after the ultra beast war, hoenn begins to heal. the megalopolan invasion may have failed; however, it is clear there is much more at stake. a prophecy revolving around a cyclical meteoroid, the appearance of necrozma and a dangerous and viral alien threaten the safety of the region once more.
with rocket's new boss, the resurgence and reappearance of the crime syndicate's presence is imminent. the league has done its best to repair its reputation, and with the victory of a war under their belt, perhaps it is enough. but the seeds of distrust have already been sown in the ravaged land of this region, causing many to wonder what will grow?
ON HOENN you are able to start with multiple pokemon using a simple point-buy system. When creating your character application, you will need to designate your character's starters. Consequently, you must read the following guidelines before completing your character application:[break][break]
starter pokemon can come from any generation.
starter pokemon can not be legendaries/mythicals. e.g. phione, type:null, latios, etc.
starter pokemon can not be shiny (unless changed into a shiny later).
starter pokemon can not possess hidden abilities (unless earned later).
starter pokemon can start with six moves from their level up learnset. in other words, starter pokemon can not possess egg moves, tms, move tutor moves, etc.
if a starter pokemon only has 1-2 moves in their learnset, upon evolution they can learn three new moves from their new learnset. if they learn an evolution move upon evolving, they can learn the evolution move on top of the three new moves as well.
starter pokemon can not be traded.
WHAT IS THE POINT-BUY SYSTEM?
THE POINT-BUY SYSTEM IS A SIMPLE WAY to "purchase" your character's starter pokemon. Every character starts with six points to use. You do not need to use all six points. These points will not be used or counted for any other purpose.[break][break][break]
