Rory didn't care to impress the more tenure staff Rocket held. To be frank, most of them gave her the heebie-jeebies, while the others just straight out intimidated her to no end. It made work relations much harder to maintain, to say the least.

Fortunately for her and her faint heart, the engineer had just been swapped out from her previous team to another.

To say the work was challenging would be a bit of an understatement. Given where her expertise laid, it came off as a bit of a shock when she was first notified of her switch into Lulu Flint 's spacecraft team. She could keep up with the work, of course, but only barely so.
