As they made their way to the bar, the barrage of questions comes at high speed.

"Well... Sucking up my ego in gym fights is hard." He began with a laugh. "Took me a while to get used to fighting for something other than winning. But I enjoy the job! I've been spreading out a few badges here and there throughout the tourney."

His face flared up as Eva went on to mention, well...

He pursed his lips and looked away, blushing hard as he grabbed his cap and pulled it down slightly.

"I- it's... Going. I think." He said. "She's out of Hoenn at the moment... As you well know."

They had both been judges together, after all.

"I was hoping she would be around for the tourney, but... Well, doesn't matter." He highly doubted chryssa glasgow would be impressed by something like winning a tourney anyway. "I just hope she comes back soon. I need to talk to her about... stuff."
