Camellia sat in the audience, her ears plugged given the warning that the performer had given to the crowd moments before. Her hearing was quite important to her work. It'd be quite a shame to lose it.[break][break]

She could see that the trainer was speaking to her Pokemon, and while she was good at reading lips, she was too far to make out what exactly she was saying to them. This was supposed to be a show about this Shalin Nariya's SYGNA SUIT, wasn't it?[break][break]

Wouldn't it be thrilling to see something like that fail?[break][break]

However, she sat back and watched as the woman turned a bright green, having to shield her eyes as the streak grew brighter.[break][break]

Camellia was back at the carnival grounds. It was a bit of a shock to her how many times she'd come to the fair grounds. However, this time was a bit different. While modeling as a civilian, she was also on the lookout for an individual who was supposed to be present in Rustboro today.[break][break]

A man from the Kalosian region who had a rather large target on his head: Antoine Dumont.[break][break]

It was a bold move for him to step foot in public, but it was also smart of him to come to such a crowded place. He had a few other individuals with him as well, as well as a child. She could only assume that she was his daughter.[break][break]

A shame, really. But it wasn't the first time Camellia was apart of a plot to tear a family to shreds.[break][break]

She wasn't there to strike just yet. She was merely observing, collecting intel on him and how he acted. It would serve her well to gather insight for her attack later.[break][break]

That was how she found herself in line for the merry-go-round, with her arms crossed over her chest. Though her attention was pulled away as a familiar head appeared in her view.[break][break]

"Devlin. Fancy meeting you here," Camellia said, offering a polite wave.

An unamused look rested on Camellia's lips, her arms coming to cross over her chest. This individual was either a smart ass...[break][break]

Or completely and utterly stupid.[break][break]

She wasn't quite sure what category she'd put them in yet. A small voice in her brain told her that perhaps, while they were there and no one was around, they could go ahead and eliminate them. It was handle interruptions down the line as she continued to explore.[break][break]

Her hands uncrossed from her chest, her right inching lower to a hunting dagger resting at her thigh. However, as their attention turned back to her, she stopped.[break][break]

"I'm not lost," Camellia offered as an answer, her RUNERIGUS groaning ghastly behind her.

Camellia allowed a smirk to rest on her lips. "Some fine wine? Give me a moment to grab one that might fit your taste." She disappeared from the bar for a moment, looking through the stock of wine until she selected one that she thought might do.[break][break]

Pulling a wine glass from beneath the counter, she poured a glass, extending it to him. "Pinot blanc, from Anistar, Kalos. It's a sweet, white wine, and you may experience some other hinted fruit flavors blended in as well," she explained.[break][break]

She couldn't help a small laugh that rose from her throat. "That's kind of you to be concerned. I can handle things, though. Nick caused a ruckus last time he was here, but I believe he's learned his lesson."[break][break]

Camellia's eyes cut across to the man sipping away at his beer, now accompanied by someone else.[break][break]

Nonalcoholic was a rarity in the bar. The last time Camellia recalled serving a virgin cocktail or a mocktail was when dorian westcliff had opened the establishment to the people of Hoenn to survive the heat wave. Even little kids were running up to her at the bar asking for juice.[break][break]

Still, it wasn't Camellia's place to judge. She nodded. "I have an idea for something you might like, if you want fruity. Give me a few minutes."[break][break]

She didn't stray far, grabbing several juices: lemon, orange, and pineapple juices. Grenadine for sweetness and added color, and... there it was. The ginger ale. With her clean cocktail shaker, she combined her ingredients with some ice before pouring it into a glass.[break][break]

"Cherry or no?" Once she received the answer, the drink was placed in front of her. "If it needs more sweetening, let me know. I can add more grenadine."[break][break]

Camellia listened to the poor girl's woes, getting back to cleaning her equipment. "It sounds like it's been quite the rough day, as well as strenuous. But I don't think we typically get fake orders here. I believe most of the individuals we buy our stock from are good sources."[break][break]

Her attention drew back to the girl. She seemed pretty innocent. "Then, why do you do it? For money? For your happiness?"

An outburst of laughter released from her lips. "You wish."[break][break]

Camellia did not hold Victoria Beckett's hand. It took more than dropping from up high to make her shake in her boots. Though, it seemed the poor souls who thought that the ride would be a great idea found out that this was not the ride for them.[break][break]

She caught a glance of Tori raising her hands up, and she did the same as the ride dropped a few more times.[break][break]

The ground felt a bit foreign when her shoes hit the metal platform, taking a second for the blood to rush back to the right places, before she followed her company off the ride. The corndog offered was taken with a small nod.[break][break]

"It was fun. The festivals in Kalos didn't have anything like this there. Maybe they should." Camellia dressed her snack with one of the condiments nearby, taking a bite.[break][break]

Camellia approached the water, clad in diving gear. She wasn't exactly sure what she hoped to get out of this. Maybe she'd find something interesting in the sands below. A person, deceased and lost to time? Perhaps their possessions were still out there.[break][break]

It was a fabled desired. Oh, well. Regardless, she dove in headfirst, diving into the waters and scavenging below for her treasure.

MASK MAKING (CARNIVAL)

INSPIRED POKEMON: RUNERIGUS[break]
INSPIRED TYPE: ghost[break][break]

Camellia's mask heavily mimics that of her Pokemon, Anais, the RUNERIGUS. While the mask fits her face perfectly and removes the oblong features that the Pokemon displays, the detailing on it is almost all of the same. The line for her mouth is the smiling teeth of the snake-like feature on the stoned-body, painted in red ink.[break][break]

She also captured the snake-like form across the mask in its entirety. However, instead of one eye, she gave it two. The sockets are outlined in black, and a bright, glowing purple paint gives the effect that a ghostly power is haunting the mask.[break][break]

Camellia also attached black silk to mimic the arms of the RUNERIGUS along the mask, to add to its haunted feeling.

The crowd was chattering loudly before the performance started, idly talking about the carnival, the rides they have ridden, the upcoming show... some individuals commented on the heat of the day, a few fanning themselves while complaining, "Why are we having these activities in the summer heat?"[break][break]

She slipped into the stands, a silent figure taking a seat at the top of the nosebleeds. And even as the masses continued to endlessly chatter like a crowd of STARLY, she stayed silent.[break][break]

It wasn't until the show began did they fall into a hush, though they occasionally grew into roars of applause and laughter throughout the entirety of it.[break][break]

Camellia was as stone-faced as ever, only clapping when necessary.[break][break]

And when the performance concluded, she waited as the crowd cleared. However, she realized she wasn't alone in doing so.
