"Gigi, right on time. I was just about to clock out. I have a hot date to get to." Gisela had barely just walked through the breakroom's door when her co-worker rushed past her. "Oh, okay." she bit back the reply about how there was supposed to be two people on the floor at all times according to company policy. [break][break]

She'd recently gotten down with her initial training and now she was being left to man the store all on her own. Luckily she already had some prior experience since this was her second job. She shuffled out of her jacket and began to offload her things in her locker when her co-worker returned to place one final nail in the coffin. [break][break]

"Thanks you're an angel." he replied as he blew a kiss in her direction. "Oh and don't forget to open up quickly, lunch is almost over." and just like that, he was gone with the wind. Gisela let out an audible sigh once she was finally left alone. She thought after leaving home things would be different. [break][break]

But apparently she was still the same old doormat she was back in Paldea, just without her crown now. Amorosa, her Roselia, stood beside her with a disappointed look on her face. "Don't look at me like that. What was I supposed to do? You know I couldn't stop him on my own." It wasn't a lie. That co-worker was known for his shirking of responsibilities. It was a wonder he was still employed. [break][break]

"It's fine, Rosa. I should be able to handle things here. It's not so much different from the flower shop." she said as she offered her companion a soft smile. "Besides, you know how quick of a learner I am." Rosa seemed to inaudibly sigh as her trainer swiftly finished getting ready before leaving the backroom. [break][break]

However, Gisela was well aware of the point her Roselia wanted to get across. It wasn't her capabilities that were in question. But rather her bad habit of allowing other's to do whatever they please, even if it put her at a disadvantage. For starters, Gisela had arrived early to work today with enough time before her shift to eat her own brunch she'd prepared. [break][break]

She'd missed out on eating this morning as she had to cover a last minute emergency shift opening shift at the flower shop. Originally it was her day off but she had to rush to work to make up for someone else calling out at the last second. Less than two seconds after making her way here she didn't even have a moment to breathe before she was shafted again. [break][break]

If Rosa had her way, she would've given that good-for-nothing a piece of her mind. But Gisela would never let her do that. Rosa was practically sulking at that fact in the corner which caused Gisela to laugh. "Oh please, skipping a meal isn't that big of a deal. Besides, I need to lose a little weight anyway." she said with a giggle as she moved to open the door and flip the sign to 'OPEN'. [break][break]

It would seem her co-worker left her plenty to do in the meantime with little time to spare. She needed to clean up a bit before the afternoon rush of people began filing in. No sooner had she stepped to the back to grab a broom did she hear the bell chime to signal that someone had already entered the store. [break][break]

"O-One moment! I'll be right out." Gisela called out from the back room.
