Everything was going to plan! Steal the eevee from the little boy, leave town with it, and boom - It was Kieren's. But ... Like every good plan, there's was always some annoying pain in-his-ass that would nornally thwart his efforts. Kieren had stole Pokemon back in Sinnoh time and time again from trainers. However most of the trainers over their knew how to battle too. Kieren would normally fight for his claims and win. 


However, this was the Hoenn Region. Different territory meant a different game. However Kieren wasn't expecting someone in some outdated hero costume to chase him down for half an hour after witnessing him stealing the damn Eevee. Kieren had turned tightly to the left hoping that there wasn't a dead end. And ... Of course their was. 


Kieren finally turned facing the man, one of 'hands' that he was wearing was covering his face which was good. This wierdo wouldn't be able to know who he was. "Damn, your so annoying! Do you always yell at the people your chasing constantly? Oh and by the way .... Your outfit looks like crap," Kieren had said, being blunt and to the point. "If you really want this Eevee back," He paused, tossing the pokeball with the Eevee inside it in place as if it were a toy. Then you're gonna have to battle me for it," Kieren said with a maniacal grin on his face.

Even though this guy had awful taste in his hero outfit, maybe he had better quality in terms of Pokemon battling. Or at least, that was what he was hoping anyways.

Kieren ignored the words coming from the 'Hero' with the unbearable looking get-up. He also still found his words annoying, but them again ... Kieren almost found everything to be annoying. It was then that the lame looking hero brought one of his Pokemon. "Justice will prevail, you say ..." he said in a stoic tone while throwing one of his Pokeballs outward. Then, his Hydreigon, Nomu appeared. It's three heads let out a loud roar, knowing it was more than ready to battle.


"Then I'm just gonna have to crush that justice until there's not an ounce of it left!" Kieren said, having a psychotic grin on his face as the itch for wanting to make this supposed Hero suffer grew. "Nomu ... Hyper Beam!" Kieren commanded and with that, the three headed dragon Pokemon had gathered energy from the mouths of its three heads, then sending out a massive energy beam that glowed a light orangish color.

In all Honesty, Kieren wanted to see if this so called Herl could stop his Hyper Beam from going past him to prevent the civillians from getting hurt. This was a test to see if this guy was actually strong, or if he was just all bark and no bite. Now it was time to see what this so called justice of his could actually do. 

Kieren was slightly impressed, however it was only slightly. The supposed Hero's Lycanroc used Stone Edge to stop the Hyper Beam. However, the power of the attack coming from his Nomu was still powerful enough to send the Lycanroc hurling into his trainer. Soon after that, the Hero had brought out an Alolan Sandslash, having it use Ice Ball.

"I don't think so! Go Akumu! Use Shadow Ball to deflect that attack!" Kieren said, bringing out his second Pokemon as well. His Gengar quickly appeared and blasted a Shadow Ball right at the Ice ball in order to deflect it. The impact of the two attacks caused an explosion which expelled a thick mist from the Sandslash's Ice Ball. However, Kieren decided to use this as a way to counter.

"Now Akumu! blast that Sandslash with Dark Pulse!" Kieren said, being quick with his words. Gengar had quickly expelled a dark wave that shot outward, attempting to collide with the Sandslash. Kieren had decided to use everything he could in order to win. He was not in the least but worried to get rough and dirty in a Pokemon Battle. 

Kieren had a moment to himself, laughing out loud maniacally because he had thought he had won. "How'd ya like that, 'Hero'!?" He cackled, enjoying the sight before his very eyes. However, once the smoke from collision had disappeared, He was shocked to see that the Hero and his Pokemon were still standing. "No ... No! This is wrong! You're supposed to be down! How can you still be standing!?" Kieren yelled, showing that he was visibly angry at the fact they were still standing.

Kieren was also irritated, having a fit of paranoia overtake him, scratching his neck as if the irritation was an actual itch on his body. No matter how hard he scratched his neck, the Paranoia wouldn't subside. This was not going the way he had planned. With his conflicted feelings of the matter, he conpletely forgotten that the Hero's Pokemon had some fight left in them that Kieren also had not anticipated. The Sandslash had thrown an Ice Ball at his Nomu, taking a critical blow. Then, the Lycanroc had done the same to Akumu with its attack as well. Both of his Pokemon were now on ground battered and beaten like a bunch of amateurs.

Kieren groaned in frustration at his Pokemon and had began to shout them as if they were both idiots. "Get up! Get up and end them!" Kieren yelled, however both of his Pokemon did not have the strength to continue. How could his Pokemon have lost!? It was impossible! Still visibly upset with the sudden turn of events that had risen, Kieren had swiftly returned Nomu and Akumu to their Pokeballs, and then tossed the pokeball that contained the Eevee to the ground, it being slung near the Hero.

Then without warning, Kieren had released his Growlithe Kurama. "Use Flame Wheel! We'll cut them off with the flames and ditch this place!" Kieren growled, even though he wasn't necessarily angry at the Growlithe he also treated it rather poorly at that moment. However, his Growlithe had still done what it had ordered; spinning around while flames had protruded from its body, spreading around the floor violently, separating themselves from the Hero so that they wouldn't be followed. Before Kieren had bolted for the exit behind him, he had said some finals choice words to the guy that made him furious.

"Next time we see each other again, I'm going to crush you and everything you hold dear! Remember that, 'Hero'." And with that, he and his Growlithe had bolted for their exit, fleeing the scene.
