The noise that erupted the moment the last attack struck the Larvesta before tipping it over and knocking it down and out grew louder the moment the commentator picked up on it, yelling the results to whoever was watching this match so late in the day.

Maybe it was a good thing the Accelgor had done that last-second.

Walking across the sandy arena, Lars then gave a pat on the Accelgor’s head before looking over where his opponent stood.

“You’ll have one powerful Volcarona when they evolve, you know,” he said with a grin on his face.

Accelgor won the battle!

Still wearing that smile, Mason ran towards where Vesty was. He picked it up carefully and cradled it. ”Hey buddy, you did great.”. Vesty was weak and couldn’t move, but he could still look at his owner with his blue eyes. The Larvesta seemed to be happy despite losing.

Mason looked up at the other trainer who spoke about how Vesty will one day turn into a powerful Volcarona. ”I’m sure Vesty will ask for a rematch by then,”, he chuckled softly, knowing how his Pokemon liked to battle and compete.

”I’m sure he will always remember this day and your Tristan, thank you for giving him the chance.”.
