he chucked his mightyena! hakamo-o was quite shocked. there was just one shocking moment the next. "hell yeah, a battle?! let's tear this place apart!" dragonite would come to land behind mateo. "you're on standby!" sceptile was scouting the backyard to ensure that there were no surprise assaults from behind or to side, thus remaining hidden. whereas, dragonite, had just returned from scouting the skies.

"hakamo-o, wipe'em out: DOUBLE TEAM!" hakamo-o began to charge forward. creating five phantasms, they'd begin to switch positions in order to confuse the dark-type. "circle'em!" surrounding mightyena, mateo ordered, "DRAGON CLAW!" the six hakamo-o's would come to create gloved claws made of aura over their paws.

mateo was aware of mightyena's capability to sniff out the original one. still, he ordered, "move in for a strike!" should he attempt to sniff out the real hakamo-o. hakamo-o was prepared to utilize DRAGON DANCE to enhance his agility and maneuver pass any form of counter attack, be it via a bite or hyper beam, in on mightyena; though, had it gone for another protect, he'd halt his assault to pullback but, simultaneously, retract his claws in order to release a half-generated focus blast, meaning it was only able to use fifty percent of its power due to the sudden offensive shift, instead.

"what?! why i oughta--" suddenly, bryony retaliated--both in word and action. luckily, the dustox-not-celebi tugged mateo with a telekinetic pull. sending him out of the way to stand next to his fellow teammate, @bronze landing on his feet, he'd utter, "gaaaaaaaaah!? i almost became a dragon pancake!" he uttered, holding his chest from bryony's sudden surprise. hakamo-o, too, in shock of @bryony's assault.

pointing at kyle lopez, he'd agree with cait alfric, "stop corrupting her you hellhound," he'd swipe his hand to the side, continuing, "hakamo-o, FOCUS BLAST at kyle lopez!" hakamo-o, shocked by the order, had faith kyle would, somehow, survive. so, with a sphere charged within the palm of his hand as focus gathered toward kyle lopez. he'd release a sphere of energy toward the red scarf wearing enemy.

while that was happening, mateo turned to speak toward @bronze, "oi, you watch my back and fuck'em up if they try to catch us off guard." though, quickly, he'd whisper to @bronze, "don't hurt the girl who tossed out the snorlax though." back to the fight. a tightened fist and clenched jaws, mateo shouted with a raised fist, "we won't lose, huntail!" with the utter of a whistle, mateo would call upon his trusted ally from afar.

"out of the way!" shoving a random teammate to the side. mateo knew something fishy was going on! he'd come to pass @bronze and stand in front of the duo to grace their stronghold. arms crossed, one could see that, underneath the morning son, he donned a blue cape that represented his team color. was seen fluttering upon his back. underneath the cape mateo was shirtless upon the top-half, his bottom wear involved a pair of beige cotton beach shorts. since they were within a sandy field, he had no reason to adorn footwear. [break][break]

mateo wasn't a happy camper. it showed upon his face in the form of a scowl. "i knew you were the goddamn devil's hellhound when i first met you, to force @bryony to do this!" he'd fiercely point toward kyle lopez , "unforgivable, you goddamn mutt, idjit!" he knew he shouldn't have taken his eyes off of her. "i'm sorry, bryony..." he'd clench his teeth, his head shifting to the side. unable to look at the corruption done to her, "you're far from saving, so..." removing his right hand from underneath his cape, he'd come to reveal a bracelet with six ball capsules upon it.

plucking one capsule from it. he'd come to the toss enlarge the ball with the press of a button and tossed it into the air. emerging from the flash of white light was none other than HAKAMO-O. a deep breath was taken in, he was able to look at @bryony once more; though, this time, it was with a piercing gaze. "we're enemies and if you take one step forward, this will be a d---" a SUDDEN INTERRUPTION.

it was cait alfric, "miss alfric?!" or wait, was it cait now? he was higher ranked then her. it was a bit confusing, either way. she ruined his moment what the hell?! aside from that, as she forewarned them of potential war. he'd come to notice a weird pokemon buzzing around. "your dustox looks stupid." he commented, wondering why the weird 'not-celebi' dustox had a mustache. he couldn't exactly tell that it wasn't a dustox, but hey? let him think what he wanted, right?

"a-anyway, screw you guys! you take one step forward and you're getting demolished!" a gripped fist, he was ready for war. if need be he was, too, prepared to call upon reinforcement. "you can all turn around and go back home, we won't touch your house as long as you don't set foot on our turf." well, that was a bit too late. but, hey, it was about to be ass-kickin' time.

"oh, it's jan!" picking the jangmo-o up and holding it within the air as if it were an infant. he'd playfully make faces. afterwards, mateo would explain the situation once she was set. with jangmo-o in tow, he'd say, "follow me!"

escorting the duo outside, he'd come to set the jangmo-o down. "it's not everyday you get to see something as spectacular as this." a satchel was seen being held by one of the caretakers of their estate. "thanks!" taking it out and unwrapping the item from the cloth that covered it. he would come to reveal the SOUL DEW to @bryony.

once shown and held by mateo, a beam of light emerged and began surging toward one, very specific, direction. "i don't know where this thing is leading me to, but there're several locations that way. i think i'm suppose to follow it..." staring at the item, he'd look back to @bryony with a gentle smile, "and i thought it'd be pretty cool to take you on a field trip. we might see some once-in-a-lifetime thing or..." die. there was a chance of death. "...or we can ignore this. pretend like none of this ever happened and live in wonder as to where the hell this rock was trying to take us." that was a nice way of putting.

"and if we somehow get lost or in trouble, i'll leave a note behind telling them to look for us in these specific locations. if anything, i'll make sure the note is delivered and they can just follow after us." turning to the caretaker, he'd nod. signaling them to make sure the note is delivered the moment they leave. "we're heading out on our dragons. while you gather your stuff, i'm go get my bearings together." he'd wrap the soul dew back up.

once they were ready, they'd head out.

[attr="class","starrytext"]taking the lead. he'd hum a tune of joy. as they traversed onto the island and through the sand. he had a good feeling about this mission. as mateo walked foward, he began to sing aloud a nursery rhyme from when he was an adolescent boy living within blackthorn:

"we're the marching dragon!
chomp, chomp, chomp!
we're the mighty dragon!
roar, roar, roar!
breathing fire over here, fire over there!
we're gonna eat you up!
snack, snack, snack!"

he wasn't much of a singer, but so what? they were gonna go beat up a new dragon! he believed this so-called "siren" was the work of a new pokemon. they were gonna get in, he was gonna catch it, and they were gonna find the missing people that never returned and head back! a piece of cake!

or so he thought. "i hate this!" he cried aloud. "i hate that!" he shouted. their opponent was an ogress, a monstress, the queen of beasts herself: jynx. "i hate all of you!" he exclaimed. he felt he was lied to. what even made him think that this would be the discovery of a new dragon?

mateo fell onto his knees as tears poured from his sockets. he'd call haxorus to the FRONT. with a mighty roar, mateo ordered haxorus to use TAUNT upon jynx.

[attr="class","starrytext"]oh man he was so pumped to teach lien everything he knew. that's right, he was going to teach the future that dragons are the bees knees. starting with lien, they were going to learn just how great a dragon could be. he was ready, he was so ready. oh lien you have no idea what you've gotten yourself into.

"ah! pepperoni pizza please! extra meat, and do you know if you have dragon flakes as toppings here? i haven't had any dragon flakes since leaving my home. it's like they're rare or nonexistent or something!" he was craving for some dragon flakes.

"isn't this exciting lien?! you have a natural affinity to become a dragon tamer!"

altaria, too, followed her trainer within laughter. "now we have to teach it proper breath control. dragon breath is just another form of dragon rage, but more condensed. it's like a solid becoming a liquid and then a gas. my teacher taught me that it was sort of like some science bullshit. but eventually i just altaria to learn it the minute it evolved." he'd pat the altaria upon the head as he tried his best to explain.

"mm...how i look at dragon breath is that you just need to teach the fraxure how to keep its composure and quell its anger. of course, all dragons are different. but the ones usually able to learn it fast are capable of turning that dragon rage into a dragon breath." they had a long way to go, but they were going to do it! "if i were you i'd go grab us some food because we have a lot of work on our hands, lien! happy to work with you, idjit!" mateo, instinctively, called him. snickering with bemusement.

[attr="class","starrytext"]"begin!" alakazam induced dragonite with TAUNT. the pokemon, enraged, entered the battle. he was fighting against FROGADIER and ARCANINE. alakazam simply served as a support from the side, aiding in dragonite's training. a FLAMETHROWER was hurdled dragonite's way, but, countering, utilized his own FLAMETHROWER. it was intense, hot. his rage enhanced the spew of his own flames.

mateo watched as they fought from afar. the scenery was set within an open space. a raging water fall befell before the group as they trained upon shore. with DOUBLE TEAM in play, he couldn't differentiate his enemy under the status of TAUNT. so, in order to act, dragonite attempted to rotate while simultaneously expelling FLAMETHROWER; sadly that attempt would not be possible for, upon order, alakazam used, "DISABLE!" as instructed. cancelling dragonite's fire out.

the taunted dragon was unable to make a proper move. with EXTEMESPEED arcanine inflicted a blunt assault two to three times. frogadier would enter, among his false selves, with WATER PULSE. successfully pushing the dragon back and into the lake. mateo simply stood, watching with a stern look. dragonite wasn't finished and he could still retaliate.

though, mateo's attention was taken away upon hearing a rustle from the side. diverting his attention toward the sound with a raised brow, he'd ask, "who's there?" who the hell had the audacity, the barbaric balls, to interrupt their training session?
