a new year brings new expectations. civil unrest starts to manifest in the form of online criticisms that spike after the three day war. now that the region no longer has to face the threat of megalopolans, the people of hoenn turn to address smaller and more personal issues. will the league rise up to the situation? what about questionable events that have transpired, overshadowed and overlooked in the face of more imminent issues?
after the ultra beast war, hoenn begins to heal. the megalopolan invasion may have failed; however, it is clear there is much more at stake. a prophecy revolving around a cyclical meteoroid, the appearance of necrozma and a dangerous and viral alien threaten the safety of the region once more.
with rocket's new boss, the resurgence and reappearance of the crime syndicate's presence is imminent. the league has done its best to repair its reputation, and with the victory of a war under their belt, perhaps it is enough. but the seeds of distrust have already been sown in the ravaged land of this region, causing many to wonder what will grow?

you can not trade between your own characters in any fashion, including through a third party.
you can not trade starter pokemon.
you can trade or gift other people pokemon without limit.
in the case of a dropped character, staff will decide if their pokemon can be gifted or not.
although not necessary, it would be ideal to have ic reasons for trading. if you do not have an ic reason, feel free to imagine and develop how your character encountered those pokemon, for it could be an interesting plot point!
in order to gift or trade a pokemon to another character in any fashion, the giver must have posted at least twice in-character in the past 30 days. they may receive pokemon regardless of their posting frequency.
if you plan on archiving a character, refer to staff prior to giving away their pokemon. if this becomes a common trend, some trades may be reversed post-mortem.
Players are free to join events and play in whichever method they find fun as long as they fit within the ruleset of the event. [break][break]
The ask from Staff going forward is that for events that allow multiple character, please be mindful of the time it takes to accommodate a large cast. [break][break]
We ask that players prioritize characters that will follow-through with the event, seize it as an opportunity for character growth, and contribute to it from a narrative standpoint. We ask players that are solely joining the event with a character to earn rewards to give away or trade as currency refrain from such practices if they are also participating with another character they own.
