He took a swig of his whiskey "My sister always wanted a combee. I always told her no as they can be a nuisance." he adds as he regretted not ever getting her that combee. It was too late now. [break][break]

"You?" he asked wondering if they had similar backgrounds. Despite the amount of time they've spent together, Bryan knew shockingly little of Theo.

"all pokemon can be nuisances if you think of it that way. but i understand. i wanted a growlithe but we couldn't afford one at the time."[break][break]

so they got him a goldeen instead; one of the most basic fish pokemon out there. one of the cheapest to raise, too. he misses it sometimes.[break][break]

"but no. my experience with combee has been very limited."[break][break]

and though it goes unsaid, it means bryan can take lead today. he should.[break][break]

The buzzing is noticed by Bryan, it's growing ever louder as they continued to move forward. It was surprising that there was a colonee in mossdeep considering the terrain here. Rocks and water, a few trees he supposed but..where the hell did they make their hive?[break][break]

Well, he wouldn't have to dwell on it too long as Bryan was suddenly attacked by a pack of combee as they all used gust attack to send him flying backwards into a tree as it cracked under his body's weight. He fell forwards as his bones slowly began to put themselves back together. "Fucking..bastards..Found them." he groaned as he felt everything his body was doing to restore it's self. [break][break]

He grabbed a pokeball with his good arm "Sylveon. Burn them all!" he ordered as Sylveon leapt out of the pokeball and channeled 4 balls of fire, launching it at the groups of combee.

what is it with bryan delarosa and getting attacked by random pokemon? it's like being associated with the god of life has suddenly made him a target.[break][break]

his banette snakes its way out of its pokeball before wrapping a few of them in a tight PSYCHIC hold. sadly, one wiggles free and darts towards bryan once again.

Theo's voice rings in bryan's head loud and clear. He groans, he hated having to hold back as it wasn't his forte. [break][break]

"Ugh, fine!" he responds clearly annoyed but it was hard to tell if it was due to the pain or him just wanting to destroy these stupid bugs. Sylveon chirped happily as she was ready to get into no good trouble with these bugs. [break][break]

She darts over with incredible speed towards the combee who escaped the banette's psychic grasp, using her tendrils to latch onto the bug and fling it towards a nearby tree similar to how bryan was thrown. His body was still recovering and he wasn't ready to stand up yet, but sylveon was perfectly fine. "Good toss girl! Now blast it!" he ordered as pink energy surged within his sylveon as she fired a moon blast at the combee. [break][break]

Did she learn this from watching grimmsnarl? He didn't teach her that..

it's an easy fight, one that two of rocket's finest have no problem sweeping through. eventually, all that's left are a few combee that theo rounds up into boxes.[break][break]

Bryan laid on the floor as they had made quick work of the combees. [break][break]
He however couldn't stand up just yet as his bones cracked and cricked back into place. His Audino standing besides him, channeling a heal pulse to speed up his regeneration factor. [break][break]

"That's a weird question." he says, raising an eyebrow. [break][break]

"But my skill set is rather, limited. I'm not the smartest, I'm not the best with words. I'm just strong and I hit stuff. I used to sneak around, getting into places where I wasn't supposed to be..but uh...it's not the most efficient tactic anymore."

His body looks as good as new, the heal pulse from his audino pushing the speed at which he recovered. [break][break]

he stood up, stretching his leg behind him by using his arm to pull on it behind him. "Honestly, the more of a commotion I cause, the more I find I prefer that. I mean I could sneak into places still if it's what you guys need of me but I feel like it'd be a waste of my abilities." [break][break]

He pat his Audino on it's head as it chirped happily that Bryan was pleased with her performance. But behind that joy there was a relief in his audino expression, he had changed. He wasn't the same Bryan she saw growing up. "Why, is there no one else who can sneak around like me?" he asked. "I mean I know im good but..sheesh." he joked.

The thought of pursuing admin never really occurred to him. After all, he wasn't really the smartest in the bunch and he considered most of the admins to be those who know how to manipulate and move chess pieces. [break][break]

But that ember Theo had just placed caused a spark to burn..maybe he'd try for it one day. A happy little accident could occur..[break][break]

"Maybe one day." he answers. "Right now thinking is too hard. A lot has changed and life is a bit too complicated for a position that requires more critical thinking." he answers as he pulls out a flask and starts to take a sip of it.
