Howl really didn’t like fire.

They could say a lot about themselves and how they’d naturally gravitated towards a Water-type starter and a whole bunch of psychological mumbo-jumbo bullshit but they just really did not like fire.

This one had taken a couple of buildings with it, and had smaller offshoots that were still burning as they spoke. To make matters worse, the Hoennian summer was unusually dry, and strong winds could kick up afterburners with nothing more than a dying spark and a breeze.

Sequera was out on her own, dousing leftover burns with hydro pump and assisting in clearing rubble and rebuilding. Meanwhile, Howl was running around with one Clamperl in hand (which said something about their strength, rushing around toiting a 120lb clam in their arms) followed by their ginormous Octillery, Ursula, who was carting around the second. If they saw anything in danger of sparking, either Ursula or Howl would hold the clam up, point, and shoot.
