It seems like most of the safari pokémon of the day might have walked or not moved at all so a Cyclizar may speed across the area and almost hit Fenelle on the way. He does seem to cycle back with an apologetic look on his face, which Fenelle only meets with a slight frown, then a headshake. Since nothing happened - and Milcery also hasn't been involved in too much movement - it would be all good and fine for the moment ... ... but hmm.

Dee stares at the Cyclizar for a moment, and then another moment, under which the pokémon grew more and more confused, before being eventually hit by a safari ball - just in time for the Safari Warden to call Fenelle back.

@kazuya's entrance is less of a threat to Fenelle and der Goodra, which is only helpful as the Goodra is still Bideing his time. There's not much dee could do right now, and it's questionable if this might be the right move altogether - but they just had to angle the previous Ice Spinner right, and have it connect for sure.

Stormy gales errupt from both airborne fighters, leading to an almost stilness that covers the field - but only for a moment.

The Goodra is bloodied by the ferocious, persistent crunch from kepler brueshaber's Mega Gyarados - some old draconic instinct in this docile creature seems to scream, wanting to awaken. But it's not the time yet ... not yet.

Now.

Fenelle watches from a safe distance next to Gerald Kaiser as the Bide is unleashed at last. Reduced to a state of primal workings, of payback as it's filled with emotions that are a mix of despair, hatred, confusion even. Everything to make this numbing, maddening pain gone, as it tears into the Gyarados in attempts of relief.

But it turns out, that supposedly interesting thing is not as interesting upon closer inspection. Fenelle turns der back on the Excadrill, which might prove to be a fatal move - the wild pokémon doesn't seem to take well to being ignored, and the crackles of a devastating attack can be seen (if one would look) ...

However, Vanillite notices too and frowns, swiftly unleashing his own Sheer Cold to contest with the Fissure - it's a pure RNG check, but even apart from Fenelle's devious side, the autism gang has picked up a little bit of stochastics ...

Fenelle turns around with a frown as dee notices that some are not following along.

Steam fills Fenelle's and anyone's vision, really as Gerald Kaiser's Iron Moth uses the Hydropump to its advantage, quickly followed by some more attacks. Of course, kepler brueshaber's Mega Gyarados wouldn't just take it like that - but neither would Fenelle's Goodra.

The Goodra turns around briefly, and Fenelle catches his attention shortly as well. Dee signs, Lightning spin, gesturing at the area around them before signing for the Ice Spinner. And it seems like there would be a moment to try that move out soon as another Hurricane descends on them. Fenelle takes a step back while the Goodra focuses on the wind, the spin - and then uses Ice Spinner in the same rotation direction, hoping that it would accelerate more before hitting its target.

The ice beyblade nullifies the Electric Terrain, but Fenelle hopes that it would absorb it as well, giving the Hurricane a bit of an electric edge as well as the block of ice itself ... The Goodra then Bides as the Gyarados rushes in with another Crunch to keep her in the location where he wants her to be to be hit by the spinning ice.

It felt like Fenelle had to deal with this abandoned warehouse for more than two months, but dee finally is free of that and can enjoy some time off without having to allocate some of that to illicit activities dee couldn't do from the safety of der domicile. Why did Fenelle even bother to become a cracker if dee couldn't do home office ... (Truth is, dee never bothered indeed - but it's what's come naturally, so it's hard to imagine another path. A path not dictated by freeing and cageing hands.)

Dee's taking a walk around the neighbourhood with a boba in hand, as something catches der and der pokémon's interest.

Mille's Rotom in a tablet is transcribing Yuan's words and dee nods - it's still a bit weird to see der pronoun used like this, even if theoretically, dee knows that that's more than an uncommon choice (but it's kinda fun). Der Metagross can be said to be the most docile of der pokémon, but it doesn't have any hesitations to commit crimes either, having grabbed Spoinks with Psychic to swiftly remove the pearl from their heads after Bronzong's found them with its Extrasensory move.

"Thank you," dee signs at der Rotom for it to transcribe back, as it also quietly reads the message aloud. Dee nods at the comment about rangers - now that would truly be annoying. But, it turns out that Grimmsnarl doesn't alert because of rangers, but of another kind of intrusion ...

The Grimmsnarl taps Mille as well as Metagross and Rotom in a certain pattern, reading Intruder alert then on the Rotom's display screen. Quickly, dee turns around to see the source, as well as taking out another pokéball, but dee doesn't call for der Hisuian Goodra ... yet.

Ettie Yuan Wright

Fenelle finds demself in this familiar scenario again, experienced previously with Underboss Beckett. Dee nods at Lulu, before looking at their simulated army of Iron Treads. If you don't mind, I would like to see what happens if we charge, dee says, then squints before gesturing to the point where the Giant Orthworm has emerged before.

Last time I've done this, we waited and a giant Orthworm swallowed the enemy army ... I'd like to see if the Orthworm is a constant here, or if something else will happen. Dee personally hopes that the Orthworm would just always be there ... and dee also heard that the Ultra Desert might have gigantic Orthworms, too ... maybe dee would need to also make some trips there and see for demself.

Something feels like it's shifting or even powering up in the world. And it's only human, it appears, that they would use it for their own gains, as the future draws war ... Fenelle's in Sootopolis and overseeing some charging batteries which is a very boring but also dangerous task.

After all, it could blow up at any moment, and dee would not be able to be far away enough to actually be considered safe. Dee ponders, thinking of having to add a Teleport pokémon maybe permanently to der team as something happens next to dem (gladly not of the blow-up sort of kind). Der Metagross has looked at the charging batteries with some fascination for a while. Despite being essentially a super computer, it is more psychically powered than electric, and yet ...

It turns around to Fenelle, and uses a tiny boop of Electrify on dem, causing dem to hiss and rub der arm where the attack connected. That hurts, don't do it again, dee signs, but the pokémon already appeared heart broken, frankly. But that's ... an interesting development for sure.

Metagross learns Electrify and forgets Pursuit!

Mille doesn't pick up audible tones, but observes body language with incredible precision - however, the ease with which Yuan lies doesn't give away anything either, so dee simply nods in understanding. Dee might attempt a more skeptical approach in settings where being lied to is of more severance, but overall one could definitely describe the grunt as being arrogantly gullible - confident in der ability to figure out even the littlest bits of body language.

"I understand. I think the war efforts have everyone doubling up on training right now ... What department do you usually work at?" dee asks - Yuan doesn't appear to be part of the fighters, that's for sure. Dee frowns a bit as der Rotom transcribes a rather puzzling exchange, as dee literally might lack the necessary pieces to understand. "Uh, sure, okay, I won't mention it to ... him." Dee never knows if actually making the text cursive actually translates to anything, so dee prefers pausing.

Which might or might not appear either weird or even ominous.

"Which pokémon would you like to train? Dreepy is ready." Dee might type that, but the Dreepy actually went from slightly anxious to kinda sleepy, which is remedied by the gentlest Psychic from der Metagross. As if someone snapped nearby, the dragon type now appears more awake now.

However, der mind also unfocuses. "Not sure how I never considered Rotom for recordings before ... but now that I have one or some, I should start doing that."

Yuan Wright

Fenelle mimicks Shalin's motion of swiping the card, and let the other choose - clearly, she's the more experienced one out of them so she might actually know what's best to choose. Dee nods in agreement at the chosen map, having no preference for the music itself and unable to judge the beat map if dee hasn't seen it before. However, dee takes it upon demself to shift the map to BASIC for starters, looking a bit apologetic considering that Shalin has already also tackled way more difficult maps.

However, the game would then start up - and it takes a moment, sure enough, to get into the game at large. Dee only played tap rhythm games before, so coordinating with der feet is, starting out, a challenge in itself, but dee focuses as dee adjusts to the general ryhthm of the game, and doing der best not to be distracted by the music video playing in the background.

Against all odds, Mille manages to escape without having to actually blast a hole through the wall. Now, they were outside which in fact feels better than having a possible building collapse onto you, despite also being, well, more open. But, dee has several of der pokémon on deck- and oh shit. It turns out there was another reason why they managed through the front door ...

Dee knows not to underestimate the change from a Paradox pokémon to a simple pokémon, and maybe especially if that change is a dragon type, though typing might also not matter too much. What does matter is the fact that dee recognises an activated sygna suit to see one, if the ranger captain becoming a blur isn't enough evidence.

Mille quickly takes a couple of steps back, and der pokémon start to shift in front while also backing off. Der Hisuian Goodra tries a Mud Shot while Metagross is throwing another Meteor Mash. Grimmsnarl doesn't have any ranged attacks per se at the moment, so he decides to tag along Mille as dee frantically keeps looking for the nearby stationed teleport pokémon - where the hell is it? Did they capture it ... the next farther out would be a pain to get to with someone pursuing dem.

Shalin Nariya

Weird, Fenelle frowns, which prompts a sliver of concern from der pokémon. All four of them don't seem to know what they should be doing about it, however, so Fenelle and der Fuecoco, Milcery and Magnemite just continue onwards as if nothing had happened. But, dee definitely feels like dee has spent too much time outside - and they say that being outdoors is good for you, but look at where dee has ended up at ...

Dee spends some more time musing, before eventually stumbling upon another pokémon - a Klink. Fenelle ponders, already having a Klinklank ... but dee is actually not unfond of this pokémon, relating to its general cog in the machine aesthetic ... and there the safari ball goes, just to see if it might stick.
