The day of reckoning had finally come, and with it, a burning passion; the supplier of said passion none other than Kim.

There had been many barriers to overcome during his time as a councilman- physical and otherwise- but the barrier that had proven itself most formidable had been casted by the one he had come to love dearly, Najwa, her aversion to camera’s causing him a great dismay.

Time and time again, Kim had tried to get a picture with just the two of them, a simple keepsake to only be viewed by his eyes and his alone- with the exception of Najwa of course- but time and time again, she had denied his request- Kim understanding but unwavering in his aim.

Eventually, after what had felt like the millionth time he had asked, she gave in, surprise written plainly on his face which had quickly switched to excitement.

For her to change her mind about this was astonishing, and to not be taken lightly, so he would have to go all out. Food, fun, excitement, all things that had went into planning for the perfect day, his hopes of snapping the perfect selfie mixed into the plethora of activities planned.

And the first step lied in Verdanturf, homing a peaceful park that would serve as the location for the evening these two would share.

Upon arrival Kim would fidget with anticipation, his hands vibrating in excitement as he turned to Najwa.

“Are you as excited as I am?” A rhetorical question because honestly, no one could be as excited as he currently was in this moment.

He had wanted a picture for ages. Pretty much since they had started dating. And as much as Najwa refused at first... She found herself growing more and more fond of the idea of showing off that she cares for him. So, when she finally says yes - it's only to be expected that Kim would think of some grand, elaborate scheme, in order to get the perfect picture.

Najwa tries to tell him that if it's with him, any picture will be perfect - but now that they're out and about, she's a little more excited than she thought she would have been for this.

When he asks her the question of whether or not she's excited, she squeezes his hand gently and curls her other hand around his arm, leaning into him. "Yes. I'm looking forward to this. Spending time with you, having a nice date." She kisses his cheek and smiles softly, before returning her gaze to their surroundings.

"So, where are you taking me?" Najwa asks, her heels clicking on the cobble path that led them to their destination.

Kim simply smiled, her question begetting an answer yet receiving none.

“If I told you then it would lose its effect, Na.”

He gestured in front of him, pointing out a crepe vendor whose stall sat before them.

“But I can tell you that we will be enjoying ourselves with the variety of attractions leading up to our eventual end.”

Pulling her forth he looked to the small selection overhead before making his order.

“One nanab crepe for me and a-”

He waited for Najwa to make her order, his arm still interlocked within hers as he looked to her expancantly.

Najwa gives him a blank stare, her lip slowly jutting out into a pout as he refuses to tell her where the surprise was. Instead, he stops in front of a crepe place, and her eyes go wide.

She loves crepes.

"Ah! The same, please. With extra whipped cream.~" She squeezes Kim's hand, eyes flashing excitedly. "Oh, is this it? I love crepes, Kim." She leans a little closer and kisses his cheek. "Thank you!" Najwa thinks that this is it - this is the big surprise. She has no idea that there's a whole day of this planned.

“Ofcourse!” He says with an oblivious smile, receiving their orders- handing hers over while keeping his in hand.

“OH, this is a perfect photo op!”

He rummages through his pocket and grabs hold of his phone, opening the camera and holding it up- the lens facing them.

“We can be feeding one another each others crepes in the picture. Here.”

He nudges hers toward himself and prepares to take a bite while doing the same with his, moving it close to her mouth.

Looking up to the camera he begins to count down. “3… 2… ...no… this isn’t enough.” His words are followed by him chomping down on her crepe, stealing that sacred first bite from her decadent sweet and pulling away.

“It needs to be perfect…” He says with a mouthful of the desert, bits of cream sat around his mouth.

At the sudden public display of... Kim eating her food... Najwa laughs and wrinkles her nose as she tries to take a bite of his crepe, only to be disturbed by him pulling back and telling her that it isn't perfect. She looks over the photo and smiles, because it's pretty cute - but if he's not happy with it...

"We can take more." She reaches out with her hand and uses a finger to wipe the rim of whipped cream off his lips, before licking it off her finger. "I can't believe you ate the first bite of my extra-whip crepe. How dare you." Najwa pouts, but her lips threaten to smile as she takes her first bite. "Mmm, I love crepes so much."

"Kim, I wanted to talk to you about something while we search for the perfect place to take this picture." Najwa hums and begins eating her crepe, if only to save it from another devouring bite of her boyfriend's.

Kim stares at the photo and begins to offhandedly bite into the sweet, only to see that she had missed her opportunity to chomp into it. He offers it over as to allow her the same fate that had befallen her own crepe, speak sheepishly in the meantime.

“Sure, what's up?”

Whether or not she had partaken of the offered sweet, he began to walk forward, continuing their walk as he began to eye out their next location.

Smiling, Najwa takes a big bite of the crepe he presents to her, before licking her lips and hooking their arms together. The thing she wants to talk about is the same thing as she had tried to talk to him about before.

"Well." She sighs softly and licks some whipped cream off her own crepe, before looking back to him.

Taking a deep breath, she squeezes her arm. "I spend a lot of time at your place, right?" Najwa blinks, thinking of how she wants to phrase this.

"Mhm."

He hums, taking a bite of his crepe, an idea suddenly forming as he held the dessert in his mouth. With his free hand he grabbed hold of his phone and angled it upwards. Once the two were in the screen Kim nudged Najwa a bit. Getting her attention enough for him to snap an impromptu selfie, the lavender haired man pulling the phone down to look at it.

Still wasn't good enough, and his dissatisfied face spelled it out plainly. "Aw well." He thought as he slid the phone away, listening to Najwa as they continued walking- their seemingly aimless wandering leading them under a overhanging bridge.

Najwa laughs as he prompts her for a candid photo, blushing a bit as he decides that that one isn't good enough either. She kisses his cheek and grins, before rolling her eyes. "Well, I was thinking..." She continues walking with him, holding his arm. Her fingertips graze his gently, and she takes a deep breath.

"What if we just moved in together?" She hums, raising her eyebrows. "Well, I move in... With you, you know?" Najwa glances at him nervously.

He looks at her in confusion, her question forcing him to make a face as he turns to her.

“I thought we were already living together. I mean, you basically stay over almost every night at this point.

Looking forward, he pulled her in a little closer.

“But if you want permission from me, you have it. I don’t mind in the slightest.” His lips formed into a giddy smile. “Really it makes me a little excited considering it’s more official now.”

Her cheeks flush at the fact that Kim thought that they were already living together. Of course, she still has her own apartment for the moment... But he does have a point. She spends most nights with him, anyway.

"You're right." Najwa laughs softly, then smirks when he pulls her closer. "Oh yeah? We should celebrate when we get home." She kisses him softly, her fingertips resting lightly on the sides of his face, before pulling back. "I'll put in my notice at my apartment that I'll be moving out. Can I bring some of my things with me? Furniture-wise, I mean -" She's got a couple of things she doesn't want to go without.

"Yea, of course!" He says cheerily, pulling her from the underside of the bridge and into the evening light, Kim playfully spinning with her as they continued along the walkway.

"I'll help you move everything, and if need be, we can get rid of some of my stuff."

Once they're a little ways away from where they previously were, he drags her to the side of the walkway, grabbing hold of her shoulder and pulling her in as he set his cheek onto hers, snapping a selfie in their dizzied state.

He shook his head as to reorient himself and looks at the picture he had taken. It's blurry and what could be made out of their faces was a complete mess, the seconds they spent spinning doing it's work dutifully.

Kim chuckles, showing her the picture.

"I think we look pretty good in this one. What about you?"

Najwa grins as she regards the picture, before turning her head to kiss him softly on the lips. "That all sounds wonderful. We don't need to get rid of anything of yours~ There's plenty of room for both. We can use my stuff in the spare room." She squeezes him closer and takes a deep breath.

"We also need to sign a relationship disclosure form for work, so that we don't get in trouble." She rests her forehead onto his chest and sighs, closing her eyes. "And get someone to sign off on it, of course."
