Team Rocket was the symptom of a greater disease, one that was spreading through the Hoenn region like a wildfire. Citizens were rebelling against their government, siding with the criminal organization due to the League's perceived incompetence and assumed malpractice. It was only a matter of time before this happened, but with the impending doom of a meteor on the horizon, there were more pressing issues for the Comissioner to deal with.

This was why Alexander was in Fortree City, the site of the most recent protests against the League. Undoubtedly there would be Rocket agitators among the masses, ones that he could provide valuable information provided they were given the proper pressure.

Rangers were on duty to keep the assembly civil, a useful distraction to keep him unnoticed among the crowd. "Recognize any unfamiliar faces?" Alexander asked the young ranger, speaking with his voice lowered, face turned away. These were Ranger Defort's neighbors, after all, he'd notice those amiss

Similar to the thick tension impregnating the air, so was the power imbalance between the league and Hoenn’s people. They all have a right to be critical. Freedom of speech is one right he would never question, though Lux can hardly agree with Team Rocket being the source of power behind these angered voices. Greed only fuels more hatred and spite, something that Lux is dead set against.[break][break]
Lux didn’t imagine in his wildest dreams that someone of Alexander’s status would seek him out, despite making himself useful during the shadow Pokemon attack, remembering every last detail of that grusome day. Though he supposes his skill is something interpol would do anything to have their hands on. He briefly scans through the crowd. [break][break]

"We converge on them." Alexander answered, sapphire eyes following the individual who had been pointed out by the ranger. "Pincer maneuver, come from either side." He assumed that Lux knew what that meant, seeing as he'd been trained in such a conflict-ridden climate.

"We'll bring them to some place quiet, and extract information." Alexander kept this part vague, not wanting to show his hand too early, especially to someone who didn't know his particular 'methods'. "I'll take the south, you go north."
