[attr="class","lars"]  pokemon     tag words 322 notes time to herd. and negotiate! | “Don’t hurt them too much!” he called after Ro, watching as the Metang had flown away from him, now being trailed by a lot of angry, angry Froslass. At the same time, he spun another Pokéball between his fingers, popping it and sending Alpha out in a flash of red light.
“Alpha. Go help Ro. He’s going to need it. Hurry!” he continued, pointing the Riolu forward and watching as it let out a yip before dashing away—which now left him with the burning wreckage. Hoping that he wasn’t going to be too late, another Pokéball was popped to full size and tossed forward, a Marshtomp emerging from its depths.
“Sui. Can you help them put the fire out? Try to avoid causing much more damage, douse the flames as best as you can,” he said before the dual-type grunted and took a deep breath, aiming its Hydro Pump in the direction of some of the burning wreckage that the Rapidash and Litwick were unable to contain.
He could only hope that Ro and Alpha were able to negotiate with the pack of Froslass, because things were looking rather grim… it had been a while since he’d heard from either of them.
After what felt like an eternity, the Metang returned—and astride it was an exhausted, napping Riolu.
“What happened?” he asked the Metang, before getting a grating noise in response. While he couldn’t make heads or tails of it, at least there were no more… Froslass behind them.
“Alpha did all the talking?” he asked, to which the Metang nodded, shifting its sleeping cargo slightly. “Alright, I’ll carry him,” he added with a bit of a grin, taking the Riolu off from the Metang’s back.
“…seriously, Ro, what the hell did you do?” he wondered quietly as the Metang made its way back to Stormy, hoping that everyone was alright. He didn’t look bloodied, that was at least reassured…
