WHAT CAN BE LOOKED UP

There isn’t much in the public records about Zilla Dumay, for she’s managed to keep herself out of the limelight. A dedicated search will reveal that she grew up in Oldale Town, where her parents worked and she attended school. Despite skipping class on multiple occasions, she was able to maintain a fair grade point average. She eventually dropped out of school and picked up odd jobs throughout Hoenn as a means to obtain money without having a degree or specializing in one particular field. After a few years of flying under the radar and being paid under the table, she moved into Mauville City where she began renting an apartment. It is believed that she continued working as an independent contractor, for there are very few records regarding her employment at this time. When the Ultra Beast War hit the city, she moved to Lavaridge Town as a way to avoid the conflict. She lived there for a few months before returning to Mauville City. Records show that she is currently employed as a dealer at the Mauville City Casino.

LEAGUE KNOWLEDGE

POINTS OF INTEREST FOR THE LEAGUE FACTION

Zilla Dumay is of no concern to the League; Ari Dougherty is a different story, however. It’s difficult to tell when exactly Ari started her life of crime, but suspicion first fell on her in Lillycove. She was suspected of burglary and Pokémon trafficking, but the only evidence officers had to go off of were inconsistent eye witness accounts, complaints of pick-pocketing, and a name that didn’t belong to anyone currently in their system. Police and rangers almost caught her when they received word of an illegal Pokémon exchange. They set up a sting operation with the hope of catching multiple criminals at once, not just Ari. They waited in the shadows until all the suspects had arrived then made their move. Unfortunately for them, the felons weren’t going down without a fight and Ari managed to slip away in the commotion. Reports regarding Ari Dougherty slowed down significantly after that night. There were still infrequent complaints about Ari in Fortree or Mossport, but those were few and far between. It didn’t take a genius to realize she was likely still committing crimes on a regular basis, she was just using different aliases. Ari’s true identity and current location is a mystery.

ROCKET KNOWLEDGE

POINTS OF INTEREST FOR TEAM ROCKET FACTION

Zilla does a decent job hiding her identity from everyone; however, Team Rocket's connections to society's dark and devious underworld gives them a unique advantage in knowing about her history as a common criminal. Not only does Zilla have a habit of stealing from the public, but she also frequents Black Markets throughout Hoenn in order to sell the stolen goods she's acquired. Most of her crimes are done for profit, and as such, she is willing to tackle jobs if the work is easy and the pay is promising. If someone is looking for a particular Pokémon or item, they need only make their request to Zilla and she would do her best to deliver. Jobs involving kidnapping, injuring human beings, or blackmailing are generally out of the question. Her focus is on stealing and Pokemon trafficking. Since joining Team Rocket, however, she is being asked to tackle more dangerous jobs as a way to prove herself as a loyal member to the organization. She's already been asked to do things she normally wouldn't do by her own volition, and only time will tell how far she'll go when pressure is applied.

Zilla is responsible for recruiting Isaac Merlo. He caught her poaching Donphan for their tusks and attempted to stop her. She swiftly defeated him, but he and his Pokemon were determined to stop her. He healed up his Totodile and tried again and, as expected, Zilla once again vanquished him in battle. Still not giving up, he healed his starter and went into battle again... and again... and again, until he was out of potions. It would have been easy to finish him off and steal his Pokemon, but she didn't. His determination and ambition was obvious, but so too was his desperation and loneliness. Without consulting her superiors, Zilla offered Isaac a deal: one more chance to beat her and if he lost, he'd have to join Team Rocket. After some convincing and playful taunting, he eventually agreed and Zilla tossed him a potion to prepare for battle. Needless to say, he lost and reluctantly joined Hoenn's most notorious gang. Zilla was reprimanded for her recklessness, but Team Rocket gained a valuable asset that day.

POPULAR ALIASES

NAMES TO STAY HIDDEN IN PLAIN SIGHT

Zelda Mayer: The first alias Zilla created. She kept it similar to her real name to ensure she wouldn't forget it. Zelda is linked to a handful of petty crimes in and around Mauville City. Said crimes include stealing a woman's purse, shoplifting from various Pokémarts, and harassing locals with a Poochyena. This alias has since been retired.

Ari Dougherty: Zilla's most prominent alias. It was the name she used when committing crimes in the east Hoenn region. Ari is linked to many burglary, kidnapping, and trafficking charges. She was almost arrested during a sting operation, but she successfully slipped away. This alias was retired to avoid being tracked.

Paris Vaughn: An alias Zilla frequently used after moving back to Mauville City. There isn't much suspicion surrounding Paris, but it is the name she tends to use when socializing, conning, and pickpocketing is involved. The idea is that no one will notice anything is missing until long after the fact, but if suspicion does happen to fall on her then at least they won't have her real name. The alias is still in use.

Rosa Kennedy: An alias often used by Zilla when traveling between Mauville City and Sootopolis. Because government agents may find it strange for Zilla to constantly travel halfway across the region so frequently, especially when she doesn't have any known family or friends near Sootopolis, she has opted to create an identity for exactly that reason. The alias is still in use.

Olivia White: Zilla's Team Rocket alias. Though she tends to use multiple names and disguises when working missions for Rocket, Olivia White is one of the ones she frequents. After all, it's easier to remember a single consistent name under pressure rather than one that changes every other day. This alias is still in use.
