With a grin, Dorian took his seats at one of the slot machines. A group of young gamblers stormed off, clearly angered by their lack of fortune. What they suspected, but couldn't confirm, was that the games were rigged.

"Good luck with that. Can't win a damn thing out of the stupid machines.", one of the gamblers grumbled.

"Watch me.", Dorian told them, before taking his seat at the machine.

The first five plays were all flukes. Despite this, Dorian kept his cool.

"See, I told you!", the gambler interjected.

With this sixth play, Dorian managed to insert the special token among the ones inserted. Dorian pulled the lever. With three careful pulls, Dorian managed to line up three sevens. Jackpot!

"What the!? You actually did it!?", the gambler sputtered in disbelief.

"Got lucky. It was bound to happen sometime. After all, they say most gamblers quit before hitting their jackpot.", Dorian replied, as he collected the tokens into his case.

As Dorian walked away, the once disgruntled group of gamblers immediately took to different machines. The group felt that if the foreign man won, they could win as well.

While Dorian ended up taking money from the gambling den, he knew they'd more than make his cut back from fleecing the foolish gamblers.

It had been years since Dorian was this nervous.

Today, Dorian was dressed to the nines in a dapper black suit. Chu-e Choi stood at his side, his choice in best man. The Mad Dog waited in anticipation down the aisle. Today was the big day, the day where Marionette would finally be his wife. The day that they would officially become one big, happy family.

In attendance were the many loyal men and women Dorian had bonded with over the years. Takashi and Ogita sat in attendance. Among the guests of honor were the entirety of the Rocket Brass, including Cillian, Elizabeth, Theo, and Declan Walsh, as the guest of honor.

Finally, after what felt like an agonizing eternity of waiting, Marionette walked down the aisle, her father at her side. Dorian took in the sight of the beauty, the wedding dress being more breathtaking than he could've imagined.

As she stood next to Dorian, the Mad Dog gazed into her eyes lovingly.

After taking their vows, they were pronounced husband and wife. Dorian eagerly sealed the deal with a loving, passionate kiss.

Dorian would enjoy the day they had together. Though he never imagined that his life would end up like this, there was no doubt that he felt that he had achieved a good ending.

The ending where he, Marionette, and Demetrius, would stand atop the world.

One of the officers began to collect the Pokeballs, inspecting each of them. The female of the group patted the girl down for any concealed weapons. After her search, she would attempt to cuff the girl's hands behind her back.

"Don't act innocent with us! We know you stole that Kirlia!", one of the officers barked at her.

The female officer pulled Anahel to her feet, before escorting her to a paddy wagon.

During the brief trek over to the van, Anahel would spot someone filming the arrest on their phone. One of the male officers stormed over to the young man.

"Get that fucking camera out of my face!", the officer barked, smacking the phone out of his hand, before shoving the young man to the ground, aggressively kicking him while he was down.

"Watch your step.", the woman cautioned Anahel, as they stepped into the wagon. After seating Anahel, the officer closed the doors, leaving Anahel and the officers alone in the windowless wagon.

The other male officer would calm his partner down, prompting the pair to get into the cab of the wagon, with their arrest in tow.

After a short drive, they'd arrive at their destination. The two men would open the wagon doors, the sight of a parking garage greeting the two. The female officer would help Anahel out of the wagon, before escorting her to an interrogation room.

"Yes, among the damage done during the raid, someone broke into your home. After investigating, we believe it was none other than that traitorous cur, Remiel Calcifet.", Dorian would tell her.

Dorian pulled out a recently opened pack of cigarettes. Before taking one of his own, he would offer Lulu a cigarette, as well as a light. Whether or not she'd take it, Dorian would light one up for himself.

"It all started with the capture of a former Elite Four, Thomas Benoit. An affiliated bounty hunter managed to hand him off to us, in chains. Turns out, this was a part of his plan. He managed to break out of the cell our boys threw him in, having found a way to smuggle a full team of Pokemon in with him. After that, he went on a rampage through the jail, releasing prisoners along the way.", he'd begin.

"This was all to divert our response teams from the transport taking Elinor Anderson to the Submarine. A small team, including Laurence Anderson and John Sullivan, attacked the transport, escaping with the prisoners on board, including the Councilwoman. I was among those attempting to stop the attack, only to nearly fall to Sullivan.", he'd reveal to her.

"It's also how I lost my scar. In the course of the battle, we were caught in an explosion. Most of my face was blown off. Sullivan used his powers as Tapu Lele's Avatar to restore my face, before attempting to make an arrest. Smoochie Duckie evolved into a Magmortar, and saved me from that fate, however.", he'd continue.

His voice was full of regret. The Mad Dog took a long drag off of his cigarette, before exhaling to the side, away from Lulu.

To little surprise, the Drain Punch had little to sap from the already weakened Pyroar. Unfortunately for the Incineroar, he'd have little time to relish his victory, as a berserk Manectric pounced on him, engulfing him in a strange, painful attack.

The Incineroar yowled in agony, before falling unconscious to the Shadow Bolt.

"You holier-than-thou League cretins are all the same! You speak of justice, only to do whatever you want! At least I'm honest about what I am!", Dorian ranted at the younger man, as he attempted to recall his Incineroar.

Suddenly, a supernatural force overtook him. "Let's see how you enjoy life without the coordination needed to ride your precious Pokemon!", Dorian proclaimed, his voice being mixed in with some ethereal force.

This force would proceed to curse Josh with clumsiness.

With Demetrius tucked into bed, Dorian turned to his girlfriend. The man smiled at her gently, walking out of the room with her.

The two of them began to kiss, Marionette pressing him up against the wall, their lips locking, their bodies pressed closely against one another.

As Marionette pulled away, a saliva trail formed a sagging bridge between their sets of lips. Eyes were locked longingly onto one another's.

"Oh Mari, there's somewhere I want to take you.", he told the lovely scientist.

"What about Demetrius, Bug?", Mari asked.

"Sir Fluffsworth Hotman will keep watch over him, won't you, big guy?", Dorian asked her, going over to affectionately scratch behind the ears of the fiery lion. The beast let out an affectionate growl, licking Dorian's hand.

"I promise, this will be quick.", he'd tell Mari, heading out the door with the love of his life.

Rather than driving, or walking, Dorian would sprout flaming wings from his back. One of the many boons of his partnership with Moltres. Gently taking Mari into his arms, he'd take flight.

The two lovebirds would enjoy the bird's eye view afforded by his new capacity for flight. Eventually, they'd land at a familiar location.

"So why'd you bring me here, Bug?", Mari inquired.

Dorian would get on one knee, pulling out a small box. "Oh Mari, will you marry me?", Dorian asked her.

Marionette was taken aback by the request. Dorian, for years, hesitated to ask, due to her own bad history with marriage. But Dorian had not been like the man she was previously stuck with. Even in their worst arguments, he'd never lay a hand on her, never try to hurt her. And he usually felt he had a good reason to argue with her.

Finally, Mari accepted tearfully. Dorian slid the ring onto her finger gingerly, before coming up, and wrapping his arms around her waist. As her arms wrapped around his neck, Dorian hoisted her up, embracing and kissing the love of his life.

Upon completing training with Cillian Quinn, Dorian returned home. In order not to arouse suspicion, Dorian flew on the back of his Charizard, Flaming Lizzy. Upon landing, Dorian gave the flying lizard an affectionate scratch on the head, before recalling her.

"Daddy!", a familiar voice called out. A young boy rushed over to the man, arms outstretched. Dorian crouched down, catching the boy in his arms, picking him up, and lifting him skyward, before pulling him in for a warm hug.

"Demetrius! Daddy missed you!", Dorian told the boy, not wanting to let go.

A purple-haired woman walked out after them, wrapping her arms around the two. Dorian would take one arm, and wrap it around the woman's waist.

"Welcome home, bug.", the woman affectionately greeted him, before giving him a peck on the cheek.

"Mari, I'm so glad to be home. Glad to be with the two most important people of my life.", Dorian cooed at them, not wanting the hug to end.

Eventually, Dorian and his family walked back into the house. After eating the meal Mari had prepared for them, the three decided to watch a movie together. For the night, Dorian was no longer the Mad Dog that terrorized those who acted against Rocket. Tonight, he was the loving boyfriend, and doting father. A true family man, as he always wanted.

Dorian grunted in annoyance as the girl brought up her Special Shield. If she wanted to make this harder, then he'd gladly oblidge.

The Rapidash prepared himself for the oncoming Dragon Claw, only to be faked out. All he could do was buck his rider off for what was to come, getting him to the ground, and allowing him to cover his ears, before the Boomburst consumed the area.

In the aftermath of the attack, Dorian's ears were left violently ringing. His Magmortar was brought down, and his Rapidash wasn't doing much better. The Mad Dog recalled both, sending in a Gliscor and a Houndoom in their places.

The Houndoom bellowed out a thick blanket of Smog, attempting to create cover for the Gliscor to lunge towards the Yanmega with Acrobatics.

Dorian scowled in pure annoyance as the Vibrava took the Dragon Claw for its master. The Bug Buzz only served to annoy the flying lizard, who attempted to finish off the insectoid dragon with another vicious Dragon Claw.

The Tailwind is disrupted by the Staraptor's Whirlwind. Undeterred by this, the Talonflame began to flap her wings rapidly, whipping up a Razor Wind.

"You're gonna die for everything!", Dorian spat at the Elite Four member.

So the overgrown rat with wings decided to save her trainer? Fascinating, but not good enough. Much to the annoyance of Dorian, the girl decided to start zigzagging through the air. He figured that the girl was going to try to use hit and run tactics.

"How adorable.", remarked the Mad Dog condescendingly.

The Charizard would bellow out a thin layer of Smokescreen. Though the attack wouldn't hamper the Keen Eye of the Pidgeot, the disturbances in the thin smokescreen would make it easier to identify where the Pidgeot was flying.

Dorian glared at the man on the other side. "You know nothing about me, boy! You don't think I recognize that my actions are 'wrong'!? I just don't care! Because Rocket will redefine was is right and wrong! I DO feel remorse for betraying Eris' wishes! And I live with the consequences of standing with Rocket every day! I welcome them!", Dorian ranted at the Gym Leader.

In the process of his rant, Dorian revealed one key detail. That Eris Halla didn't want Dorian to attack the Gym. Made that explicitly clear, when he went to visit her afterwards.

The deafeniong roar caused Dorian to clasp his hands over his ears, and for his two combatants to reel back in agony. The ensuing Discharge caused Dorian to fall off the back of his Charizard. It was the Incineroar who hastily caught the Mad Dog, barely recovering from the attack in time.

After unleashing the Dragon Pulse at the Manectric, only for the Pyroar to take the hit, the Charizard fell. Dorian hastily recalled her back to her Pokeball, before she could land. In her place, Dorian brought out Sir Fluffsworth Hotman, his own Pyroar.

The Incineroar, on the brink of collapse, but still defiant, angrily lunged at the Pyroar, fist cocked back for another Drain Punch. Meanwhile, the Pyroar let out an ear-piercing roar of his own, with the aid of his Hyper Voice. The soundwaves threatened to consume both combatants on the Gym Leader's side.
