The Life Dew certainly felt quite refreshing, even if it kept her from properly drying out. Healing moves were always bizarre, but she did feel the pain in her sides lessen slightly as she let out a quiet sigh. Tiny for his part, simply let out a quiet call out in thanks. His wounds still weren't fully recovered, but he had quite a large amount of skin to cover as well.

As Skyler laid down beside her, Celeste kept her eyes closed, simply placing her hands atop her chest. The challenge of the storm... It was a form of growth, for sure. Through the trials of adversity, strength blossoms afterward.

However, her words about patching her up just simply encouraged a small smirk to spread across her face. "You have already done more than enough tonight for my sake." The assistance escaping from the Nihilego's grasp, the help aboard the ship, the flight and multiple various heals over the course of the night. Perhaps in the future, she'd continue to feel in debt, and desperate to continue to prove her capability to stand on her own, but right now all she could think about was how exhausted she was.

Only when Skyler spoke again did she open her eyes, tilting her head to look over at her. They'll manage? It was a strange sort of feeling, realizing that this woman genuinely was happy she was still alive. She recognized it earlier, but every time it still surprised her. She wasn't used to kindness. It was typically just a formality in the world that she experienced. But to Skyler, it was as casual as a smile.

Maybe she could put up with a few saccharine statements every now and then if they were this genuine.

"I think... I'm going to stay here for a while." She spoke quietly with a whisper, eyes glancing back up at the stars. "Just come wake me up when the medical team inevitably arrives, will you? Right now, I don't feel like moving."

Notes:
Celeste might sleep.

"Yeah," Celeste replied quietly as she heard Skyler speak. She knew someone was arriving from the sound of a pokemon approaching over the water, but she wasn't entirely sure who it was until they spoke. Even with her eyes closed, she could easily narrow in on the shaky tone to her voice. It was almost as if she was scared... Scared that she was dead, perhaps? Or just still nerves from the confrontation? It was hard to say, but it certainly did bring the faintest hint of a smile to the corners of her lips.

Finally opening her eyes, Celeste would turn her head slowly to look at the woman. She had to admit, it was genuinely quite nice to see someone who at least attempted to show concern for her, even if her facial expression really didn't show it. "Yeah, it's me."

Letting out a quiet sigh, Celeste turned her head back to look up at the stars. She used to know the constellations by heart, knowing all the stars in the sky. But right now, that information seemed much less important. They were just, simply beautiful. And that was all she needed. "I'm fine. Or, I will be fine. One of those two."

She sighed softly, moving to wave Skyler aboard should she wish to do so. It took her clearly quite a bit of energy to even sit up, her breathing picking up quite a bit as she finally managed to get into an upright position. Rather than talk about Kyogre, or potentially anything involving the aftermath of the war, Celeste had seemingly decided it was best to pretend, at least for a moment, everything was fine.

"... The breeze always feels so gentle after a storm. At least, to me it does." She was soaked to the bone and the cold air certainly wasn't doing much good for her. And yet, she seemed to enjoy it. Giving up on her attempts to sit up, Celeste slowly laid herself back down, eyes closed once more. It was extremely obvious just how tired and exhausted she was, despite trying her best. Underneath the wetsuit, there were almost certainly large bruises up her sides from when the Nihilego tentacle had wrapped around her, but that could be handled later.

She paused for a few moments, growing eerily still once more before interrupting the silence. "Are we ever going to see one another at a time where at least one of our lives aren't immediately in peril? That might be nice."

Notes:
Celeste is still tired.

Beneath the surface, the water still flows dangerously all around, the currents shifting to and fro with no understandable predictability to them due to their incredibly sudden and tempestuous nature of the water due to Kyogre's arrival. However, deep beneath the waves, Celeste was perfectly suited to open her eyes and watch as Kyogre dived back into the sea.

Desperately holding her breath, Celeste watched in awe as she saw her goddess leap out of the water, only to dive back down with a glorious cry. Before she could even think to attempt to follow, Kyogre swam away down into the darkness of the ocean. As soon as the waters began to recede, Celeste's pokemon quickly surged up towards the surface.

Breaching out of the water on the back of her Wishiwashi, Celeste collapsed against the school of fish as she breathed heavily, taking it all in. The waters level was sinking back to its normal level, the seaside town practically destroyed, but there were still plenty of people on the mountain. With the sight of being dragged back ashore, Celeste's eyes continued to scan around, attempting to find . Hopefully, they were somewhere safe.

She would attempt to call out, but everything had absolutely drained her energy. She could hardly breathe, let alone speak. Her exhausted body simply rested atop her pokemon. Those foul invaders were gone, Lilycove and theoretically Hoenn was safe for now. But Kyogre... those markings remained even as they left. Just what was it? It wasn't anything she had seen before.

Gently patting the school, Celeste whispered hoarsely between a few coughs. "T-take... me out to sea. Let me see." They traveled slowly this time, swimming out into the horizon for quite a bit before Celeste patted them to ask them to stop. They were pretty far away from shore now, but all she really wanted was to just be out on the open water away from the troubles of man. "This is fine... Just enough."

With a struggle, Celeste slowly sat up and attempted to get her bearings. She might be alive, but the guilt would inevitably make her feel like she should be dead. With a heavy sigh, the young woman just slowly sat back and looked out across the horizon. The surface of the sea reflecting back the silver moon in the sky, an oddly peaceful sight considering the horrors of war from just before.

Man might find ways to attempt to bend nature to its will, to impose their dominion over its strength and endless power. But nature always has a way of proving men's folly, of taking back what it desired and finding a way to heal. Perhaps, Kyogre needed that time to heal too. "Blessed divine," she began, giving a soft few words of prayer. "Be at peace. Those markings... I will help you. This I swear."

Giving up on trying to sit upright and balance upon the school of fish, Celeste sent out her Wailord beneath her, allowing it to lift her up as she recalled her Wishiwashi instead, letting the school of fish go free. Laying down on her back atop the Wailord, Celeste's eyes gazed up at the sky as she spoke softly to her pokemon. "Do you think... I did the right thing?"

Of course, they couldn't respond in any way she would understand. Her Dhelmise remained quiet, simply floating in the ocean. The Wailord however, let out a soft cry that echoed across the sea briefly. She might not have understood it but the intent was pretty clear to her. Celeste gently patted Tiny's back as she laid there, closing her eyes. "Thank you, big guy..."

Celeste's eyes would remain closed as she floated atop the Wailord, letting the gentle rocking and the ocean breeze cool and soothe her nerves. The war was won for today, her pokemon played their parts, it time to rest.

Notes:
Celeste is tired.

Celeste might not be prepared for 's appearence, but that doesn't stop her from paying attention. Especially as the woman erected walls and defenses, attempting to seperate them and everyone else from Kyogre. She couldn't devote energy into watching, trying to focus on avoiding the dangerous lasers of energy being shot in every direction, but that didn't mean the young woman couldn't listen.

She was shouting and praising, with the intention behind the words were clear as day. She was offering her life in exchange for peace... A notion Celeste would have found laughable if they were in any other situation

One can not barter with death, one can only delay the inevitable. Death will come regardless of offering or sacrifices, one way or another. The only difference was how you chose to spend your life. Perhaps it was foolish, to assume that you had any control over life, but... sometimes the ocean breeze will blow you where you wanted to go.

"Please... Rest, my goddess. Fools they may be, they desire to help." Celeste whispered to herself as the whole rock wall crumbled upon itself as a massive form pushed through it. Tapu Koko, that's the only thing that made sense given the head on the strange form. She understood that their avatar was here, but to reveal such strength was admittedly impressive, even as the mere sight of it moving to strike Kyogre terrified her. They might be cursed with this foul energy from the invaders but her guilt for allowing Kyogre to come to harm refused to fade.

Unfortunately, it seemed the electricity began to spread across the water towards her and that was an immediate death sentence should it strike her. She wasn't strong enough to fight against the electricity, her body would be helpless, floating amongst the currents and an easy target for Kyogre's attacks in this form.

"Kelp, take us down. Fast." She quietly mumbled as she took in a deep breath. Suddenly, with a PHANTOM FORCE, Celeste blinked out of existence with her pokemon in her attempts to keep dodging all attacks heading her way. Hopefully reforming deep beneath the waves and practically amongst the flooded seaside town, clutching tight to her Pokemon. She simply had to continue to put her faith into her pokemon to keep her safe.

Faith hadn't failed her so far and hopefully, it never would.

Notes:
Celeste reacts and keeps dodging.
Dhelmise uses PHANTOM FORCE to appear them amongst the ruins of the seaside town underwater to dodge the electricity.

the ghost before the storm [dw]

It didn't take an expert to figure out that the young woman was scared, especially with the way her reaction was so instant. Years of ripping people off based on how they reacted to her words surely have refined her ability to read people, but this was so obvious Celeste couldn't help but smirk slightly. Afraid of Dhelmise? Understandably so. They were not typically a friendly Pokemon, then again many of her pokemon were terrifying things to many sailors, but it still amused her to see the way she was utterly terrified and yet still climbed anyways.

Even when she climbed out of the hole, still kneeling down and shaking Celeste had to commend her. She was terrified and overcame that fear. An admirable trait, at least. She wasn't allowing her weakness to condemn her to death. Good. It wouldn't look good if someone as muscular as she was had been stopped entirely by a single ghost, otherwise, this ship was a death sentence for them already and this was all futile.

When she finally looked up at her, Celeste simply gave the faintest whisper of a smile in return as she returned her Dhelmise back to its Pokeball. "Celeste. Be careful standing up, your back will need plenty of time to heal." She didn't offer a hand to help Skyler stand to her feet, simply because there wasn't much Celeste could do. If anything, Celeste was more likely to be pulled down. Instead, Celeste simply offered her parasol over as a temporary cane. Right now, it seemed this stranger could use it more than she could.

Considering the darkness of the room, and the woman's flashlight was still exactly where it had rolled, Celeste simply reached into the suit pocket and pulled out her phone. Only to just suddenly toss it straight into the air as it sparked and seemingly came to life. The back of the phone lit up as two bright eyes stared at the two women with a large smile on its face. This was of course her Rotom at work, he had taken quite heavily to her phone and she could hardly complain, it was extremely useful.

"Voltergeist, light the path for us if you please." The Rotom seemingly let out a little ringtone in response, only for the flashlight to suddenly flicker on and shine on the two girls. Thanking them with a nod of her head, Celeste simply motioned for Skyler to follow her across the room. Moving slowly and carefully, it eventually became quite clear that someone had laid down a few carpets across the floor she walked, likely taken from more stable sections of the ship to showcase safe places to walk.

Once Celeste was back over where she originally had been standing, a small set of couches could be seen. They were certainly old and raggedy but seemed to otherwise be holding up decently. Seemed like this used to be a lounging area, long before the ship became what it is today. "Lay down. On your stomach. If you are to stay here and survive the night, or at least until the storm dies, we need to make sure this doesn't get infected." Already, Celeste seemed to be digging into her bag that she had left over here, pulling out a surprisingly large first aid kit.

"This might sting." That was a lie. It absolutely was going to sting with an injury like that. But people weren't often a fan of being told the truth. Regardless, the excitable Rotom continued to light up the area, even as lightning occasionally flashed outside and rocked the ship.

Faith was a powerful thing, the only thing driving Celeste forwards through the dangerous waves, clutching onto her Wishiwashi for dear life as they ascended back to the surface for her to breathe. It was a shaky, desperate breath as her eyes locked onto Kyogre's flailing body once more.

Faith was what kept her strong, that the ocean would never forsake her. For whenever she lacked income for food she simply could have gone fishing. Whenever she needed to get away she could always float out into the sea and just let the waves carry her somewhere she's never been before. So long as she always respected the ocean and the true power that it has, it's never betrayed her. There's always been a healthy balance of respect and fear... knowing that if the ocean desired it could have swallowed her up and never let her go.

The tears continue to pour down her face as she fights the inner instinct to just fling herself at Kyogre's side to attempt to calm her but in this state... That meant death. There had to be a better way, a different way. "B-blessed daughter of A-Arceus, be still... This foolish servant of yours desires to see you rest in safety."

Slowly struggling to sit as upright as she could, Celeste only managed to get up onto her knees before the waves threatened to knock her off. Shaking visibly, she forcibly pushed back her nerves as she began to shout out loud. Her voice still weak, yet empowered with every ounce of strength she can muster even as she couldn't stop crying.

"KYOGRE!"

Faith was a dangerous thing, something that pushed even the most logical of men to do something utterly completely foolish. And yet, right now Celeste had never felt saner in her life. Perhaps that was the scary part. She wasn't afraid to die, only afraid of what her death might mean for those around her... The small few who seemed to care.

A large beam of energy fired in her direction, thankfully missing Celeste and her small party of pokemon. A desperate, pleading tone filled her voice as she shouted out as loud as her struggling energy could muster, arms wide and open. "Please! Return to your peaceful slumber blessed life-bringer! The beasts are no more, you may rest! Please, expel this energy those foul invaders have dealt upon you! I'm begging you, dearest Kyogre, please be calm! Rest, my goddess, and bring peace with you!"

Faith was what would keep her safe. Faith would carry her through till the very end. And should that end come soon, Celeste was ready. There is nothing she wouldn't give for her goddess, nothing. Including her life... But hopefully, it wouldn't come to that. Faith would see her through, faith would see her god restored.

After all, faith was all she had.

Notes:
Celeste cries out to Kyogre, begging.

Humiliation. It burns within every fiber of her being as she has to be helped to stay on her feet. He's strong, stronger than he looks. It's regrettable that she has to rely on his assistance to even stay standing, her parasol slowly finding purchase against the ground once again as she supported herself somewhat. Her legs were still incredibly shaky, struggling to balance.

As he motioned to sit down, Celeste simply nodded her head. The natural instinct would be to continue to reach for him to help her walk to the bench but Celeste promptly refuses. He's already seen too much of her weakness already, despite never commenting on it. There was no need to treat him like some kind of confidant. Gavin was a co-worker, her boss now actually, that was simply all it was.

Her walk was slow and deliberate, each step moving with careful precision until she finally managed to sit down. Celeste's pale face was somehow even paler, and a trained observer might notice her breathing had picked up a bit, despite her obvious attempts to hide it.

Finally, he asks a question and allows her to forget about her humiliation for a brief moment of time. With a soft breath, Celeste finally began. "For the Abbiatti... the water has always held a special place amongst my family and their ancestors." She paused, perhaps this was knowledge that was too obvious. Perhaps not. Growing within this sphere of knowledge, it was hard to tell how much or how little outsiders knew, considering Olivia used to be a member of the League Council.

"The ocean is more than a way of life, it is so much more. For its gentle waves provide life for all living things, yet its forceful storms end life all the same. Lugia..." Celeste would pause, clearing her throat and trying to speak as directly as she could so her words are not misinterpreted.

"Lugia is the guardian of the seas. The one who dwells beneath the waves in slumber as it knows its mere power alone could destroy everything man-kind has created. It is said that flapping its wings alone may cause a storm 40 days long that can blow houses apart with even the slightest of movements, or even calm the storms before they grow out of control. All who dwell on this earth have much to thank them for, for every day it has contained its power for the sake of its love for life, and quelled nature's destructive wrath for us." It went unstated that now it likely had no more intent to contain its power, that was all dependent on Gavin. It was simply a weapon to be pointed in a direction.

Celeste finally lets out a quiet sigh, her eyes staring at the beast ball before turning her head and looking up at the ceiling of the submarine. "To see its love for life gone is a corruption of nature as a whole. It... disheartens me."

Turning her eyes back over to Gavin, Celeste sat up a bit straighter as she steeled her gaze a bit. "Let it be known that I do not judge you, nor Rocket for what has happened to the divine beast." After all, it was said that some Ultra Beasts were the ones that corrupted it. For all she is aware, perhaps Rocket finding them is what saved their life. "However, I can not remain silent. With everything I have seen, I can only come to one conclusion."

She pauses for a brief moment, slowly looking back up at the ceiling once more as she attempts to calm her breath. "Lugia is safest with you, and that is all that matters to me." Gavin likely wasn't about to simply abuse Lugia's power, that seemed obvious from the time she had spent with the man. If it was in the hands of any other rocket, she could expect the storms to practically never fade up above. "You have shown yourself more than capable, on multiple matters. I simply... ask to be informed over Lugia's condition, should you discover more and find me worthy. As your subordinate, I have no right to demand such actions, of course. But let it be known that you will not find one other Rocket aboard this submarine who understands Lugia more than I, who they used to be."

As soon as they landed, Celeste shakily stood to her feet and almost immediately began to try and slip away. However, she would find a hand holding onto hers. Surprised, Celeste looked back just enough to see locking eyes with her. For perhaps moment she expected to be held back, to be coddled once again like a lost puppy. Instead... she was only asked not to die before flying away once more.

Once flew away, Celeste simply nodded her head as she walked away with a distressed look upon her face. She couldn't promise that. When her death came, it would come. While she might attempt to prevent her death and others around her, if it was time there would be nothing she could do. If Kyogre commanded it... Celeste wasn't sure what she would do.

Despite the overwhelming danger, Celeste wasn't satisfied just remaining on the edge of the mountain. She needed to be in the water, regardless of how dangerous it was. The water was her home, where she felt safe, it only felt fitting. Even as the tears continued to pour down her face, Celeste sent out her Wishiwashi to join her Dhelmise in the water, it's SCHOOL quickly forming once again.

Celeste made the mistake of glancing up and seeing everyone attacking Kyogre, it almost broke her heart. The instinctive desire was to strike back at all who dare hurt her Goddess... but she had already struck too. Her hands were red with the metaphorical blood. The guilt had never stun so badly. She knew that those foul invaders did something to her, but it felt like sacrilege to even raise a finger... but maybe Kyogre would understand, the peaceful soul would never wish so much violence.

Please understand.

"B-blessed be thy name, Kyogre, shaper of the seas and life-bringer." Her words were slow and deliberate, even as she climbed aboard her Wishiwashi and urged it to simply get moving. Sitting in one place was a death sentence at this rate. Her Dhelmise quickly followed behind, traveling around to try and get a more opportune angle and hopefully avoid being struck by those powerful beams of energy.

"F-for you to have graced us with your presence a-alone... is an honor I could never deserve." She's silently motioning for her Pokemon to strike at the LEFT FIN, even as she continues to pray directly towards the legendary Pokemon. Her hands shake rather dramatically she clutches onto her Wishiwashi's school, as a GIGA DRAIN attempts to rip the energy away from Kyogre. Meanwhile, her Wishiwashi sets up an AQUA RING, to at least attempt to defend should the worse come to pass.

Celeste is having to struggle to keep herself talking when every inch of her body is screaming for her to run. Her chest is heaving as she speaks, barely whispering. "I humbly offer myself... a-as your loyal servant, C-celeste Abbiatti. F-for your true gentle soul knows no bounds..." The parallels to her first meeting with Lugia are obvious, her words had never escaped her memory, and now they certainly never would.
"F-for even as you are... I have faith." Celeste takes a deep breath of air as her pokemon suddenly dive underwater, dodging a large pulse of energy that struck somewhere nearby. The buildings sunken beneath the waves stared up at her as if it was foretelling her fate.

Not today.

Today she would fight to rescue her goddess or die trying. Perhaps, in the end, Kyogre will see it fit to leave her with her life despite her decision to attempt to meddle in the affairs of gods. Perhaps she still deserved death, but only time would tell the truth.

She still had faith yet.

Water seemed to envelop her and her companion as they flew, protecting them from the lasers being fired way. Her attention was entirely focused on her Wailord leaving her unable to see what precisely exploded up above or why the wind suddenly swept over them with such speed to boost their flight, but she wasn't about to question it. These unexplained questions can be answered in time, but they are of no concern at the moment.

The whales dropping from the sky are suddenly struck with lasers from the bricks, but luckily it seems Tiny is safe for the time being. The other whales are injured but nothing seems to show that they are on immediate death. She's not entirely sure where the sandstorm comes from, but everyone else swarming in to attack the various bricks and destroy the beast as much as possible certainly was an enjoyable sight. Before she can inspect the wailords, Celeste's attention is stolen quite dramatically by the surging waves and the reveal of what hid beneath.

Kyogre.

Celeste's heart stopped as she watched, almost in slow motion, as the beam of light struck Kyogre with such force. The very moment she witnessed Kyogre plummet back into the waves and flail, she practically shouted with a desperate urgency in her voice. "Take us down! Now!"

Kyogre couldn't be hurt... It just wasn't possible. What the hell did those aliens do? Kyogre's entire form seemed to change, almost like some twisted form of mega evolution. With such heavy rain beating down, the sea level itself begins to rise and flood the entire seaside town below. Such devastation... Was this truly what Kyogre desired? Or was this some feeble attempt to manipulate and control a goddess itself?

The scary part was that it seemed to be working. Beams of light surround her that quickly burn into the island down below, ripping apart rock and disintegrating people alive without a second thought... Her form vastly altered and shaken to a terrifying degree. People are crowding for the higher ground, but Celeste knows it won't last long. The ocean always takes what it wants.

Staring in disbelief, Celeste shouted once more. "Get down! Now!" Glancing back at with a serious look on her face, Celeste reached back to her Pokeball and quickly returned Tiny so he could rest for a brief moment, as well as not be such a large target for those terrifying beams of light.

The young, sickly woman didn't understand what to do. Even as a beam struck the Trammel and destroyed it, Kyogre remained the same. This pained, twisted version... It briefly reminded her of the Shadow Lugia in Rocket's possession. Just how much pain were they in? If Kyogre deemed it, Celeste would have walked straight to her death with a smile. But this... this was raw power unleashed. Uncontrolled and senseless destruction.

It didn't take a genius to know what others would do. They'll strike back. Foolish people thinking that they could challenge a goddess... but, she could not blame them. It was human nature to fight for survival, even if it might be hopeless. Celeste's heart was rapidly beating inside her chest as she struggled to internally debate, eventually making a decision.

She was going to fight.

It didn't feel good, and the guilt was impossible to repress. The tears already were beginning to pour down her face, hidden behind the heavy rains that poured all around them. There were no options. It was this... or let Kyogre struggle in pain. Perhaps if she can have her Dhelmise drain the energy, maybe things will be okay. She could hope... With almost inaudible whispers, Celeste began to pray. "Please... forgive me for my selfish acts, sister of the ground-shaker. I am but mortal flesh, imperfect..."

Shaking rather visibly, Celeste turned her attention to Dhelmise floating down below. Within the water, he was just as he always was. With a very shaky tone to her voice, Celeste shouted. "G-GIGA DRAIN!" The pokemon reared back, aiming for the large translucent organ on the LEFT FIN. Even it could sense the hesitation in their trainer's voice, but an order was an order.

The pillars collapsed all down from around the city and Celeste finally let out a soft sigh of relief as things seemed to appear to be going well. However, the bright light from the eastern sky intrigued her. There shouldn't be any fighting anywhere else... what was going on? All that she knew was that the warm light suddenly had her feeling invigorated. Her shortness of breath and exhaustion vanished almost completely. As if... for once, she felt healthy. It was almost emotional. However before she could whisper a quiet thanks to whatever force caused that, the hail truly began.

It was almost impossible to see, but the sound of the loud crash confirmed that her Wailord had struck its intended target. Good. As they continued to fly forwards, however, Celeste suddenly heard shout and wrap her arms around her. Immediately responding to the warning, Celeste's arms clutched around the Salamence as best as she could, holding tight. It seemed those bricks had even more of a mind of their own. Great.

It was an uncomfortable feeling, putting her own safety into the hands of one another. However, with Jaspers out of commission, Leviathan unable to fly, and Kelporeal following them behind closer towards the ground, her pokemon weren't exactly capable in this environment. For now, Celeste would have to remain patient as 's pokemon dodged and attacked the bricks and their lasers. And then, the Wailord appeared and launched itself at the beast as well and Celeste couldn't help but chuckle, especially as another Wailord from someone else entirely ( ) appeared and began to head for it too. What a sight to behold.

Celeste's Dhelmise continued to follow closer towards them as they flew towards the mountain, using another PHANTOM FORCE to fade into the shadows and move. However, Celeste's attention was almost entirely consumed by the soft sound of chirping following rain slowly replacing the snow and hail... She couldn't see too well, but the mere outline of what she thought she saw encouraged her. A man flying in the sky was covered in Phione and they were on their side. Perhaps there would be time for questions later, to attempt to see the children of her faith and whom this mysterious figure was, but right now all she felt was hope. They were here, there was a silver lining after all.

Quickly turning her attention back to the mountain and their intended destination, Celeste quickly yelled at the top of her lungs. With the light, her exhaustion had vanished for the moment and she was eager to properly yell as loud as she possibly could, possibly as loud as she had ever been. "Tiny! You got incoming company! Stay strong!"

The Wailord was being boxed in from every side, attempted to be fried alive with the lasers. Trusting in her trainer that help was indeed coming, they quickly set up a PROTECT. The forcefield spreading across their entire body, hopefully resisting the worst of the attacks at least just long enough to break free when help arrived. Still exerting PRESSURE, hoping that it could simply outlast the beast, any bit helped.

As the ship arrives against the island, Celeste lets out a soft sigh as the two bug-like beasts were successfully slain. Perhaps it wasn't a bad idea to make sure that the drowned corpse of the Buzzwole was taken to Team Rocket, that no doubt would prove to be quite useful. Her eyes narrow as she internally debates, there would be time to return for it later.

Before she can question it too much, healing water from 's Lapras washes over her, and once again she's slowly starting to feel better. When would she ever stop being indebted to her? Regardless, the obvious invitation to join her atop her Salamence didn't go ignored. Attacking from the air certainly would be advantageous... There was no reason to turn down the offer. Turning to her remaining pokemon, Celeste would quickly shout out orders. "Kelporeal, PHANTOM FORCE into town, follow us as best as you can." The Dhelmise blinked in acknowledgment as Celeste moved to recall her Wishiwashi for the time being and quickly poofed off into a shadowy void to appear in town and strike at some unfortunate Megalopolan troops.

Slowly climbing up onto the Salamence, likely with some assistance, however, they suddenly took off into the sky. Rather quickly it was obvious that everyone was focusing their efforts on the pillars located around the seaside town that erected themselves and for good reason. Their glowing was certainly upsetting. However, Celeste's attention was on something else entirely.

A massive walking building was not something she saw every single day, however, there was no doubt that it would only spell bad news should it be left ignored for long enough. Reaching for her Pokeball, Celeste would calmly warn with a few words. "Careful where you  fly... It's time for these aliens to get some payback." They attempted to end her life and she would surely repay the kindness. Shouting with all of her energy as loud as she could, Celeste would send out her Wailord high into the sky. "Tiny!" The Z-Power inside of the massive Wailord already building as it began to fall. "SUPERSONIC SKYSTRIKE!"

Immediately, the wailord would let out a loud, terrible roar as its massive form was suddenly surrounded by winds, launching itself straight into the sky like an incredibly dangerous and mobile blimp. Its eyes locking onto the massive Stakataka even from so high up, Tiny roared once again as it suddenly began to drop. Shooting down with incredible speed as it aimed straight for it, Tiny was ready to slam into the Ultra Beast with every single ounce of its physical might. Even if it missed, the incredible impact alone would hopefully destroy their resolve and cripple the enemy forces.

the ghost before the storm [dw]

She was injured, that much was obvious. Celeste had arrived just in time to watch the young woman crawl back up a metal beam. It was dark and she couldn't see the figure well but only a fool would assume a fall like that would leave someone entirely unscathed. As she finally spoke, Celeste slowly tilted her head as she debated to herself.

Why were they here? There hadn't been anyone else when she had arrived, which meant it must have been quite a rather recent arrival. Judging by the storm still raging outside, she could only assume that they were simply attempting to wait out the storm. Finding pity for the young woman, Celeste slowly moved to grab a Pokeball from her bag. Even she could understand the ferocity of a storm at sea, for one unprepared for such.

"Yes." It was a soft tone, betraying her curiosity. Slowly, Celeste sent out her Dhelmise. The massive pokemon hardly fit within the interior of the ship, with its anchor already resting down within the hole her strange visitor had fallen down into. "Kelporeal, help our... friend here. Will you?"

The ghost pokemon's eye locked onto Skyler as it began to move with an eerie quiet nature to them. Lowering its anchor, the kelp chain would certainly be easy enough to climb should she wish. Or perhaps they could sit atop the anchor and be lifted upwards. Regardless, Celeste would give them the opportunity to rescue herself. She could do that at the very least. Leaving the woman to die here would be pointless. Death came for them all someday, but there was no reason for that day to be today.

"... When you get back up here, I'll lead you across the floor to a safe place to sit. This part of the ship is quite unsafe." The danger was left obviously unsaid, walking across the floor with wild abandon was sure to cause another collapse if Skyler wasn't careful. Not to mention, the woman surely would need first aid of some kind. That meant she was going to need to get into her own supplies... What a night this turned out to be.
