BATTLEFRONT 4: POWER PLANT

The hippowdon's purpose finally accomplished. The poison it was afflicted with, together with the beating it had to endure for so long, ate away at its health and energy. It gave it its all to exit the basement through the hole it dug. it eventually crashed on the floor, left unconscious.
As soon as the AURA SPHERE had hit the escavalier, Lucius had to instinctively let go of its lance-like arms due to the force of the AURA SPHERE that pushed him and the escavalier, back towards the exterior wall of the power plant. It was a difficult task to maneuver on the ground with escavalier pinning him, however, it was still possible. His alolan ninetales, unable to act due to its need to RECHARGE from its HYPER BEAM shot, had to be recalled with a tap of its empty ball at the same time, also recalling his hippowdon as it was sighted by Lucius to be unconscious nearby.
The escavalier made a swift REVERSAL, however, turning its entire body towards the defenseless rocket as he was busy recalling his companions. As escavalier reared one of its lance-like arms, Lucius knew well that he had to, in fact, move to live. He had to call upon his King. A single tap of its ball's button summoned forth his King, Lucius' ninetales, by escavalier's back.
It had to act quick, a split-second glimpse of the situation gave it enough time to understand the gravity of the situation. One swift QUICK ATTACK gave it enough speed to act just in time, the ninetales bit on Lucius' right leg, allowing it to drag the rocket grunt out, sliding him on the ground out of escavalier's pin with force. The angle, however, was off to the right and escavalier's pin made it difficult for the ninetales to pull its trainer away with complete ease. The escavalier would then be given the chance to drive its lance down, not through his heart, however, but through his left shoulder.
The lance piercing through his shoulder felt numb at first due to shock, slowly, pain seeped in. Lucius wailed in agony, which then turned to that of a maniacal laugh, a laugh evidently fueled by pain and animosity. The ground below rumbled, ninetales knew better than to stop dragging. It continued its drag, however, the lance that pierced through Lucius' shoulder pinned the poor grunt to the ground which made it quite impossible for the ninetales to drag its trainer off further away from the obvious ground attack that's only seconds away as implied by the rumbling that was present.
The doublade had since been unable to be of aid due to the PROTECT screen that blocked it from leaving its place. Being quite useless, using his good arm and most of his remaining strength, Lucius recalled his doublade and swiftly called forth his espeon, showing his unbelievably strong will to preserve himself. Just in time for another QUICK ATTACK, giving it enough speed much like the ninetales to be of aid to its captor.
The espeon would bite on Lucius' other foot, using the boost it had from its QUICK ATTACK together with the help of ninetales to finally rip and drag Lucius off of escavalier's lance and away from the scope of nidoking's EARTH POWER and STONE EDGE which barely missed the poor grunt's head. It, however, led to a great cost.
Lucius' left shoulder, being forcefully ripped off of escavalier's lance, tore up; his left arm barely hanging on a thread of what little flesh he had left on his left shoulder. The pain was too excruciating for him to even release a faint wail as his eyes would slowly roll back, he was on the verge of fainting. He, however, fought against it.
He didn't faint, he chose to savor every second of agony as he'd eye the trainer who caused this with his groggy vision. He knew very well who it was; Nikolai, the gym leader. His head would hit hard on the ground, his consciousness fades. With the job all done, both ninetales and espeon continued to drag Lucius off by his foot, away from the battlefield as fast as they could.
defeat from the battle was inevitable, much like their victory over the war.
tl;dr:
- hippowdon climbs his tunnel and faints outside.
- Lucius is sent flying with escavalier, pinning him on the ground, most of his back against the exterior wall. (they're outside bih)
- Lucius recalls both fainted hippowdon and recharging alolan ninetales.
- Lucius calls on ninetales just as escavalier rears its lance.
- QUICK ATTACK made it possible for ninetales to pull him off, tho the angle was off so escavalier still had the chance to stab its lance.
- Lucius got stabbed on his left shoulder. Now he's pinned on the ground with escavalier's lance, ninetales can't drag him no more cuz he's stuck.
- Lucius sends out espeon using his good arm.
- espeon uses QUICK ATTACK just the same to drag on him by the other foot, teamwork with ninetales to rip him off of escavalier's lance.
- the STONE EDGE and EARTH POWER barely miss him as the two dogs drag him away as fast as they could.
- Lucius lost his left arm and they got the fuck outta there.
