However bryan had excellent execution but not a very good work ethic at the moment since he was hung over. "Alright then, Mimikyu. Go gettem" he said tossing out his pokeball as the envious pikachu pokemon glared at them all looking for thunder stones. [break][break]

That's when the situation somehow got even worse very quickly. Instead of listening to Bryan's orders Mimikyu began to throw wood hammers all over the area trying to attack pikachu over and over again leaving even BIGGER holes in the ground than before. All he could do at the moment was watch in horror.

he feels bad calling it that since he has one of his own — a dedenne, not a pikachu — but it definitely deserves it.

his hand slaps a pokeball on his belt, calling out a serperior that slithers ahead.

"catch the thing!"

and so, danny slows down, watching the serperior take off. he turns then to look at how his partner's doing.

"you good?!"

After mimikyu's wood hammer did enough damage Bryan saw that his mimikyu actually revealed more stones due to wood hammer's sheer power uncovering more earth. "Shit shit shit." he said recalling his Mimikyu and tossing out a different pokeball. "Aromatisse! Sweet scent! Distract them for DANNY HALL !" he ordered as a pink red mist began to speedily leak from her body as bryan tried to have her charm all the pokemon in the vicinity. [break][break]

The once angry looking raichu soon became barely placated. They were going to need to come up with something else quickly to capture this swarm for rocket.

it's hard to define at the moment, so he doesn't even bother trying, offering a simple shrug instead as he looks down at the many stones in the ground.

with the swarm distracted, it allows danny to call out another pokemon before pointing at the many pikachu.

"get them!"

what better way than to EARTHQUAKE them all?

[attr="class","bryanbody"]The earthquake slammed into all of the Pikachu present in the area, a couple of the weaker ones pass out immediately but the stronger ones and the ones who just finished evolving managed to get back up and look extremely upset with @danny 's earthquake attack and begin to fire off electric attacks towards the trainer themselves. [break][break]

However it was a good thing that bryan had intervened and had pre-emptively summoned his lanturn, the electric attacks curved away from danny and instead were absorbed into lanturn's... well lantern. "Seems like it was inevitable that we were gonna need to battle them all so let's just beat their asses!" he calls out to danny "Fairy wind aroma!" he called out as a gust of wind carrying the sweet scent still was stirred up and launched towards the swarm.

[attr="class","danny"]danny had wanted to avoid a fight, honestly, because it feels a little cruel to knock out all of them only to steal the stones from right under their unconscious bodies. looks like it can't be helped, though.

electric attacks course towards him only to be drawn elsewhere. he exhales, relieved.

"thanks!"

graveler tucks itself into a ball before ROLLING OUT towards the pikachu, knocking them over like bowling pins one by one.

[attr="class","bryanbody"] bryan just gives the man a thumb's up, he wasn't the most talkative person in the world, at least with people he just met. But Danny had some skill when it came to battling and commanding his pokemon he had to admit. [break][break]

The roll out managed to knock out some of the little electric rats and Bryan was there ready to use the steel reinforced pokeballs that Remiel Calcifet had used during their time poaching gardevoirs. He began to let them fly and capture whoever was knocked out, even trying to knock out some more pokemon by following up with another fairy wind. The pikachu's began to catch onto what was going on and began to scatter to avoid being caught. [break][break]

"Oh no you don't!" as he called out his klefki, using fairy lock to block off the forest via pink chains made of fae energy to corner them.

by the end of it, he looks back up at bryan, keen on talking and getting to know him a little better.

Yet the promise of money in return for each Pikachu captured was way too tempting for him to even consider it. [break][break]

His attention is brought back to Danny once he realized he was being spoken to. "Oh? Pffft that depends, do you mean the people who call themselves rocket? Or rocket rocket?" he said giving a moment of pause as he took a swig of his whiskey. "since I was 12 I was with "rocket" and then actually joined when I was 18 and kicked out of my house. Never really rose in ranks though, I've not really cared for titles." he explains

"Yeah, there is. There are people who just wanted the fear and respect from the name without having to put in any work. I used to be part of those pussies that just called themselves rocket. Then I found the real rockets and here I am." he explained.

the swig of whiskey is NOSTALGIC as he recalls sharing his first drink with his dad. it tastes stronger, shittier, but it hits all the same. he enjoys the feeling as he hands the flask back over to bryan.

"i've started to find that the real rockets aren't as bad as people make them out to be."

he shrugs.

"everyone has their reasons for being here, you know?"

"But then again there's those who'd try to kill you for merely asking why they're in rocket." he said also weighing the other side of it as Bryan's gotten into a handful of fights over the years in rocket.
