Admittedly the plan has more holes than a Kalosian Cheese. It isn't a particularly smart plan either, but that has never stopped Skyler before - and it definitely wouldn't now. Feeling confident after Kyle's approval and the gulp that she takes from a flask strapped to her hip, the ship captain nods and makes for the seashore house, ball in hand.

Of course, there's someone there when she goes to return the ball. And of course, that someone immediately demands due payment for property damage (the hell?), as well as giving Skyler a very drawn out lecture about responsibility and duty and a bunch of other things the captain doesn't really care about, and which will be forgotten as soon as she turns to walk away.

She's not at all surprised when the champion seems to have vanished in the time between last talking to him and wrangling her way out of yet another lecture.

"I'll get him next time we meet at the ren-faire." Bonnie just blinks up at Skyler, a stolen brand-new ball in his mouth.
