Honestly, he had no right being in this city; Kouji understood that. It was the very first time he had ever been here, with the thought he had in mind, with what it represented, with what he held?

He knew it was a mistake.

It wasn’t a mission, he hadn’t received any orders, but he was here for nothing but violence. Only made worse by the fact it was on one of the couple of people he considered a friend, even if he would have denied it aloud.

Being lost was one thing, he had spent ages, a long time just wandering, a day even. But to this extent, the old place was one, but he hadn’t heard anything, he had talked around, spoken to people, and even just sat around.

Kouji wasn’t sure when the last time he had seen @tempest was, in reality it was a simple span of a week, and yet at the same time it had been decades. Time was strange, and that dream even more so. Yet he couldn’t muster the usual excitement that came with seeing his buddy.

It was obvious why, but he didn’t want to think about it too much. But then again, this was the best place to be, the training room on the sub. It was a large room, mats placed across the ground. ”Thought I’d catch you here.”

There was some energy he managed to push into it. ”How about that spar we promised each other? I’m not in a cast this time.” The smirk on his face faded just as quickly as it had arrived.

In all truth, Kouji had never really thought about it; taking up some higher position. That was a want of recognition, and he didn’t seek such things. For him Rocket was simply a way of life, it was the thing he wanted, and he had reached that dream when he had gotten to join. Yet, the pit of bitterness that was the result of his time in that dream wouldn’t go away so quickly, to be left behind, to be tortured, to be broken.

Kaname Fujihara, one of the first people he had met in rocket, perhaps his first ally in this group, and yet his feelings on this man were complicated.

Kouji raised an eyebrow as Tyranitar roared with fury, powerful rocks were sent up into the air. ”It’s fine, we’ll just take the not-crushed ones back, if they’re that fragile we won’t want them, well I won’t.” But then again like he had said a few times already, he hated bugs.

He opted to ignore the mocking comment, his golden eyes were fixed onto the Vespiquen, tried to motivate his Tyranitar. ”I’ll let ya eat all the meat you want today, on that silver guy’s tab.” He said as he thought of the deal he had with Amor Rose, free food for a certain amount of time was a deal he would not be passing up on, and he’d leverage it even here.

The barrier cracked, the pressure of a glare let-up, but that wasn’t the end of it all, there was something else. ”Shit.” Even if that pressure let up, it was only a moment’s respite before the ground exploded upwards, Kouji himself had gotten caught up in the blast and knocked backwards; he was at the periphery but it was enough to cause him to roll backwards, air knocked out of his chest.

It was Mewoscarada that had borne the brunt of that strike, lashed out, held down, and crashed against by the attack itself, the pokemon was immediately knocked out.
