HOW TO PICK YOUR STARTERS

GENERAL RULES

ON HOENN you are able to start with multiple pokemon using a simple point-buy system. When creating your character application, you will need to designate your character's starters. Consequently, you must read the following guidelines before completing your character application:[break][break]

[attr="class","ynospace"]
  • starter pokemon can come from any generation.
  • starter pokemon can not be legendaries, mythicals, ultra beasts, paradox pokemon. e.g. phione, type:null, latios, ultra beasts, iron bundle, etc.
  • starter pokemon can not be unown currently, due to the site's current story arc.
  • starter pokemon can be hisuian forms/hisuian exclusive pokemon, but they must have been caught in hoenn due to the odd dimensional phenomena present that has allowed them to roam freely in the region.
  • starter pokemon can not be shiny (unless changed into a shiny later).
  • starter pokemon can not possess hidden abilities (unless earned later).
  • starter pokemon can start with six moves from their level up learnset (gen 7-9). in other words, starter pokemon can not possess egg moves, tms, move tutor moves, etc.
  • if a starter pokemon only has 1-2 moves in their learnset, upon evolution they can learn three new moves from their new learnset. if they learn an evolution move upon evolving, they can learn the evolution move on top of the three new moves as well.
  • starter pokemon can not be traded.
