as the Psychic energy takes hold of the oncoming Solar Beam and veers it right back at the Meganium. In some way, she did appreciate that she’s able to get some training in to write back to Project Sapphire’s director and the scientists that work for it.[break][break]

Sapphire was much more interested in seeing how her bond with Calyrex would affect the shard being able to follow her orders in battle.
