news about some openings of apartments in mauville reached kazimir's ears and he decided to come check them out as he's heard they were pretty luxurious for their price range. they were still a bit right about his budget but maybe he could work out some kind of deal or find something closer to town that's a bit more affordable because living in a cave had its perks but sometimes he missed having the utility of an actual goddamn kitchen to cook for himself and not some portable stove.

As the elevator dinged kazimir was welcomed with a large side next to the door welcoming guests to their open house event as well as complimentary malasadas. "well...don't mind if i do." taking both a pamplhet showing the floor plans of different apartments as well as a tasty treat he went about looking for something for him. perhaps one with space for a workshop for his pokkenger needs or a rotomi pc that he could call his pokemon out of.

"mmm...you got anything with a bit more....ceiling?" he asked as he looked into the studio apartment that was very...short. even at his full height his head was only a few centimeters off of touching the ceiling. it was spacious enough but the fact that he could touch the top without even lifting his hand up high was really making him claustrophobic. so that was definitely a pass.

"ok let's try something else....maybe something cheaper too?" to think that was supposed to be one of their mmore priciest places around here as well, that was the part that was the most insane to him. who would pay money for that? probably a really short person, or a place for a pokemon to stay in. the latter was something he had seen before but they were usually not well decorated for people.

well this other one wasn't bad as the last one as it was actually taller than it as well as was much more spacious to the point that he could probably bring home a few members of his team in here and give them some shared rooms. the only problem was the fact that it seemed to have some occupants already; namely some bunnerbies that were hoping around dragging mud all over the place with their feet. now that wouldn't be a big deal, cleaning was something that the retail company would handle...or so he thought before they told him that their contracts forbade it and it would fall on the fault of the renter to do that.

"ok you almost had me. almost. but c'mon all the cleaning bill is left to me? yeah your a little crazy." was what he told the seller and then promptly left in search of something. honestly he'd take someone with peeling carpet or wallpaper over the mess that a small farm like that apartment was than anything else.

"ok this one will do! this is perfect!" sure enough he found one that was just right for him, lots of space, within his price range, and no pokemon running around making a mess of the place. he was quick to sign the papers that the landlord gave to him and let him tour the room for a few extra minutes to admire his new purchase. "can't wait to have a nice house warming party here, could actually fit a few people in here."

as he looked over everything there was something that caught his eye, a house plant that was tucked away in the corner near the kitchen. "oh, guess its an early house warming-wait a minute..." that was here dring the open house wasn't it? apparantly not as the tree started to move and reveal itself as a trevenant that somehow managed to make it all the way up here. "oh not again, i just put down a down payment on this place!" kaz yelled as he took out a ball and threw it at the ghost tree to shut it up and stop it from making a mess of his new home.
