Lucas thought the woman's comment was awfully harsh for an employee. He wasn't a Karen, but damn did he want to speak to her manager. But with Priam's friends in the room Lucas restrained himself. He didn't want to scare away the boy's first and only friends that weren't him.

With no pokemon prepared for such a challenge Lucas walked over to the Rotomi. He navigated through the menus and retrieved his pinsir from storage in under a minute. Unlike FERNANDO SILPH or cait alfric Lucas didn't have an enormous amount of pokemon to navigate through.

"Get ready to catch it," Lucas said as the stag beetle pokemon placed its pincers beneath the kabutops. Through storm throw and mold breaker it managed to throw kabutops skyward towards the group of trainers.

"Yeah, it's a nice change compared to my other hobbies." Lucas interjected. While it wasn't something that got him more active it was something that got him outside.

"Really? Well I'd recommend signing up for them now. The wait for some of them can be months long. I read a review for one where the person waited almost a year." Lucas spoke of the online reviews for Alexei Ivanov 's gym.

"Did you and Alex ever train together at least?" Lucas chimed in after Daphne's last words. He didn't face her as he spoke. Instead opting to keep his eyes on the lookout for any suspicious individuals.

"Yeah of course I know what a skipping rope is." Lucas replied defensively. "I used to use them in," he rattled his head for an accurate answer. "Kindergarten."

Lucas picked up the red skipping rope gingerly. He watched Priam's demonstration for a moment. "Yep. This'll be easy."

It wasn't easy.

Lucas repeatedly mistimed his jumps. The rope hit his leg and was landed on repeatedly. With each failure he would huff and puff enough to blow down the new rocket HQ. When he finally succeeded scrapes dotted his body from each of his falls and failures.

"You know," Lucas exhales deeply. "Maybe I need to work out more often. Because that," he wipes the sweat away from his forehead. "That was exhausting."

Lucas looked nervously towards Dominic when he insulted the trainer. He was worried that their insults would get the group kicked out of the tower.

"Zack" he hissed just loud enough for the enforcer to hear. "Do you want us to get kicked out?"

Lucas released a machoke from a pokeball at his waist. "Wake-up Slap," he said moments before exploud's uproar filled the room.
Seemingly unaffected by the sound Machoke strut over to the slaking and slapped it across the face.

Lucas had a puzzled look and scrunched eyebrows when he saw the dojo student. He opened his mouth to ask if they were alright, but quickly closed it when she spoke.

"We're sorry about him," Lucas said quickly after Marcel's reprimand.

Following Priam and Marcel's lead Lucas released a pokemon with sturdy. A shiny donphan that barely got a chance to take in its surroundings before enduring the drill horn. Donphan's sturdy hide resisted the fatal damage.

When Lucas spotted the shiny donphan illeana reyes and her shiny research immediately came to mind. Keen to expand her subject pool he points to the donphan.

"Get get 'em."

The kabutops, alakazam, and grapploct immediately attack. Donphan turned around to flee but is stopped by a psychic force lifting it into the air. Donphan dangled helplessly in the air as the other two pokemo surge forward. Kabutops slammed into donphan with an aqua jet which breaks Alakazam's psychic hold. Donphan landed on its feet and began to surge down a side tunnel. Mid stride grapploct managed to wrap a tentacle around donphan's back leg. With its superpower-like strength it whipped donphan overhead into the ground.

Lucas threw a pokeball at illeana reyes 's new lab rat.

"Nah there's regulations against that now. The government deemed it 'too unethical.'" Lucas put air quotes around the last bit. "That and the machines and stuff are only built for fossils. Pokemon that died are a much bigger task to tackle." The imagine of a dead diancie and victini popped into his mind. "Trust me, I've looked into it."

Lucas began heading towards the house at a leisurely pace. "Now, why don't we look for some apartments?"
