The next thing he encountered made him do a double-take. Even if it wasn’t an Ice-type, there was something… considerably off about it. He couldn’t place what it was though. Thankfully, the rumbling of the ground gave him a few seconds warning to literally jump into the air and forcibly made him sprout the ice wings as the Stunfisk shook the entire area with a powerful Fissure attack! “What the hell!” he exclaimed as he hovered above the violently-trembling ground. “Geez, man!” he added a few moments later. ‘Aha, so that’s how you can call my…our shared blessing? A dire situation?’ he heard a familiar voice snark in his head. “What are you talking about—of course the damned thing almost caused a cave-in! I’m not going to fall down there!” he retorted back, pinching the bridge of his nose as he adjusted his height to stay above the ‘damage zone’. Unfortunately the Stunfisk had other ideas, and this time let loose with a Discharge attack that shook the airspace above the ground. “What the actual fuck?!” Lars exclaimed again as he was forced to stick to a wall to prevent himself from getting shot down—geez, why did all the Pokémon he meet in Shoal Cave always have to resort to violence?! ‘Tick tock. If you don’t outsmart this one you’ll end up dead.’“I know! Are you mocking me?!” he retorted, taking a deep breath to calm down. ‘Maybe I am. Either way, deal with it, and quickly.’Lars could only sigh at how bossy the Articuno was—before the Stunfisk let rip with another Fissure that shook the cave violently. How was he going to handle this? A few moments later, he unballed his Altaria, Nami, before pointing at the smirking little shit. “Ice Beam! No quarter!”The Altaria let out a shriek of alarm, but Lars held fast. “You heard me!”Before the Stunfisk could charge up another attack, a powerful blast of arctic energy came from the Altaria, before a sneaky, supplementary blast of ice magic trailed alongside the Ice-type attack, catching the strange flat…thing by surprise. “Geez, what a pain,” Lars grumbled as he finally unstuck himself from the wall where he had perched onto, and lobbed an empty Pokéball at the frozen Stunfisk. catching Stunfisk@tag
