slateport is a beautiful city. ezra is like a tourist, taking in the sights and the sounds. she visits the oceanic museum, admires the harbor, the shipyard, the marketplace.
she loves it. for a few seconds at a time, she's reminded of vermillion city so much that she could be standing there again. like vermillion, it will soon be hers. it's only in these moments that she feels childish, even excited, waiting for time to pass with the anticipation of a fool waiting for a package to come in the mail.
until then, sometimes one just wants to rest.
the young woman stands on a stair overlooking the beach, one hand gripping an open soda from a nearby vending machine, the other blocking the sun from her eyes as she appreciates the view. the city, the ocean...
a crisp sea breeze whips her hair behind her. she smiles.
