[attr="class","beck"]on a different night, theo finds himself back at the battle tent. his intentions are the same as last: he's looking for someone like ashton (Razz Kingsman ), someone who's capable both physically and mentally, and someone who isn't afraid to win no matter what. it's what's required of MAGMA, after all.

will he find it in vela?

he's already clicking an order even before the announcer starts the battle. a PSYCHO CUT flies towards the seaking, intending to catch it off guard.

"here to blow off some steam?"

[attr="class","beck"]tch. the RAIN DANCE will be a problem. it drowns out sounds, making it difficult for him to command. he clicks thrice, each with varying pitch, and takes advantage of the brief moment he has before all else is drowned by water.

unlike the seaking, malamar shifts away and starts moving backwards. its arms wrap around the seaking as the MEGAHORN rams against its body, and the moment impact is made, its arms slap, suctioning on in a damaging REVERSAL.

with mere inches separating their eyes, malamar begins its HYPNOSIS.

[attr="class","beck"]they need to break the SUBSTITUTE but his clicks are drowned out by the rain. he doesn't panic, however, and instead simply speaks his orders. it's not what he's used to but he needs to adapt.

"break it."

it takes a second for the command to register but when it does, malamar releases its grip and falls back just in time for the MEGAHORN to miss its midsection. it hits one of its tentacles instead, but it does little to deter it from slashing twice with PSYCHO CUTS.

[attr="class","beck"]theo spares a glance up and notices the dark clouds that once loomed are starting to thin. is that what's making the seaking so fast? he's left to ponder on it as the WATERFALL connects. he yells out a command right as it does:

"evade."

malamar bends and contorts, avoiding the MEGAHORN. it then shoots a tentacle forward, dragging the scythe-like fin across seaking's body for a FOUL PLAY before lunging backwards, creating distance.

[attr="class","beck"]the prior command carries their next few moves. SUPERSONIC is dilluted enough by the rain for malamar to simply shift out of the way. it continues slithering backwards, creating more distance as it throws another PSYCHO CUT to prod at the SUBSTITUTE.

the clouds continue to thin.

[attr="class","beck"]the rain subsides just enough to warrant a click of his tongue right as the seaking charges towards them. malamar reacts, slithering past the WATERFALL to avoid it.

at the same time, it brings its tentacles up to both ears, covering them as the SUPERSONIC is blasted. it feigns a reaction, a slight drop of a tentacle, and though it isn't CONFUSED, it sure acts the part.

click.

it rocks back and forth, appearing loopy, and sends a PSYCHO CUT into the wet ground. it waits for its moment.

malamar evades the first and takes the second MEGAHORN. the impact almost knocks it out as it's sent flying backwards. it uses the momentum to rotate in the air, and as one of its tentacles comes down, it sends a sharp PSYCHO CUT soaring not at the seaking, but at its trainer.
