Zachary pondered that silently. So THAT is why Dizzy transformed there. The area must of allowed him to do so when our backs were against the wall , but even so... he wondered, and looked at the Tera Orb. [break][break] It was then that Josh stepped up to show off what he achieved via it. For Zachary this was his first time learning about Terrastellization and here was Josh busting out something cooler. In a matter of seconds, his Gogoat suddenly was surrounded in crystals, coming out of nowhere! It was just like when the ruby crystals encased Dizzy and caused him to transform. This one, seemed even more advance, encompassing multiple types. Zachary was in awe of this, as was Dizzy seeing the crown of multiple symbols hover around its head. [break][break] Professor Yew was very curious as she approached and looked over the goat, seeing its now prismatic appearance and crown. "Facinating... the Stellar element. From what we have discovered thus far, this phanominon comes from an extra factor among Terrastellar Phanomoinon. We unfortunately do not know its origin, but only comes from when a Pokemon have met certain ... conditions. And not all Pokemon can achieve this level of Terrastellar transformation. But it does hold domination over the other tera types. How-- we have yet to find out. Which is why studies into Area Zero are so important." Professor Yew explained as she looked over the pokemon. As she did, she looked to Josh. "I would love to take a blood sample for further study...?" she asked-- which probably would be answered with a no. [break][break] Impressive as that was, Zachary felt a bit put down now. He had no clue how to even make Dizzy transform into his previous form-- let alone the Stellar Form that Josh had achieved. Just another thing the gym leader had going for him. [break][break] Returning her gaze back to Zachary and his Delphox, Prof. Yew smiled. "But let's not forget you to give it a try, now shall we? With that sphere, you can gather what 'tera energy' is around us , even if it is small and it will refract and amplify in the orb. That will allow your Delphox to Terrastellize like he did before. Give it a try, " she encouraged to Zachary. [break][break] Zachary paused as he looked to Dizzy. With the explanation clear, Dizzy took a few steps out into the laboratory, waiting for Zachary to do what he needed to. Zachary held up the Tera Orb and squeezed it, hoping to activate it. He shook it a couple of times-- but nothing happened. There was no reaction. A look of frustration crossed Zachary's face, unsure what to do. "Um... what exactly do I have to do?" he asked, shaking the orb a bit to provoke a response. It was like holding a rock. [break][break] Prof. Yew crossed her arms against her chest as she looked on. "The Tera Orb responds to the emotion and thoughts of the trainer holding it. Or rather, their imagination. " she explained as best as she could. "Try to picture what happened before when he first transform, or even imagining your Pokemon in a battle and the excitement of evoking this power in him. Even with your Pokemon possessing a Tera Type , your will is the only thing that can make it transform outside of Area Zero now. " she explained. [break][break] Zachary listened and thought as he looked at the orb in his hand. He soon closed his eyes and pictured it. "My imagination..." he hummed, and thought. The truth was, Zachary possessed a great imagination and exercised it every day. There were few others more so than him. So he thought of Dizzy, how amazing he was, using fire and psychic power. Their past battles and adventures. He then remembered the Tarot Cards-- that fateful day when he found the cards in that shop, given to him by that gypsy owner. And he remembered seeing the Delphox-- Dizzy among the cards as the first one of the arcana. [break][break] A breath escaped him as he still had his eyes closed. "The Magician..." he spoke softly. [break][break] A buzz of energy suddenly reached his ears and he opened his eyes. A swirl of multi-colored energy seemed to surround him, and drawn into the Tera Orb. As it did, in small bits, the lights soon gathered, forming the Tera symbol and the parts of his Tera Orb glowing a brilliant blue. [break][break]Seeing him draw out the power, Prof. Yew smiled. "Now, throw it at your pokemon and watch!" she urged. [break][break] As the orb now hummed with the building Tera Energy, Zachary turned to Dizzy and then threw the orb over his head. [break][break] As the orb descended close-- it flashed with that same symbol that Josh's Gogoat possessed from his crown. Dizzy stood still as he felt the energy reach him-- and soon rubies suddenly appeared to encase the Delphox. After a few moments-- the crystals shattered with a cry from Dizzy-- revealing him transformed. Dizzy now was glittering with a prismatic membrane over his body and fur, sparkling like the same rubies around him. And what didn't occur before-- was now over his head, a strange 'crown' that looked like a candle chandelier hovered over his head. [break][break] Prof. Yew applaud, both in courtacy and the joy to see a trainer embrace Terastellization. "Congradulations. You can now wield the power of Terrastellar Phanominon at will. We still have much to learn about this new method of power, but we hope it will lead us to bold new discoveries, perhaps even as your Gogoat demonstrates, paths that leads to the origins of this power." Prof. Yew explained. All the while, Dizzy, while not as impressive as "Nitro" , stood there shimmering with red brilliance and a fiery aura, sparkling like he was a super-rare card from a trading card game. [break][break] Zachary's face lit up with excitement. "Wow, Dizzy! You're amazing! You're super-foil ultra rare again!" he exclaimed. [break][break] Dizzy, in his altered state, frowned at the trading card nerdy reference. Still, his very form brimmed with power, in no small part due to the tie into his natural fire-powers. [break][break]

The growls of both beasts felt just as hot as Gourging Fire's flames. He kept his arms to his side, his head steady and did his best not to show any sign of flinching or defensiveness. Any hint would spur their attack. Happy still kept close to Zachary, the little mime determined to protect Zachary. However, after a long pause... the tension began to die as the heat went down and the crackle of electricity too lessened. Hostility became curiosity as the lion-like one let out a grunt of acceptance. [break][break] The tall one, Raging Bolt, craned his long neck down so it could get a better look at Zachary. His mane barely covered the teeth the tiger-like Pokemon had . Zachary remembered the stories of these three in Jhoto. These were either their ancestors, or dobblegangers from another universe. Still, he appealed to their honor and respect. The big Raging Bolt sniffed Zachary, his breath causing his hair to waft. Happy next to him cringed at the giant beast. [break][break] Finally... Raging Bolt bumped his head against Zachary-- a sign of respect to the brave boy. Raging Bolt's rage seised too, as he took let out a mild growl of respect to him. [break][break] With the bump of Raging Bolt's head, Zachary's stance did waver-- and a card fell out from his pocket. One of his Tarot cards, showing-- The Tower. An omen, or a blessing? No one could tell. Zachary didn't even acknowledge it. He was transfixed on the now majestic beast before him. "It's okay... Good boy... " Zachary said softly as he dared to reach up with an open, extended hand. All the while as the Raging Bolt sniffed him, he reached past his cloud-like mane, and placed a hand on the beast's face. [break][break] It may of been the 'flirting with danger' but Zachary felt a small jolt in his body-- a surge. More likely, the excitement of being so close to a mythical pokemon of all things and earning its trust. [break][break] From the back with Elise, Dizzy had a wide-slack-jaw look on his face, the fox surprised his trainer quelled the beasts' anger. A heavy sigh escaped the fox. "Mrrrrrrr...." Dizzy whined, having been worried for his trainer and his sometimes blind kindness. [break][break]

Dizzy gave an embarrassed bark as he gave a smirk on his foxish-face. Zachary shook his head and chuckled. "Thanks. It's been a good few years to have him grow up, and all before I became a real trainer," Zachary said modestly. [break][break] A restaurant owner was a cool thing, for sure. Zachary fancied himself an amateur cook himself, enough to feed himself, treat family and friends-- and of course know how to serve his pokemon a good meal. [break][break] As Pansear began to warm up to Dizzy, the fox greeted too-- the two exchanging some vocal calls to converse. However-- the big one was Dizzy's stomach suddenly growling, perhaps at the mention of a restaurant. [break][break] "Really? I should go there sometime. What kind of --" [break][break] Zachary was interrupted by the call of a bird stole his attention. He looked up into a nearby tree as the flap of small wings caught his attention. There, in the tree, was a bird Pokemon he quickly recognized! He had not seen one since he grew up in Johto! A Hoothoot! The funny looking bird was perched on a nearby branch in a tree, taking in the scene, minding its own business. [break][break] Zachary's eyes widened with interest. "Oh wow! A Hoothoot! I been wanting to find one!" Zachary said, mesmerized by the 'mystery' the little bird had. An owl like that, and what it became when it evolved. While some called it simple, Zachary saw mystique in it. [break][break] "Maybe I can get closer." he thought aloud. He wasn't trying to ignore Wendy-- but it was clear this was a Pokemon Zachary really wanted. [break][break] Dizzy continued to watch, while hungry, to see Zachary approach the tree the Hoothoot was in. The boy dug through his pack, soon finding a granola bar, figuring he could try to feed the owl to keep it from flying away. [break][break] Dizzy watched as his trainer began to climb up the tree, slowly reaching the branch. [break][break] The fox soon signed and shook his head, embarrassed by Zachary's over-eagerness to try and converse with the bird. [break][break] But what the fox didn't know, and Zachary did-- was that Hoothoots and others of its species, were incredibly intelligent. A Pokemon worthy of a Psychic trainer, especially for the wide range of psychic moves it was known to know. [break][break]

The bark form Dizzy soon snapped Zachary out of his dreamy state. He blinked, realizing they were not in the best place to discuss things! He didn't mean to loose track, but he knew that the claw marks there were not something to ignore. who knew what lurked there. [break][break] "Eh... maybe we should consider talking about this back at the camp," Zachary said with a nervous laugh. Zachary then examined the markings. He had seen them before. They were the same markings all over the inner cavern. He was very certain they were from the Same Beast. With that into his notes, along with the details of the crystal formations-- perhaps it was a good time to call it quits. [break][break] "I'm glad I met you down here. Let's head back. I can even have us Teleport back if you want, but I rather keep their energy full in the event we need it." Zachary offered, and soon left to turn back with Johanna. At least he got to meet another person who was part of the exhibition party. He was making new contacts and friends very quickly in his time new to Hoenn. [break][break] [break][break]

The Light Screen had protected them, thanks to Happy's quick wit. And Dizzy was the strongest pokemon Zachary had to offer. But these were not opponents or challengers. They were forces of legends. Forces of nature itself that they were up against. Zachary grimaced, hoping for a way to diffuse this situation. The more he saw Gourging Fire and Raging Bolt-- he only knew so much of why they were acting out like this. Dominance? Aggression? But perhaps... Fear. They were loss, and out of their world? [break][break] Elise's ice attacks were strong but Gourging Fire was making it difficult as its very heat melted the ice around it, and Raging Bolt would attack them. THis had to end. This was a constant battle with these two beautiful creatures. In the end, they were no different than any other Pokemon. [break][break] "Elise-- do you think these creatures are violent by nature? " he asked. A part of him felt for these beasts. They couldn't of been just hungry monsters. They were very likely afraid and lost. In need of a home. [break][break] "Happy, keep close to me, okay?" Zachary urged-- and against all reason, and acted on faith-- Zachary stepped forward into the area of the battlefield. [break][break] Dizzy gave a loud, angry bark at Zachary-- trying to tell him to come back, but Zachary didn't. At least with Happy there, the Mime Jr could defend him, but this was just crazy! Elise would see Dizzy loosing his cool, trying to keep his trainer from approaching the dangerous ancient pokemon. [break][break] It took all of Zachary's restraint to not show fear as he slowly stepped forward, step by step. As he did, both the two Pokemon growled at his approach. "I'm sorry. I know you both been through a lot, especially you--" Zachary directed at Gorguing FIre, after their last encounter when Ozni pissed him off. "you been hurt and lost all this time. But... we are not your enemies. We don't want to fight you. So please, stop. " [break][break] The heat of Goruging Fire still rose as his 'crown' glowed red hot. Raging Bolt crackled with lightning, revealing the 'cloud like' mane of its fur to reveal its long head, and sharp maw of teeth-- roaring down at Zachary. [break][break] Happy clung to Zachary's leg in mild fright, and Zachary flinched but didn't move there. Despite it, he opened his eyes again and looked up to the long-necked lightning dragon. "Please... I didn't come here to fight. I came here to explore. To see new things... and maybe make new friends, with amazing Pokemon like you. So please, let's not fight anymore. You got nothing to be afraid of from us." Zachary said. [break][break] IN a bold move, Zachary extended an open hand out to them, showing his trust. [break][break]Back with Elise, Dizzy was now in a tizzy-- hopping mad with fire to see his trainer being so stupidly trusting of savage, dangerous Pokemon. He looked to Elise, wondered if she could save his trainer. [break][break] However... the dinosaur-like Pokemon seemed to pause. They stopped attacking, as Zachary stood before them. [break][break]

It was insanity. First giant moths and butterflies-- and now vicious little creatures with sharp razor claws. Zachary was uneased by them, eating all this poisonous mouchi-- and now attacking strangers for no reason. Zachary and Dizzy stood before it all, as the Sneasels were in a full berserk state. [break][break] "This is insane. If this goes on, they will really hurt someone." Zachary told Dizzy-- whom nodded in agreement. The Sneazel soon took notice to Zachary and his Delphox, beginning to charge in. Despite their number, Zachary felt confident in their abilities to subdue them. [break][break] As the Sneaslers came running-- Dizzy's eyes glared at them. With a fox's cry, sparks of psychic power formed around him. "PSYSHOCK NOW!" Zachary urged. With his words, Dizzy released a barrage of psychic sparks that flew all over the Jagged Pass. The barrage of psychic explosions caused chaos among the rampaging Sneaslers. Among their chaos, Zachary was not about to let them rally back up. [break][break] "Alright, Dizzy. Now use Psychic!" Dizzy's response was his eyes glowing with a psychic light. Any remaining Sneaslers glowed-- caught in the fox's telekinetic grip. With a shove of his paw, Dizzy sent them flying-- repelling them and detering them away from their rampage. [break][break] The psychic fox and the psychic trainer held their own, determine to do their part to stop this outbreak of poison taking grip over their new home. [break][break][break][break]

The fight was a flurry of attacks. Even with them outnumbering the little legendary pokemon, it was still strong against them. No matter what they did, it wasn't going down easily. [break][break] From his perch on the Magic Room's Boxes-- Zachary observed it, but he had nothing he could do more than put his trust in his Pokemon. Kadabra had done well resorting to his Shadow Ball that Zachary helped him learned-- but it seemed Ghost-type attacks were not getting through. It was now or never as Arron gave his shout. [break][break] Zachary gritted his teeth and turned to Dizzy. "Dizzy-- Give it all you got! Psychic now!" Zachary cried. [break][break] FOregoing his fire attacks-- Dizzy used his own Psychic Power. At the same time, so did Psychic. A double-psychic attack, now driven as Victini suddenly released a V-flare attack of its own. However-- an invisible force stopped it. Now aglow in the two's unique aura of psychic control, it was pushing the fire back. Though Zachary gave no order, their connection and the urgency they had to protect their friends-- made them cooperate. [break][break] Victini saw the massive V-shaped fireball start to recede as more of Arrons attacks start to converge...[break][break] And then it happened. [break][break] Prophet the Xatu kicked in, spreading his wings wide in mid air-- as a swirling cloud appeared above Victini. Future Sight went off-- and in the form of a multi-colored, several strikes of lightning that rained down on Victini-- delivering a powerful blow enough to weaken its control-- and its fire backfiring on it. [break][break]

The tension of the space soon began to melt-- even with the danger of this place. Of course then came the mention she was a former gym leader. [break][break] The silence here was pretty palpable, as Dizzy too took a step back, wondering what Zachary was thinking. And then it came. [break][break] "Wait-- YOU'RE A FORMER GYM LEADER?!" Zachary shouted, loud enough to cause an echo. [break][break] His eyes almost sparkled with excitement, as she didn't know Zachary's desire was to become a Gym Leader himself. He was on the league circuit now to garner experience and collect more Pokemon to help him-- and of course serve the league. But ultimately, his biggest dream was to be a gym leader. He didn't think he would meet any in Area Zero, even one who was former. "Wow! That is so cool!" He said with excitement. [break][break] "Grrrrmmmm...." Dizzy the Delphox gave a heavy sigh as he shrugged his shoulders and raised his arms, as if to say 'here he goes again...'. [break][break] Zachary regained some composure and soon extended a hand. "Well It's a pleasure to run into you down here. I hope to one day become a full-fledge Gym Leader myself. I'd love the opportunity to do what you did. I honestly been running into a couple of them without knowing it. Do you know Josh Devlin?" Zachary asked, wondering if they knew each other like Elise Calcifet did. [break][break] [break][break]

It was official-- the beasts of legends were out for blood and vengeance. Zachary felt frozen for a moment-- before Elise did the amazing. She used an impressive display of Dazzling Gleamc-- commanded by her special Rapidash of all things. The legendary Pokemon with her, specifically her Charles-- used a form of psychic that was nothing short of impressive. Zachary was in awe with the power they had-- or perhaps the technique they clearly trained to use it. [break][break] It was impressive-- but now the attacks were now earned the ire of the legendary beasts! A loud, thunderous roar came from Gourging Fire-- the heat of the air rising with its temper. The ice used against it would melt within seconds. [break][break] "We are in deep sh--" The crack of thunder interrupted Zachary. It seemed the heat of Gorguing Fire didn't nearly make things hotter, it caused a change in barometric pressure. In short, Raging Bolt's electricity began to surge even stronger. It was if the very air around them had begun to electrify. Aka-- Electric Terrain. And now, the beast soon roared out loud, raising its long and tall head to the ceiling! [break][break] Rising Voltage began to build-- and soon, it released full force against the humans and their pokemon. [break][break] "Happy!!" Zachary cried-- and the Mime Jr didn't hesitate by jumping forward. With a raise of its little arms, a flash of rainbow-like light shot upward and spread across their field of vision. For them and Elise's pokemon. The Light Screen went up just in time, diminishing the violent lightning surge. Happy held the attack up, using his power to protect them all. [break][break] The Gourging Fire soon began to charge, heading closer to attack them directly, and happy's shield wouldn't protect them from physical assaults. [break][break] Dizzy gave a glare at Goruging Fire-- like facing an old foe. "Brrrrrk!" Dizzy growled, and caused several sparks of psychic energy to appear before him. With a cry of shock, Dizzy released Psyshock, blasting a barrage of psychic power against both dragons. [break][break]
