Dorian, being a bartender at the party, had arrived earlier than most. The former Beast kept to himself, gathering the supplies he needed to mix drinks. Once he had everything he needed, he immediately got to work, mixing different cocktails for the guests.

While some cocktails were 'mass produced', and passed around by the likes of Steven Campbell, and others working the floor, Dorian stayed behind at the bar. Those who chose to visit his bar were treated to the man's talents in mixology. Dorian had prepared a decent menu of holiday-themed drinks for patrons to choose from.

Surprisingly, Dorian found a lull in activity. One that would, no doubt, not last very long. The Mad Dog took the opportunity to give his faithful Incineroar, Mister Bigglesworth, a treat for doing such a good job with 'bodyguarding', not that he'd likely need it.

Not to take away from Chu-e's ability to survive, but everything he had been through had clearly taken its toll. The experimentation he underwent in Kalos made him physically frail. And that wasn't to say what Necrozma's influence had done to him.

"It was more a business opportunity. I was a young man, fresh in the Region, with no connections, no prospects of a straight and narrow life. Had I gone to the League, I'd have been deported back to Orre.", he'd quickly explain. "Not that I'm complaining at all. Kindness or opportunism, Theo saved my life that day. Helped me find my purpose in life. And for that, I'm eternally grateful to him.", he'd add.

Today, Dorian was not here to cause trouble. Instead, the Mad Dog, under the guise of Jason Jaeger, a businessman from a Region close to Unova, was out playing with his son, Demetrius.

The Mad Dog, who was dressed in a finely tailored suit, smiled as he watched his son play. The boy was riding around on the back of his Volcarona. The young boy laughed as the fluffy fire moth flew around in circles.

For a moment, Dorian stepped out to buy the three of them treats, an ice cream for his son, and himself. And a special treat for his Volcarona.

As he returned, he saw the gathering of Rangers, as they applauded their new Captain. Dorian, from beneath his shades, studied the woman. Rather small, but had a formidable-looking team on her. Though he was on his best behavior today, he still had the opportunity to study his enemy.

Despite being rushed down by the sumo Pokemon, the Cinderace was far from done. Bouncing from where he was, the Cinderace would finish off the Hariyama with a brutal missile kick to the head from above.

An Arcanine, upon seeing the Pinsir crush the Growlithe to death, charged the bug with a Flare Blitz. The Pinsir was killed on impact. Following this, the Arcanine was crushed by a Rock Slide from the Emboar belonging to Dorian.

"Interesting partner you got there!", he'd remark, regarding the black and orange Tapu Koko.

"Explosives? I got just the thing!", Dorian remarked, sending out two Pokemon. A thoroughly corrupted Armarouge, and a Coalossal.

"Explosion! Guard us, and the supplies!", Dorian called out to the two.

The Armarouge set up a Wide Guard, erecting a barrier that defended the two Rockets, their Pokemon, and the cargo. The Coalossal glowed with power briefly, before going out in a violent explosion that consumed the remaining League forces in the area.

When the dust settled, the Coalossal lay unconscious. Dorian recalled the beast.

The Charizard reverted back to his normal state.

"Shall we get the supplies back to our camp, sir?", Dorian inquired.

Dorian couldn't help but roll his eyes at the woman's vulgar response.

Upon finally killing the Slither Wing, the Infernape collapsed, his head becoming light after his rampage. The Infernape stumbled around briefly, before hitting his head on the wall, knocking himself out.

With a sigh, Dorian recalled the Infernape, replacing it with his Iron Moth.

"I'll keep that in mind.", Dorian remarked. The Mad Dog didn't flinch as she flicked his hat off. "I'd say it fits the occasion. But there's no account for taste.", Dorian playfully jeered.

The Mad Dog picked his hat back up, before continuing through the temple.

Dorian grinned in bloodthirsty satisfaction as the Noivern went down to the Dragon Claw. Despite this, Matias brought out his own Charizard, one that Mega Evolved. In this moment, Dorian lamented having already Mega Evolved his earlier.

"Yeah, me.", Dorian commented, a nasty sneer on his face.

Before their fight could continue on, the Mega Charizard flew the man out of there.

"I will find you, Matias Silph! And I will kill you!", Dorian bellowed out, before he and his Charizard retreated.

More League soldiers pour out of the truck. The Mega Evolved Charizard took initiative, taking out a Seviper with his Dragon Claw. The mighty blow from the Mega Evolved Pokemon managed to cleave the serpent in two.

Porkchop advanced on the Obstagoon accompanying one of the operatives, smashing down on the obstructive Pokemon with a particularly vicious Hammer Arm, one that practically flattened it.

The Cinderace, rather than targeting one of the Pokemon, instead opted to send a Pyro Ball straight at the operative who seemed to be coordinating their futile attempts at a counter-offensive. A Hariyama shoved the leader aside, taking the Pyro Ball for them. In retaliation, the Hariyama ran down the Cinderace with a Headlong Rush.

Dorian would join the Avatar in advancing on the League members. Tossing a Pokeball containing a freshly caught Pinsir their way, Dorian allowed the insect to get their attention. The furious Pinsir grabbed a Growlithe, holding it in a brutal Vice Grip, as Dorian drew his hammer, before rushing a League operative with it.

The Cinderace wasted no time in charging the supply truck. With a burst of speed by way of Quick Attack, the Cinderace slammed into one of the soldiers who emerged from the back of the truck. The Emboar Bulked Up while the Cinderace had their attention.

"Mega Evolution? I can do that, too!", Dorian remarked with a chipper tone, brandishing his ring. He'd then bring out his Charizard, Mister Burns. Upon tapping his ring, the Charizard was enveloped in a cocoon of energy, before emerging in a blackened form, with blue flame bursting from his maw.

The Mega Charizard-X took to the air, before smashing down on a Machamp with a particularly nasty Body Slam.

"I don't expect someone like you to get it.", Dorian remarked. His tone wasn't of anger, but of serenity at the thought of his beloved. He still didn't know what drew @marionette to him in the first place, but he was no less grateful for her choosing him.

The Slither Wing, in a fit of rage, proceeded to Thrash the Raboot violently. The bipedal bunny stood little chance against the attack, as his body is violently pummeled into the stone, before he is killed in the onslaught.

The Infernape, in retaliation for his lost brother, began to beat and pummel the Slither Wing in a Raging Fury. Ironically, the Fire Attacks seemed to have a considerable impact on the ancient Volcarona, who cried out in pain as it was assailed by the enraged simian.

"Did you just - impale a ghost?", Dorian asked Xenon, dumbstruck.

The death cries of the Corvisquire do nothing to stop the onslaught from the Mad Dog. As the Noivern finishes off the bird, the Charizard attempts to close in on it, a Dragon Claw aimed at raking its wings.

In this moment, Matias Silph might get a good look at the Mad Dog's face, albeit deprived of his well-known scar.

It was true, Dorian was enjoying pressing the woman's buttons. The sheer delusion coming from her was always hilarious to the Mad Dog, even if their previous encounter earned his respect. The remark about her appeal finally caused him to burst out laughing. "If you're so desperate, just be honest. I'm flattered, but I'm a happily taken man.", Dorian remarked, still being playful.

Dorian rolled his eyes as she remarked about going off on instinct.

The Mad Dog picked up on the scent of sulfur, before Xenon tossed the torch down the corridor. "Not bad.", Dorian remarked.

Dream Mist began to spawn more Pokemon around them. This time, a Slither Wing would be the first to emerge from the Mist. Dorian, in turn, brought out a Raboot to attack the Paradox Pokemon. While the bunny charged the bug with a Headbutt, his Infernape ran up the wall, before kicking off of it, and in a display of impressive Acrobatics, kicked at the Slither Wing.

Burny Birdy, upon seeing the Dragon Pulse sailing towards her master, dived towards it, taking the attack head on. The attack was more than enough to knock her out.

Dorian recalled the bird, before she could fall into the sea. In her place, Dorian brought out a Corvisquire stolen from another trainer. The stolen bird was sent down to attack Matias with a Drill Peck. Following up on this, the Charizard attacked Matias, and his team, with a Rock Slide.

"Die, scum!", Dorian bellowed out.

For someone like Dorian to consider mercy would've been seen as odd. Despite his dislike of idealists in Rocket, he felt they had their place outside of the organization. Useful idiots to be riled up by their plants in the community, universities, among other places. Potential martyrs that civilians could rally behind, should the League mishandle them.

As for those he filtered at the gates, he'd advocate for a simple memory wipe, to prevent them from talking about what little they saw.

"Me? I was just another street punk in Orre. Was a member of a smalltime gang operating in Pyrite Town from the age of eleven, until I was twenty, when we got wiped out. I managed to stow away on a freighter, which landed in Vermillion. It was there that THEO BECKETT found me, and brought me in.", he'd tell Lulu.

He had come to be familiar with Lulu's past as a Moto Dragon. After all, it was he who saved her from their misplaced retribution. Not that he was too stingy about his own background.

"If you don't mind me asking, what brought you into the Moto Dragons?", he'd inquire.
