It still lies dormant upon their arrival but they can feel its energy surge throughout their veins. A red light emanates from the cocoon, invasive at first, conveying the harbinger’s message. A surge pulses between Adrian and Thomas. Yveltal stretches its massive wingspan, each one curling around the respective trainer. “I SHALL GRANT YOU A SLIVER OF MY POWER. MOLD IT TO YOUR WHIM BUT REMEMBER, I WILL BE WATCHING. NEVER FORGET YOUR DUTY.” The same pain from before bleeds into their eyes as the Pokemon starts to push its influence onto the both of them. Thomas’ damaged eye comes to life, dilating as red and black emerge over his iris. [break][break]

Yveltal turns to Lars, glaring, before draining his powers back from the Head Ranger. Elsewhere, Lucas Lane will also suffer from the same pain as his SHINIGAMI EYES return to their rightful owner. [break][break]

One of Yveltal’s fingers rest upon Adrian’s head. Just the slightest of movements ruffles his hair. [break][break]

Mount Pyre suffers from one last fissure that creates a crevice large enough to swallow Yveltal whole. It accepts its duty by returning from whence it came. The ground closes up behind it and the surroundings return to normal. The expected fog rolls over and their meeting grounds becomes lost in a maze of ghosts and tomb stones. [break][break]

As promised, Adrian and Thomas will find remnants of Yveltal’s power flying above them. This representation of the God of Death is much smaller in comparison, matching the known descriptions recorded in the history books. Each one follows after their new trainer, serving as both their proof of avatarship and as Yveltal’s eyes. Should either betray their sponsor’s trust, the Pokemon may rescind its gift. the incident on mount pyre goes unnoticed by all except one: priam's shadow braviary. the effects of the cataclysmic showdown rewires the pokemon's brain in the same way that yveltal's power spikes. like a built in migratory path, the avian understands the sudden surge of energy that courses through its artificial veins. at the next chance the pokemon gets to battle it'll unleash a ruthless OBLIVION WING. although priam's shadow pokemon remains one of the most tenacious, due to its sheer exposure to the shadow labs, no one had expected this. considering the pokemon's strength, style, and overall coolness, the scientist are caught flabbergasted by the discovery of another ability. they marvel in awe, quietly congratulating the team sexy hopeful, gossiping in envy. extensive use will confirm the existence of a new status effect. only one pokemon has ever been documented to show such power but even that's only an outdated fairytale. there is still much to uncover about shadow pokemon and no one truly knows what lies underneath the surface. [break][break]
