Truth is Uri could have easily overpowered her, especially under these conditions, but the difference comes in training and experience. Even before she joined the military, since she was a kid, Sol took martial art lessons, and all those things sure do come in handy in these sorts of situations…

Upon hitting the surface, she takes a deep breath, sinking down and resurfacing a short moment later. She’s soaked, as is he, and while he chuckles, she just stares at him.

It’s almost as if it initially doesn’t cross his mind that he should apologize, but he corrects himself, and she at least is glad about that. This would have turned out much worse if he didn’t apologize.

She is still upset, honestly, but he did recognize his mistake and apologize, and she can acknowledge as much. Sol has never been the type to cause a scene and storm off, but her annoyance also isn’t one to fade easily even when she realizes there’s not much point in being annoyed.

For a moment, she’s silent, trying to ignore the annoying feeling of her wet clothes as they cling to her body, and the weight of the all-too-long hair that falls over her shoulders. She just stares.

With these words, she splashes him with water.

So, instead of smiling back at him, she sighs, yet she walks over to his side, and making sure not to be right next to him, she also sits down. The tide gently pushes and pulls, and she pays it no mind.
