Fenelle frowns at the whiplash, taking a moment longer than Frank to actually reorient demself in this landscape which, frankly, also is a sensory overload issue. Frank's reading aloud of the plaque does focus der attention then, too, and dee follows - also because of still holding each other's hand.

Dee bristles slightly now that the life-threatening (simulated) panic is over, and is glad that Frank's releasing der hand without much fuss, shaking a head at his apology (at least, his body language seemed to indicate one). Dee looks back at der phone, typing as well,

Given that they're face to face, Fenelle manages to lipread and guess the words spoken - seems like another explanation is due, however, but something else catches der attention for the moment. Der expression turns alarmed, and they nod towards the left before reaching for der bag with pokéballs, too-

An Escavalier is charging at them from within the snow, but it would soon be tripped by an Orthworm who'd act like a trip wire, laying flat on the ground before it would buckle up just as the Escavalier comes to pass. As the bug pokémon stumbles, dee is quick to throw a ball at it-

-and turn back to the other person, now directly typing into der text-to-speech program, letting the monotone masculine-ish voice sound out, "I'm deaf. Did you ask if I was by myself? If so, yes."

Yep. Seems like they fully forgot I'm not a sales and marketing intern at all, or they really don't do all that much planning.

Dee knows it's been meetings and more meetings that no one could afford any translation for, and dee would surely not provide any improvements either- it's not like dee hasn't specifically picked the firm for these exact reasons, but no one knows that.

Conversation is cut short at the sudden appearance of one of the new raid bosses, which technically should only spawn when there were at least ten players around. Well, this could be another bug report - or an opportunity. bakingfeuille is flung across the map, but gladly still lands somewhat close to der team mate, giving Fenelle some time to think and type.

Fire is bad news for the small metal worm. But hey, it's also bad news for the shogun who's now pursued by Gerald Kaiser's Charizard that's entered the fray. Fenelle doesn't have an ear for witty banter, so dee simply focuses on their environment to map out the best path to run towards the center. Dee isn't sure - is the goal to get there first, or get there unharmed - or both? Query: Instructions unclear, clarification needed-

Orthworm gives the weirdest wail ever heard in response to dorian westcliff's Gouging Fire's Raging Fury attack - it's honestly quite accurate to how one would imagine a worm scream. However, he tries to use the additional momentum to move forward, quickly moving after Fenelle's retreating figure who now also turns back to the fight (to see a terrifying Kingambit in pursuit). But it all wouldn't be enough, the worm being too small and kinda immobile above ground, even if he'd use his blue arms ... Dee turns to halt Gerald for a moment, showing him der left pointer wiggling like a worm before it's picked up by der right hand (Charizad pick up Orthworm?).

Then, dee jumps loudly once (and almost sprains an ankle while doing this-), before starting to sprint again. Whether or not the Orthworm would be picked up by his team mate, he got the signal just as he tries to wiggle away from parker jones's Iron Boulder's Mighty Cleave, followed by Hitoshi Inoue's Kowtow Cleave. It's time. Fenelle has set course and would hopefully be out of reach anyway as he tries to duck away towards the allied Charizard, waiting for a moment if the fire-type might want to use any attack still.

He would then release a Sandstorm, aimed primarily at the cluster of enemies and their trainers. In this haze, his Sand Veil ability would activate, but that's not enough insurance for the badly beaten worm. He uses Shed Tail to create a substitute, before being carried or moving his way onwards with wiggles and arms if not struck down first.

There's some things Fenelle has regrettably not managed to do before, and now dee is compensating hard. Playing video games is all good and really good, but arcades are truly something to look forward to on the weekends. As ever, dee is surrounded by der one singular braincell split across six pokémon, who don't even try to stay focused. Fenelle glances across the arcade after having acquired the necessary coins to play just to see that the entire gang has split up, but at least in pairs of two and not too far apart from one another. Gladly, the base evolution pokémon are also deemed adorable by most, so there shouldn't be any trouble arising soon ...

... which leaves Fenelle with the actual true goal of today's visit. Dee has been eyeing Dance Dance Revolution for a while, but never gotten really around to it. Now, with a newfound resolution in fitness and exercise, it seems only fitting that the beginning would be made with a game, of course.

Dee walks up straight to the chaos of blinking lights, just as another group vacated the DDR set-up that allowed up to two dancers at a time. With certainty, Fenelle takes a step forward - but it seems like dee is not alone in this endeavour ...

It's all fun and games until you had to hack into the gaming servers and maybe redirect some of the strain to some government servers that definitely could see better use ... ... which is something Fenelle might have attempted if dee hadn't managed to slip into the cracks of the overloaded server by sheer fortune. (But the idea lingers in der mind, wondering if this would be considered an effective cyber attack ... might be worth a try to run by superiors.)

But that's just about where their luck ends as they met up with fellow office sufferer and gamer ahpletuni. The queue to the new dungeon is packed so they resigned themselves to killing monsters and time while waiting for one of those fellow terminally online gamers to please log off, thank you. Dee is tempted to hack into gaming servers again as post-combat chatting distracts der typing fingers.

Der ingame avatar of bakingfeuille turns to der partner as der weapon is put away - a classic bow - and dee assumes a thinking stance.

In this virtual world, der actual Porygon is floating besides dem, but it's honestly incredibly useless in a fight. Nonetheless, Fenelle mirrors Adele with patting the top of its head. Unfortunately, with the lack of the other 5/6 of the braincell, the Porygon proves fairly useless, but still amicable company.

Fenelle lags through the drawing bow animation while something comes into existence behind der team mate. The music, unbeknowst to Fenelle, only picks up sometime after the Giganatamax'ed Duraludon appears a mere feet apart from them.

Seems like they didn't even have to go to the new dungeon - part of the new update just came to them, as the game caught up to real life and introduced Kaiju-sized pokémon as rare raid drop. And, as luck would have it, they're the only ones for quite some ingame miles.

Unfortunately, their allied forces have not been enough to take out either Dorian nor Hitoshi - only proof that they're tough opponents to beat. In fact, they still manage to take out one of their own - and Violet Fairbanks has to go. Fenelle nods at her in the moments of forced peace. And then it's not only her that goes - any concerns about the terrain's intactness are thrown out of the window as an abyss opens up around them, or one would assume from the shaking Earth.

Dee pats their Metagross one moment, gathering a little bit of psychic intel before recalling it, and instead ... ... ... it's truly sad. However, it'll have to do for now. 2,5 meters of Orthworm appear in the red beam. Its blue arms extend from his body, ready to tackle. These two are our enemies- survive and move forward, dee signs quickly, pointing first at Hitoshi Inoue and dorian westcliff, before pointing towards the center of the arena, as Hitoshi already charges at Gerald. The Orthworm flinches, but isn't the target so remains unaffected from the Metal Sound - and well, Fenelle only picks up from visual clues what's going on.

The Orthworm doesn't hesitate much longer, either, using Harden to up his defense. Then, he leaps onwards with surprisingly agility - maybe that's a perk of not being 9 meters tall - to swipe an Iron Tail at the Kingambit, also using this momentum to try and angle himself towards the center.

Fenelle taps Gerald Kaiser in the meanwhile, pointing at dem with der left hand, pointer and thumb extended, before closing the gap between these two while moving der hand towards demself with a questioning look. Together? However, dee would only take a brief moment to wait for an answer before starting to run towards the middle of the arena.

Fenelle lets Josh handle the delivery and social parts of the project, instantly returning to der phone as they stood still. However, it's actually for business - checking the location and route to the next delivery station, which wouldn't be too far from here.

Dee doesn't let the astonishment show that truly, Josh only picks up the phone now, but it makes sense. Well, maybe dee needs to be more careful too or he'd actually drag dem to the police station for minor offenses ... But, before their journey continues, dee would also respond to the text Josh sent.

I think there's actually some along the way ... they are a bit narrow though, so we're also losing speed at the same time. What's better in this case?

Dee has no idea how nimble his pokémon might be, or these two that they're riding in particular.

Does this have to do with the multiverses? That it's another Deoxys - or maybe ... in what universe do these simulations even take place?

For all the frequency and willingness dee has for entering these simulations over and over again, there's truly much to be discovered about them, too. Who made them? (How did they figure out subtitling and sometimes even sign interpreters?) What's the timeline ... truly, there's so many questions.

But there's another question that comes into der mind as the scenario shifts around them, and they find themself looking at a tree. It's strange to think that a tree could actually communicate its desires. The petrification of the tree reminds dem a bit of Sudowoodo and thus also of a very stubborn girl insisting its a plant type ...

However, turning back to Makoto, they ponder their words for a moment.

Shall we see what happens then if we water it? To gain more information about this scenario.

If burning means war, would watering mean ... peace? Would life suddenly return to this area? Only one way to find out.

Fenelle signs in agreement as Frank O.K.'s the joining. Dee looks at him as he makes the official introductions, reading his lips to the best of der abilities to get the gist of what he's saying - there's a moment of blankness, however, before dee realises Oh, that's my name, right. The thing with dee making up a name for demself: even with help, the viseme is not something dee really got used to yet. (And it's also not like the viseme is the same for everyone, either.)

However, not much time to linger in that idea, either - suddenly, the figures around the table stood up. The subtitling glitches, and it reminds dem of another time dee's been in here- uh oh.

Frank has also noticed the eyes by now, and dee doesn't hesitate much. Dee backs up in sync with Frank, before turning to find an opening to slip through- They also reach for his hand, and then run into a sprint. It seems like those eyes might be everywhere in the RKS simulation- or maybe it's just der luck. But well, hope they won't have to experience whatever it means to be engulfed here before the scenario changes!

It's chilling in more ways than one to see Jayden swiftly evade the Dragon Breath by forming an icy shield - seconds before it's turning against them, transforming into crystalline daggers. Quickly, the Hisuian Goodra doubles down on Dragon Breath in hopes of melting the ice, positioning himself in front of Fenelle who's slightly ducked down. But it's hard to find a protected spot where you can also still see from this barrage ...

... however, it turns out, the near-invisible daggers aren't the only thing to look out for. The dragon's breath grows both hotter and ... unsteady. A roar erupts that shakes the earth and falls on unlistening ears with Fenelle, who simply frowns at the sudden change. Dee can't see the face of der pokémon, but there's a shift.

The expression of the well-natured Goodra has become torn apart by hatred.

Fenelle nods, signing immediately, I can find the report later for you ... or make a new one. The last one's been more paperwork documentation, so it's a bit ... It's not bad because Fenelle takes der paperwork serious, but also. It's not really that good either. Definitely something dee would want to revise before Lulu gets a look at it. (Or did she already. ... no time to consider that.)

Fenelle nods also at the remark about ghosts being rather mischievous - pondering. But it's nothing dee can consider untrue, indeed, knowing how some ghost types are ... but the talk of Porygon makes dem snap back to the conversation instead of going through the entire list of der sibling's ghost pokémon, and nod with renewed fascination. I must admit I haven't ... considered Porygon much before, but I would very much like to. I have a Porygon, but it's not part of my Rocket team, so I haven't considered its general utility. There's only a few things that could be considered sacred to dem - der sibling (and their pokémon) as well as the autism creature gang, even if those also would excel in warfare. Small, but furious.

I need to figure out more about Porygon, dee ponders with a nod, Especially if it's been designed for interdimensional travel ... then it should be able to assisst spaceship endeavours ... Megalopolans haven't used pokémon as we know, or do they? dee ponders while Lulu's having a look at the landscape. Fenelle prepares demself for another zipline down, as Lulu calls for a teleport and a Porygon.

Dee waves in greeting at the pokémon (much bigger than ders, too) and nods. That sounds good. Fenelle turns to der Metagross, signing, Float down. See if there's anything of interest, before waiting to be teleported down. And as much as dee tries to hide it, given that dee hasn't often teleported before, it's slightly disorienting as dee finds demself in this new area.
