It was like any other day, where Ann wanders around the park near a forest. The place is rather empty as in rarely anyone passes through it, not because it is haunted or anything - It just a poor location for a park to be made, or at least that is what should be. A flock of wild Unfezant appears from the forest and starts to pester Ann - trying to hunt for their food, who is trying to eat her breakfast/lunch after scavenging for free food all around the town. "Hush! Go away you pesky little bird!" Ann tries to shoo them away but sadly the different size doesn't help at all. An Unfezant takes a peck to her bread before Ann swat it away. Zee tries to slash them but has no luck as they keep flying and Zee is unable to reach high enough to slash them with her claw. She needs help but her pride refuses to ask for help.

Uhu. So, what exactly was she supposed to make with those again? Normally, Violet quite liked just being given gifts by people smitten with her. She was not quite sure just what kind of accent this guy was supposed to have, but he’d clearly been a tourist, ripe for being shown around by her. Yet, once she’d gotten him to the office building he’d been looking for, he’d opened his suitcase to reveal some weird fruit inside. Not just stacked willy-nilly, no, they’d been placed in special inlays as if the case had been made to hold them specifically.

He’d given her one of those. It was pretty big. Something called an apricorn or something. But, as she walked she lifted it to take a closer look at it. How the heck was she supposed to make a ball out of this? Vio sighed, uncertain what to do with it.

Then a friggin aerial ninja of an Unfeazant dove from the skies, clasped its claws around the apricorn and was gone before Vio even realized what was happening. “What the….” She exclaimed – before taking chase, towards some kind of park. The hunt was most definitely on now.

The hit from the beak gave her a hard time. The blunt force that accumulates on her arm starts to bruise her arm and leave her with pain. While she is still gritting her teeth, a tear starts to form yet she still refuses to let go of her bread. Zee despite her best attempt to protect her trainer got rendered useless due to how uncanny the flocks are really fast to go back to air after attacking her. Then a woman come, she can't see her clearly from her current condition. She is an unown to her - 'Don't tell me, that this flock is her and she orders them to attack her.' Ann thinks desperately thinking that she might go unconscious and be dragged to a nearby hospital. Her brain starts to think of the cost and her resolve to survive to gets slightly stronger once again. Zee who notices a new woman that approaching them decides to growl at the lady and barks as if telling her to get off thinking that she might hurt her trainer more.

The Apricorn carrying Unfeazant was making headway, which was probably a bad thing. Granted, she had been gifted this thing, probably had no real use for it in the end. Even if it could make a good ball or something, she’d probably be able just to buy something similar for less effort than it would take to chase down a flying Pokemon.

Then again, however briefly it had been, it was hers. So, she was going to get it back, or at least hurt that thing trying. For that, she called out her Snomoth. Its Tailwind even helped her to some extent, although it certainly did not work as well on her as it did on Pokemon. Ugh.

Still, Frosmoth did manage to close in on the unfeazant miscreant, right as it was apparently joining in with the others of its kind. Some of them briefly bickered over the apricon, while others still harassed someone on the ground. Frosmoth didn’t really care about either. It didn’t matter why those things rose to the skies. Right then, her trainer just wanted to see them fall. Hence, a huge Icy Wind was called forth, right into the whole swarm of the things.

While she was struggling with the birds suddenly her skin starts to tingle due to the cold air starting to envelopes her surroundings. Apparently, she is not the only one who feels it - The Unfezant starts to slow down the strikes and flap their wings restlessly. Feeling annoyed with the cold air that suddenly appears, the Unfezant starts to fly away leaving Ann with her bruises. Ann slowly falls down to the ground and lets out a relieved sigh. Noticing the woman that might or might not have saved her from her previous predicament, Ann starts to call out at her. While she is still defensive toward her but that doesn't mean that she is an ungrateful person - "Ah, thanks... I guess. Would be bad for me if the attack is prolonged" Ann says her gratitude as best as she could to Violet Fairbanks.

Granted, Violet had not seen the girl at all before she’d fallen to the ground. Otherwise, she would have probably tried to help – not necessarily out of concern, but rather due to it looking quite bad if she just let someone get harmed that she could have helped in public. Fortunately, the young one seemed okay already. There was no sound of bones breaking at least, which was always good. And she could probably just get by without putting in too much work there.

“Yes, that would have been terrible,” Violet thus added with expertly faked concern. Frosmoth in the meantime shooed away all the other unfeazants – and it hit the thieving one with powder snow, enough of it to make it drop the Apricorn right into the other woman’s lap. “I was just trying to retrieve that from a thief, bu it seems like this has led to your salvation too. What a fortunate coincidence!”
