The last supply mission with Lulu Flint had been hectic at the end but still ended a success. Being back in an enclosed cave made her nervous but she was hiding it pretty well. She was with her dad this time though so she was positive she was in good hands. Not that, that eased the tensions what-so-ever.[break][break]

If anything, she was more afraid of making a mistake now. "Um...they've been....eventful?" she answered skeptically before shaking her head with a sigh. "I've won some, lost others. Either way all of them ended up a learning opportunity and I walked away with more information on the League that I can use in my reports."

The DREAM MIST had a way of making its presence known at the worst possible moment’s every single time. Every time she had encountered the MIST recently, it had always shown her other people’s memories instead of her own. It would also almost certainly feature a strange pokemon of unknown origins every single time. She wondered what they would be exposed to this time as she paused for a moment beside her father.[break][break]

“I…ran into avatars.” She admitted as she bit her lip, “I’m not equipped well enough to handle them right now…” she paused, wondering if he would find that as an excuse. “…I’ll be more prepared next time.”

but he cannot chastise her too much for her losses as he has suffered the same. most of their forces have, unsurprisingly, as they often come up against forces unknown.

the INTERDREAM MIST make it too unpredictable as well. like how it spawns a GREAT TUSK that charges straight at them.

The rebuke wasn't as severe as she imagined it could've been. She wasn't sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing. Either way, she didn't have time to worry about that as the DREAM MIST saw fit to have another paradox pokémon appear before her. A GREAT TUSK this time.[break][break]

Tori whistled and her Arctovish appeared bringing with it a HAILSTORM in it's wake. As the GREAT TUSK charged towards them, her borrowed Arctovish readied a FREEZE-DRY to halt the beast in it's tracks. "Hate this fuckin' mist." Tori grumbled under her breath.

the FREEZE-DRY turns the ground slippery, causing the GREAT TUSK to lose its balance as it charges at them. it slips, falls, and squishes the anorith back into a fossil.

Victoria flinched once the GREAT TUSK collided with the anorith, swiftly killing it. She felt slightly responsible for that. Indirectly or not, it was better than the alternative which was them getting crushed. Theo didn't seem phased by it as he quickly mega evolved another of his pokémon to attack the enemy again. [break][break]

Victoria, taking after her friend Cillian, clicked her tongue and her Cloyster readied ICICLE SPEARS at the GREAT TUSK ready to do a combination of attacks along side Theo to take the beast down.

The GREAT TUSK was dealt with but her Arctovish had exhausted itself lately. Understandably so. She'd been relying on it a lot recently so it was only expected that the pokémon would faint. It served her well though, she'd have to thank Cillian later. But even with the pokémon dealt with the DREAM MIST persisted.[break][break]

It certainly amplified the feelings of anxiety within her. Last time Cillian handled dispersing the mist on his own, she couldn't do the same. She didn't have any pokémon that could do so. Near her, Theo grunted as he seemed to take realization of the situation too. Not only were they lost, but their supplies were missing too.[break][break]

Tori cleared her throat and sheepishly glanced at her father. "I don't have anything to disperse the mist. And...the supplies are gone." she withheld the bit about them being lost, she was sure he realized. "B-but I'm sure you can get us out of here, Pops." she'd be shamelessly relying on him now, after all what couldn't this underboss do?
