a child came running out from the staircase that led to the bowels of the cruise ship. panting, screaming, and crying, the boy would come to fall upon the ground. he was unable to move. his body having given out from exhaustion. he looked to see two individuals (Ruby Walker and @creepy) who were already atop of the deck. there was hope for the boy yet, someone could save him! "h-help!" he called for the duo. a hand shakily extending for their reach.

in his moment of plea, several obstagoon would come to swarm the child. they were ready to pounce atop of the boy and tear him limb from limb. though they were aware of the pair before them playing with their pokemon, they'd eventually deal with them after the young boy. luckily, unexpected assistance, probably, was on the way.

from above dorian westcliff and Jet O'Haire could see the group of obstagoon upon the boat preparing to swarm the child. though possible questions would plague them, such as how exactly did wild obstagoon's get onto a boat in the middle sea? there was little room to think, only to act. for now the group needed to deal with the pokemon before the child was torn asunder.

• OBJECTIVE: defeat the group of obstagoons and save the young boy!
• notes: things were going smoothly for the night until a boy emerged from an entrance that led to the middle deck of the boat. his clothes were torn slightly as he obstagoon would chase the young child to the upper deck. currently, Ruby Walker and @creepy, as far as they know, are the only ones who can help them! though, the question is will they? the boy has fallen and is currently being swarmed by the terrifying pokemon. this won't be an easy fight, but it's up to someone to save the boy! will you do it? will Jet O'Haire and dorian westcliff lend a hand?

the lock upon their train cabin made a noise, a beep then followed. one could indicate that that wasn't a good sign--or perhaps it was? either way, as soon as kyle lopez tore the envelope open, the letter inside read:

trains are no different from falinks. they move in a straight line just like carts following the train's brass that guides them toward their destination. all it takes is one slight screw loose in their machine work to dismantle them one-by-one, cart-by-cart...i'd hold my breath if i were you.

to them it would sound like random gibberish. but it wasn't until gas began to deploy from the cabin's ventilation. the fog was white and held a strange odor to it, the odor was strong and produced an odoriferous scent strongly resembling burnt sugar. this was only the beginning of their problems! there was a loud screech emitting from the intercom! the sound would eventually come to a halt as a voice, one familiar to the video that was received, "ah, it's so nice of you all to join!" the voice spoke.

if Wendy Peterson were to look around a bit more. she'd notice that in a corner of the room, though not too noticeable at first, that a camera would come to reveal itself. "hey, hey!" the lens of the camera shifted, zooming in and eyeing Wendy Peterson. "what the--...you're not Bailey Cooper?!" he was hoping to meet the woman of his dreams. this was a bummer! "whatever, you won't survive this anyway! besides, you league bastards didn't bring the love of my life to me." he was so angry, "you turd boogers can just go ahead and die for all i care!" shouting into the mic, he'd calm himself.

"it's okay..." his tone returned to its natural state, "sorry about that, hehe! let me just say that i'm a fair guy, you gotta understand that i was really lookin' forward to meeting that stunnin' beauty." a disappointed sigh escaped his maw, "that's alright, maybe you guys entertaining me for a bit will cheer me up." oh, wait, he just noticed the time. it's been a minute and he's already wasted enough for them.

"you lot are currently locked inside this room, and also this entire cart." a clock was casually over their heads so they could see the time ticking. "you've got...eight minutes UNTIL THE GAS TAKES FULL EFFECT!" this didn't prove easy, "every TWO MINUTES you'll feel something, and it only gets worse as two minutes pass, speaking of which..." the long hand moved, "it's been TWO MINUTES, you guys should start feeling something right about..." he'd pause, "now!"

if he were correct their sight would begin to feel blurry, this would mean that the gas was working. "you've got 8 minutes before you meet an unpleasant end. you better find a way out and fast, if you don't get out of this cart you're as good as dead, till next time you league shits!" the transmission ceased and the gas continued to fill the room.

if Bo Locke, or rather Annie Mei, were to raise the sheets that hid the pokemon from their sights. they'd come to discover the pokemon inside their cages within a motionless state. there were almost four to five electrodues and voltorbs caged together. some would have electricity surge around their ball-like body, whereas others lowly groaned. even someone who was Annie Mei's age could deduce that they were very unwell.

for the time being nothing occurred and the two rockets remained in position. the vehicle they were occupying was one provided by rocket, within there was a communication device where the radio would be. the phone began to ring, but there was no option to answer. the phone simply answered itself. the call was a random operative from their base contacting the duo @beans and Arashi Akiyama!

"target is in sight. you are to move immediately, we can't waste this opportunity. we've received word that league is on the way, get ahold of that vehicle and eliminate the enemy; it'd be detrimental if the league apprehended them before we could silence them." the transmission, before they could respond, ended. this was but a simple warning, a message telling them to get a move on and to stop lollygagging! time was of the essence, they had their orders! it was time to move out.

once all were boarded, the train was off. things were going smoothly for the time being as they moved at a casual pace from slateport to mauville. for now, they were allowed to remain rested.

...or so one would assume. this was just too painful to watch. the conversation between the trio (kyle lopez , noah faber , and Wendy Peterson ) screamed, "don't figure me out!" both the league and team rocket had quite the troublesome operatives working for them. thankfully, this painful conversation would come to be brought to an end from a simple knock upon their cabin door, outside of their cabin a masculine voice shouted, "train attendant, excuse me!"

a code was entered to open their cabin door. "ticket please!" the train attendant requested. once their passes were shown, he'd then come to reveal a cart beside his person outside of the door. the attendant would roll the wooden crate in. the group could see that, atop of the crate, were there four silver platters. "compliments from the train conductor, kyle lopez !" the train attendant would come to blush, "t-to think the hero of hoenn would be on here, i-i'm actually very grateful to you...! thank you for all your hard work!"

and with that he was gone once their tickets were taken care of. next time kyle should probably wear a hat. he was more famous than the average joe, after all; so it was no surprise he'd come to be recognized compared to the other three. lyre, though no comment was made, would be sure to reprimand him later due to overhearing from the base thanks to the rotom.

an envelope resided between the four platters, a knife as well that was to be used in order to open it. on top of the envelope, for whomever were to pick it up, would come to see writing, it read:

Bo Locke took up an assignment that INVOLVED DELIVERING A CRATE OF POKEMON to lilycove city's league headquarters. they were, as she was told, RECENTLY SAVED POKEMON AND WERE ASSIGNED TO BE BROUGHT TO LEAGUE HEADQUARTERS TRAUMA CENTER FOR SPECIAL TREATMENT. little did she know, this crate of pokemon were unusually unwell. she wasn't allowed to look inside due to being told that there was a potential chance of being poisoned by whatever they were afflicted with. so, currently, she was driving!

she wasn't alone. she had a little helper, Annie Mei , who was assigned to make sure that the crates went untouched. the kid needed the money, so they didn't mind hiring a child. what's the worse that could happen? oh, right, team rocket. who could forget about those guys?!

as the truck was making its exit out of a town and heading to lilycove. team rocket operatives, @bean5 and Arashi Akiyama , awaited for the perfect opportunity to strike: which was now. the delivery truck Bo Locke was currently in possession of had the signature mark of BOMB-B on the side of the delivery truck! which was a mischievous grinning cartoon-like drawn bomb. @bean5 and Arashi Akiyama needed to apprehend that truck and secure not only the contents inside, but deal with the driver that was believed to be BOMB-B. sadly, THEY WERE UNAWARE AT THIS TIME THAT THE DRIVER WAS NOT BOMB-B, but they would soon figure it out enough.

with christmas nearing, were many hoennians who were far from home were unable to return due to personal reasons. you had trainers, coordinators, foreigners, and some who had no family or place to call home, that were unable to have a christmas. so the mayor of mossdeep city has taken it upon themselves to offer a free week long stay in one of mossdeep's famous hotels.

a cruise ship was in motion and set for mossdeep. the trip would be long, but very memorable! especially since the ship itself was so large and vast. this was a trip for the less fortunate. to our surprise, one of the passengers aboard the ship happened to be Ruby Walker ! hoenn's resident vagabond and, one of many, promising trainers to recently earn the badge of CAIT ALFRIC'S GYM! to what was Ruby Walker doing on the ship at this time? it was unknown. for now, wherever she may, the young child was unaware of the trouble that lurked upon the ship.

to what reason did @creepy have for being here? it was also unknown. but the young knight, wherever he may be upon the cruise ship, was in for a treat. his blade would be needed very soon, but for now he, too, remained oblivious as to what resided upon the ship. for the time being he was allowed to relax and casually partake in personal recreations.

cadis von klaussner has informed Jet O'Haire and dorian westcliff of the situation. heck, all rocket operatives were leaked about the emergence of rocket remnants thanks to inside help. there was to be another attack to be carried out by bomb-b, and league would be unable to reach the location in time. luckily, cadis von klaussner knew who were the closest mossdeep: dorian westcliff and Jet O'Haire .

his stage pieces were set to combat whatever bomb-b had planned for the cruise ship Ruby Walker and @creepy resided on. dorian westcliff and Jet O'Haire missed out upon boarding the trip and now needed to find a way to reach the ship that has sailed. how would they plan to travel? will they search for a boat? take flight upon their pokemon? either way, they needed to find a way to reach the cruise ship before it was too late.

it was only just after the winter ball when the message had been received. those of LEAGUE knew that, someday, they would make their entrance, it just wasn't known when. with one attack told to be heading directly toward the league's headquarters, there came another: SLATEPORT'S MAGNET TRAIN.

it was unprecedented that another attack would be occurring simultaneously! another transmission was sent directly to league headquarters, this time the contents stating:

"have you all ever been in love?? people call me crazy, but when i saw her--that she-beast--my heart raced with excitement! a video feed of a woman that made my heart EXPLODE, huh? her name you ask? if i'm not mistaken it's Bailey Cooper ! yes, she was the inspiration behind what i've got in store for you all next; our game is only just getting started. i call this a tribute to profess not just my admiration for silas, but my love for Bailey Cooper ! seeing that EXPLOSIVE charisma she displayed, with sheer bravado might i add, it's because of her that this idea came to fruition: TO FINISH WHAT ROCKET COULD NOT AND DESTROY THE MAGNET TRAIN! i hope this message reaches you, Bailey Cooper ! i'll be waiting at WHERE IT ALL BEGAN!"

a video feed of Bailey Cooper fighting within the magnet train back during THE INVASION OF SLATEPORT was shown. the feed played on the devices of those who were both league and rocket operatives. this video was to suggest that their target location, due to the voice-over stating that he was to be waiting 'where it all began', that both league and rocket could probably find the assailant where bailey was recorded fighting on the magnet train's cameras.[break][break]

with dahlia goode currently missing from the picture, as well as for FERNANDO SILPH , freya morningstar , and kim cole-essam currently attending to other matters, it was time for HER to takeover, a league operative that who, one of many, created a plethora of assignments for league officials to take. an ice cold beauty who hid herself from the outside world. she was a woman who viewed the world, and people, as nothing more than a buggy program within her reality. her name was LYRE VERGLAS, like a computer she records everything she both hears and sees; though, like a harp, should you piss her off she will be ready to replay the tune of your idiocy. you'd do best not to anger her when given the luxury to even work with someone as brilliant as her. her tongue was like a weapon, there is grace within it but you will quickly be called a goddamn clown.

the battalion, for this specific assignment, were quickly chosen.[break]
the confidant smile of a powerful woman was worn. for, to no man, did she possess a single thought of losing against a man when it comes to a game of wits.[break][break]

her pieces were chosen: kyle lopez and noah faber , a pair of league operatives she had an assortment of information on. from league headquarters a ROTOM DEX was sent to serve as their line of communication. she would use this rotom to speak and direct them from the base of league, this would be the same for the other two groups she would, soon, communicate with. for now, she was focused on this specific group.

kyle lopez and noah faber were ordered, from wherever they were, to immediately make haste for slateport's station. the rotom dex would guide them once they were ready. once there, they'd take notice of passengers standing outside and slowly boarding the train. one could tell from the atmosphere that they weren't aware of what was happening. what's even worse is that the terrorist could literally be anyone of them!

to make even further matters worse, the league was unaware of unexpected party crashers , who also happened to be ROCKET OPERATIVES, Wendy Peterson and Cillian Quinn . together they stood amongst the passengers outside of the train, awaiting to board the maglev. the rotom, the next, began to speak to noah faber and kyle lopez , it was to be noted that, at this time, the voice was not the rotom itself but lyre!

"i've secured your tickets." tickets to board the train would come to pop out of the rotom's backside, as if it were pooping. "please prepare to take your seats, we can't be obvious that we're here to apprehend a criminal. we don't wish to cause a panic." turning toward Cillian Quinn and Wendy Peterson who stood far off from the group of passengers, lyre continued, "i've took the liberty to secure your seats with those two passengers. once on board, try to use them as a cover. make friends, and, this should go with out saying, be sure to keep secret about what's happening. until then, i'll be examining you through the rotom. i expect results, gentlemen." a soft hum was heard upon the end of their communication. now, left with them, was a casual rotom dex hovering about between noah faber and kyle lopez .
