Bam let out a sympathetic yip, patting his unbroken arm some more. She'd visit him so he wouldn't be bored! Or at least video chat if it turned out their trainers lived too far away from each other! It was a good thing she didn't know Gwyar's inner thoughts either, or she'd be yapping a piece of her mind at the man.[break][break]
Cardamom nodded, picking up the few bags left as Gwyar offered to pay nonetheless. That did raise the man's favor in the boy's eyes a bit, at least. "Sorry, we're out of pure sweet-flavored treats," he added. "But we've still got some mixes left and all the other flavors are available too. What's his favorite?" Of course sweets were the first to sell out, but he thought his family did quite well at blending all the other flavors into delicious snacks too.[break][break]
He grinned a little at the question. "Oh, it was great!" he exclaimed. "I got to try out a whole bunch of different types of fights too! I think Shin-that's my Teddiursa-is pretty close to evolving as well. I think he's just holding back for whatever moment is most dramatic."

As more arguments and fighting broke out, Cardamom considered stepping in somehow, but since she wasn't really familiar with most of those people, she figured she'd simply distract them. Of course, then the knife came out and the screaming started. She glanced around a bit more, before noticing Hideo Kino ducking into a bathroom. After noticing that the others seemed to have things mostly in hand, she darted in after him, letting out a sigh of relief as Shin and Half-Moon brought up the rear, although the Obstagoon chose to stand guard outside the door, making sure none of the chaos got in to bother her trainer and the other kids congregating there.[break][break]
"Hey Hideo," she murmured. "It's getting wild out there, isn't it?" And then the Meltan showed up, and she tensed for a moment, remembering the previous dash for a one-eyed rare Pokemon, and sighed in relief when it was mentioned that it was one of Hideo's.[break][break]
"I'm sure it'll be okay," she said in a reassuring tone. "Half-Moon's outside, so she won't let anyone else in to bother us."[break][break]

"Sorry!" yelped Cardamom as one of her flying Pokeballs ended up smacking into Andy Blackadder instead. At least his Pokemon was helping him back up. Even Shin looked slightly sheepish at having missed both intended targets. At least Hideo Kino seemed pretty okay.[break][break]
"Someone reversed gravity in here!" she explained to the boy. "But at least it seems like things have kind of calmed down other than that." Shin still kind of wanted to fight whoever was doing this, but for now he was just stuck clawing randomly at the air.[break][break]

Shin growled a bit as he was smacked around in return, but at least the abnormal gravity had stopped. He glared at the Happiny, growling a slight warning to not try anything like that again. But before he could do anything else, suddenly gravity got fucked up again-only this time in reverse. Shin let out a warning growl, glaring at the pink Pokemon as if asking if it was the one to do this. However, it soon became clear the culprit was someone completely different.[break][break]
Cardamom let out a yelp as she and Half-Moon started floating into the air, alongside a giant pile of peanut shells. "No!" she wailed. "I had plans for those shells!" Plans that involved Shin, his throwing arm, and a certain aggravating CEO. Twisting around in midair, she let out a sigh, glancing around to see where Hideo Kino was. "You okay?" she called out to the kid, paddling in midair in an attempt to "swim" closer to him.[break][break]

As Cardamom began to return to her table, her knees suddenly buckled as the gravity in the room increased. "What the-?" she muttered. Shin immediately moved to grab her, but she waved him off, grabbing a Pokeball and sending out Half-Moon the Obstagoon. The badger Pokemon immediately noticed the change in the atmosphere and scooped up her trainer, starting to carry the girl carefully back towards her table. Meanwhile, Shin looked around, a growl escaping his throat as he narrowed in on Locke Jamison's Blissey. With a roar, he charged across the room towards the pink Pokemon, claws bared and ready to Slash at it. Anything to distract it from trying to drag everyone down.[break][break]

If you asked Cardamom what she expected to see next, "flying Steelix" would not have been on the list. But it was here now. Her hand drifted to one of the Pokeballs she'd been keeping in her bag, but she sighed and withdrew it. Probably not the best time to add more to the chaos. She looked over at Shin before shrugging.[break][break]
"Okay, this is getting a bit too wild for me," she said. "You wanna just go back to our seats and watch this thing unfold?" The Ursaring blinked, but finally nodded. Slowly, the two made their way back to their seats. Hopefully that Steelix wouldn't break anything before the shower itself started.[break][break]

Unlike some people, Cardamom did not plan on putting herself in danger to catch that Unown, which was why she'd been delegating to Shin. Which was why she let out a shocked gasp as Zac Ramsay nearly fell, only to sigh in relief as MATIAS SILPH caught him. She couldn't help but pause to clap at that dramatic catch for a bit, letting out a congratulatory "Woo!" Of course, part of her was still keeping an eye out for wherever that Unown might have ended up.[break][break]

Unfortunately, it appeared Shin's talents did not extend to Pokeballs. Cardamom watched in silent fascination as the Pokeball flew wide, arcing gracefully a far distance off from the question-mark Unown. Several more guests seemed to be on their way to abandoning whatever they had done before to rush further into attempted captures, and Cardamom shrugged a little before pulling out another Pokeball.[break][break]
"Second time's the charm?" she suggested, before leaning in closer. "If you can't hit it, the Silph CEO is fine too," she added in a quieter whisper. Shin nodded, grabbing the Pokeball and pausing before hurling it forwards once more. Maybe even if it missed it would roll under Fernando's feet and make him trip. She could only hope.[break][break]

Cardamom listened to the conversation about the music as it went on, even as Shin finally stopped glaring at Whisper and moved to stand beside her, leaning down for a nibble of the food. She grinned, lifting a bit for him to snap down. "Let's hope everyone here just wants to dance and enjoy the whole meteor shower experience," she said in response to Hideo Kino's speculations. "I think we're due a bit of a break, don't you?"[break][break]
Though like everyone else, she was distracted by the Unown floating into the hall. "Is that...a wild Pokemon?" she whispered. She slowly reached into her pocket, finding an empty Pokeball that she handed to Shin. "Hey, you've still go that throwing arm of yours, right?" she asked. Nodding, Shin reared back to Fling the Pokeball at the floating letter with great speed.[break][break]
