priam and his urshifu stand atop a rock formation by the beach, looking down at the people walking by. different faces were there, but he doesn't discriminate on who he picks as a victim.

"hey!"

he calls out and points at cardamom. hee waves his hand in the air and repeats the "hey"'s until he gets noticed. hopefully it doesn't take him long since he's already at such a noticeable position.

still, priam's too stubborn to give up. he'll just keep saying hey.

It did take a while for Cardamom to notice, at first not realizing he was the one being called to. Eventually, Shin, who was sitting on his shoulder, started to prod at him, making him turn. He blinked, pointing at himself. "Me?" he asked.

he was about to jump from the height, but notices it's quite the fall. he does so anyways, and butchers his landing. he drops on one knee on the drop but quickly stands up like nothing happened.

"wanna have a match with my boy?"

the urshifu goes for a less flashy introduction by going down the rock formation properly, one step at a footing after the other. he hops down when it's only around two feet left.

he puffs his chest before gesturing to the urshifu beside him, who just stares back at his trainer.

"he can destroy cars in like one hit, and he gets very big! i can't guarantee you won't get out unscathed and unamazed with what he can do."

there's a smile in priam's features as he says all these. it's clear that he's way too excited just by telling shit that probably doesn't matter.

"pretty cool right? he looks so cool, like, how can you not have a pokemon like this!" priam continues to gush for his pokemon before turning to his opponent.

"do you want the first move?"

Oh wow, he really did mean it when he said his Urshifu could get bigger. That was definitely an impressive trick. At least they had the advantage of the first move. "I'd love to. Shin, test out defenses!" The Teddiursa rushed forwards, claws raised as he prepared to Slash at his opponent.

when the teddiursa goes for an attack, the urshifu nimbly dodges as it detects the attack coming.

"why are you dodging?" priam berates his pokemon. "you should take it," he pauses before continuing, "and then return it tenfold."

the urshifu stares at his trainer, and then to the teddiursa, and starts pondering on where his life had led him to be.

the slash connects this time. the urshifu, in its big boy glory, covers the wound with a paw.

it contemplates on his trainer's words before and attempts to make the best choice that it can without making too much of a scene. priam's words had already attracted a crowd that watched, but it can't be helped.

the urshifu follows through with an iron head, bashing the teddiursa on the moon mark on its head.

Shin let out a small oof as he was hit, stumbling back and clutching his head. However, that only got him more fired up as well, sending him charging in to deliver another Slash at his opponent's muzzle this time. Might as well take advantage of that face being so close to him.

priam doesn't know what it's called, but the urshifu knows what he's pertaining to. if he could sigh, the urshifu would've, but he's too busy covering two slashes with both of his hands.

eventually, he decides to indulge the trainer that raised him up. with one big attack, the urshifu releases its g-max one blow straight to the teddiursa.

Oh, there was the Fighting-type move. Shin was blown back by the single strike, tumbling head over heels but somehow managing to stop before he was knocked clear out of the arena. Staggering and woozy, he slowly stood back up, before glaring up at the Urshifu. Darting forwards, he suddenly started trying to clamber up the bigger bear's bulk instead of slashing at it, reaching up to try and grab a chunk of its bandana-fur with a Covet. He might be about to go down, but he was going to go down messing with his opponent!

getting slashed was one thing. having his fur stolen was a whole different thing altogether.

in a surprising turn of events, the urshifu goes for violence and fires a dynamic punch at the teddiursa without mercy to get it off of him.

priam can only stare at awe at the display, waiting to see if the teddiursa was still alive at least. "wow, urshi. we already showed off..." he trails off.
