Did Alexei read her like a book? She might have been a little bad about open communication because that was a good key to any relationship, even the platonic ones. “Yes, I confess that it was a problem when I don’t communicate openly with him.” Giving a nod, the diplomat would have to make time to really sit him down and she and her heterosexual partner could talk together without her busy schedule being a problem. “You’re right. I know it’s a key to any relationship.”[break][break]

When he does say that if she didn’t communicate with her partner, things will only get ugly from there. “That’s good to know because…I really love him and well, I don’t want to get into an ugly fight.” Alex might have been speaking from his experience with his partner and speaking of, he might have fought before with his. “Did your partner get into fights with you sometimes? Is that why you know more than I do in regards to relationship problems?”

Alexei’s Charizard helps with warming the eggs up and her Plusle and Minun assist with carrying the smaller eggs in their size. When her friend asks if she wants to walk around or if she’s in a hurry, the diplomat can’t imagine that she could be in a hurry to deliver eggs to people. “I’m not in a hurry, so we can walk together.” Her reply came with a small smile. In a kind of familiar way, his Charizard reminded her of her own shiny one that had a bit of a noble personality.[break][break]

“You know, your Charizard reminds me of my boyfriend’s.” Elise laughs a little since she remembered the day that she and her guard saved his starter from being injured out in the woods. “Only his is the shiny color and I’ve accidentally misgendered her a few times. Cinder is his loyal Pokemon though.”

Alexei asks her the question that people who were also there at a public event would ask while he’s still a bit flabbergasted. “Yes, I’ve met the shard of Calyrex at the Dyna Tree itself…where everyone was feeding the actual Calyrex stories to restore his power.” The diplomat confirms it and since this was public, the League knew of the bestowment of the legendary shard by the League’s Calyrex. [break][break]

“I was planning on talking with the League’s higher-ups about it when I have the chance.” A nod came from the royal when she wants to be transparent with the League itself that she’s willing to help on the side lines with the shard of Calyrex’s healing powers. The sheriff’s words echoed from her stay at the hospital that she had a role that she’s meant to play than to act as Hoenn’s strong sword.

She had to admit that out of the two of them, Alexei did have the most relationship experience than the ambassador did. “Well truthfully, I hadn’t. I should do it if I have to sit down and talk with him.” That was the issue, she felt bad that she didn’t set aside a few days from her busy schedule to talk things out with her own romantic partner. Elise kept worrying that he was becoming like Amor in a way, her former ex really didn’t tell her what was wrong when they broke up.[break][break]

“I don’t think he’s the type to keep his thoughts to himself like Amor.” She replies to her friend worriedly. Elise can’t read her boyfriend’s mind, so she won’t know what he’s really thinking. “But I’m hoping he can open up. I can’t remember if he can’t process intense emotions, but it’s worrying me that he distances himself form me somewhat.”

She didn’t hear much of what the Verdanturf gym leader did, but the diplomat understood about losing a loved one. “That sounds so terrible from the way that he is going through this. I do understand that he won’t hold a state funeral unless the former Top Champion is somehow alive.” Elise replied though she did feel bad that she wasn’t there to console the former Top Champion’s partner, namely because the ambassador was busy with catching up on some work.[break][break]

“Thank you.” She puts on the face mask when he hands her a spare. Mt. Chimney had been a soot-filled place ever since the incident with the death of the former Top Champion took place. “I would hope so. There should be some clue over whether we can find where he might be.” Maybe the Galarian royal is optimistic that Kyle himself was alive and not dead like the League’s statement would present.

From the way that the senior ranger shouts at the legendary Pokemon, she probably will ask who was he talking about. Not here though, the sea was much too chaotic for a conversation to know about the woman he accuses the big fish of taking her life of. She looks over to the Froslass when her ghost is doing her job along with her trainer. [break][break]

Distressed sounds from the Wailmer made the diplomat in her ranger uniform act fast. The poor water type Pokemon were still spinning around in the churning waters.[break][break]

“Come with me.” She says to the distressed Wailmer when her Noivern flies over to them. “It’s not safe here.” Thankfully, the stuck Wailmer were able to swim along with her when Elise encourages them to. Her Noivern helps to push some of them through the choppy ocean water.

The diplomat understands that working with a legendary Pokemon can get very messy and she’s free to make that decision. “At the end of the day, I’d thank you for giving me a warning before I jumped into it. It appears that I would’ve been too rash to accept a large responsibility if you had not told me of the risks involved.” The real warning of potentially dying from being overwhelmed by that power was still a thing she’s scared of, but maybe her senior was aware of people who had that same power and they would’ve risked death too.[break][break]

When Lars asks if the shard Calyrex had ever hijacked her body to speak with her, the ambassador shakes her head. “No, I doubt he will have the same power like the actual Calyrex. It’s safer to assume that if he didn’t verbally communicate with me using a vessel, he won’t have the means to do it with me.” She was maybe sure that the real Calyrex might do it with her…if the King wanted. Nonetheless, the fact that he used a poor League official meant that he just needed a nearby person to psychically take over and talk to her this way.

The Wailmer were being handled by her Froslass’ help while Elise calmly helps the other Wailmer with getting away from the storm. Rain splashes down onto her hair and face, but her priority was to help the wild Pokemon not get sucked in by the Sea Basin Pokemon’s anger. She’s able to watch the elite ranger’s shiny Metagross help the scared Pokemon while the call of anger from Lars would make her a bit curious if that person he talked about was the legendary Pokemon’s handler.[break][break]

There were many more people in the world that didn’t disclose whether they were Avatars, but she wouldn’t pry. Avatarship like Remiel’s was only out to people who knew because she knows that he was battling Team Rocket now. Maybe his patron would be the one that helps League too…with their conflict with Rocket.

Much to the detriment of everyone else that wanted to kill the Megalopolan, it would appear that the general got to survive. Elise had gotten disappointment from those that she knew, much like her elder cousin. Alas, she doesn’t have the energy to contend with them nor to oppose their pacifistic view of potentially keeping a dangerous threat alive. She imagines that most of the others wanted to go home already, back to their rest and put that incident behind them.[break][break]

“I believe Dr. Reyes’ patron will create that way to get us home.” A sigh comes from the Galarian Ambassador when she talks to zachary stellar . Rest needed to be done before she’ll have some energy to get back to work tomorrow. Her assistant must have been worried sick from her disappearance. "Let's go home, Charles." She speaks to the shard Calyrex later before the deity of space creates the space rift to get the others home.[break][break]

She’ll take the space rift created by Palkia to take her back to Lilycove City during the late evening. The shard Calyrex follows her, he doesn’t get to kill the Pecharunt except for the final blow to the pecha-like Pokemon being dealt by the Ogerpon that bonded with her fellow minor league gym leader. [break][break]

And when she gets to her Victorian manor home and opens the door for Charles to come inside, the ambassador lays onto the plush couch. The hare king rests with her, perhaps he is tired of everything that happened too.
