Caspian sighed as a bright green 2014 mustang speed past his car. He looked down at his meter and saw that even he was going 10 above the speed limit. When howard slayte grasped Caspians chin and their lips brushed Caspian's blush deepened even further. Divinity gave out three hisses in the same pattern of santa's iconic "ho ho ho" laugh. He glared at her. [break][break]
Realizing the small bit of awkward silence between the two Caspian opened his mouth to make a slight bit of small talk. "So how has the party been for you so far?" [break][break] He casually grasped his white elephant gift, realizing he had yet to open it, and peered into the gift. [break][break]

As Caspian sipped his wine, his legs crossed, he eyed Madeline McKenna as she responded. Shrugging off her passive agressivness Caspian sighed and just sat there. One thing he'd found about rocket was that if you pushed anyones buttons too hard they'd get pissed off easily. "You can call me Cas if Doc is too formal. He mimicked her tone when he said Doc. When Mints Kiss cam started Caspian delighted in the oportunity to see the embarrassed, and the over ecstatic, individuals who got caught in the cam decide what to do when all eyes were on them. His delight ended when the spotlight was turned on him and howard slayte . A blush crept along his face and he attempted to casually put his elbow on his knee to hide said blush. He didn't ever really tell Mint he was gay but I guess a recruiter does their research no matter what.[break][break]

Caspians tongue clicked at her saying no to discipline. He didn't quite get peoples ideal on being "friends" with pokemon. While Divinity and Sky, his dratini and dragonair, had been close companions, they still were disciplined like the rest of his pokemon, taught to obey commands without question other wise they will receive consequences. [break][break]
"Here is the thing Andrea. We still have a semblance of free will and choice to rise against those laws. We can Fight for our own thoughts and actions. A pokemon is forced to allign themselves with the ideals of the one trainer they belong to. Because thats who provides them with the means of living. So unless released, pokemon are mor bound than humans. As for wild pokemon, then i can agree that they are just as free as humans maybe even more, but even then theoretically if you were a wild pokemon, you would have to avoid predator's in the wild, including humans, to remain free and safe." Caspian was enjoying this debate. It had been awhile since a stranger had struck up a debate of which both sides have valid reasons and standings. [break][break]
As he listened to her response he went about her pokemon, gathering the much needed samples, and humming Jingle Bells to himself while he listened. Normally he would be listening to music full blast as he did tests like these. But unfortunately with a guest here it might be considered rude. [break][break]

Finishing his cookies, Caspian stops as Divinity hisses. Letting him know there was a pokemon near. [break][break]
He crouched and watched as a smoliv jumps out of the bush with a red berry as bright as Rudolph's red nose. [break][break]
Lowering his hand to the ground he whispers to Divinity. “Go” [break][break]
Obeying him, Divinity slides down his arm and towards the smoliv quietly. As she got close her tail lashes out and attacks the Smoliv. [break][break]
Reacting quickly Caspian throws an empty poker all towards the pokemon. Watching closely as it shook side to side. [break][break]

Sighing caspian followed the worn trail along route 119. Sky, his dragonair, played in the sky, scaring flying birds and chasing them. His thirteen foot blue body shimmering in the sun. He didn't get to come out of his pokeball often due to the close compacted rooms of the Rocket Headquarters so Caspian couldn't help but let him indulge. [break][break]
Pulling a small ziplock bag out of the small hiking pack caspian had brought with them, he opened it and fished out the last remaining Chocolate Chip cookies. He'd snagged them from the kitchen. Not really caring who's they actually were. [break][break]
Treking further he heard a rustle in the under brush. Cautiously Caspian slowed down. But instead of some wild pokemon jumping out at him an 8 foot long slender body slid out of the underbrush, a small morsel of meat between its jaws before swallowing it and looking up at Caspian with the same magenta eyes he saw every day. [break][break]
"About time you came back. I was started to be worried." He held out an arm and Divinity, the same dratini, climbed up his arm and situated herself on his shoulders like always. "We've got a long day ahead of us. I hope you ate plenty." He stated as he gently pat her head. "A long day indeed."

Caspian scowls as Mint lists off things he'd thought the rich shits had buried. His scowl deepening even further when they mocked him. But at the threat made toward him his scowl vanished and an almost amused look passed over Caspian's face. [break][break]
"First of all. You," He gestured at Mints frame, "You don't look like you have the strength to break me 'like a twig'. Though I can hypothesis you have some pretty strong pokemon under your belt if you're such an acclaimed debt collector. Second of all, paycuts are about to happen when you move no matter what and currently I am not making enough to invest in my own hobbies with this job. So, i resolved to selling under the table. Third of all, seems like this dirt you have on me is only theoretical, so unless you planning on blackmailing me with my dealing drugs thing, of which you have no solid evidence. I doubt any of it will fall through. And fourth, by the sounds of your proposal. Are you really a debt collector?" His eyebrows raised. "And even if I were to except this offer I want to know more about this 'investment opportunity' you speak of."

As Caspian dodged the head of the pokemon he accidently knocked over a vial, clattering to the floor a strong peppermint smell wafted through the kitchen. He growled as he got back up after the thing had fallen asleep. "You really should discipline your pokemon more often behavior like that will get someone killed." Divinity hissed at the pokemon before slithering over to caspian to climb up his arm. [break][break]

He began to gather the samples of the shiny that he required while he responded to her inquiry. "Anyways, in a sense that is my end goal. To achieve a new form for humans that could amplify healing properties, our strength, constitution, intellegence, and even our physicality; would not only cure many diseases, but allow us to protect ourselves and not rely off these," he licked his lips attempting to find the right word for pokemon that would not offend his guest. "Beings, for protection." [break][break]

"May i ask why you wish to become a full on pokemon? From the way society works around them you'd be used as a mere farm animal should you acomplish your goal. Made to obey the orders or commands of whichever trainer you are with. Now as a hybrid you would still have your individuality, but I only theorize even then society might ostracize you from their social groups until hybrids become a common every day thing." Glancing up at Madeline McKenna and spotting the line of shots she placed out Caspian casually swiped one away and downed it in one fell swoop. The blue diamond chains on his glasses tinkling lightly with the movement. Crossing one leg over the other Cas looks back down at his notes yet still addresses the redhead. "Hello. Names Dr. EverGreen. Not having the best of nights?" he asked inquiring about the half-empty bottle she had brought over with her. [break][break]
As he listened to her response his Dratini slowly slid down his left arm, which was still holding his notebook open, and the tip of its tail moved to point at something on the pages. "Ah yes, thank you divinity, i would have missed that had you not pointed it out." He quickly scratched out a line and began writing a new one. Sighing his eyebrows furrowed as he scribbled out the new line as well. In frustration he placed the book back into a hidden pocket and looked longingly at the shot glass. Rolling his head he puts a finger up and smiles politely, "One moment. I will go get us a bottle of red." [break][break]
Doing so he approaches the table again this time with enough glasses for the table and a large bottle of red. "How has everyones party been going so far?" He inquired, wanting to make conversation and possibly get to know the people around him. [break][break]

Caspian watched as the onesie clad girl pulled out the pokeball and the Hydreigon promptly formed in the cleared space. His eyes scanned over its body as it moved around. [break][break]
"No, You will have to excuse my forwardness but from the little I know about you I do not take you as a scientist. Therefore I will take the samples as to avoid contaminating them with anything else." Caspian produced some gloves from a drawer he had navigated to in the kitchen. Pulling them tight he then proceeded to pull out a few capped dishes and a vial. As well at a needle. "If it really only trusts you tell it to stay calm and comfort it as I go about. I'll start with the not so painful samples such as skin samples, a few hair follicles, and some blood samples. The only thing I really can have you take is the saliva sample." He pulls out a large cotton q-tip and hands it as well as a dish to Andrea. [break][break]
"As for what my research is about; currently I am researching the differences between a shiny pokemon and a normal pokemon. I am also attempting to get my hands on one of those fruits the Hydreigon here ate as to study its possible affects if a human were to consume it. My end goal is to eventually figure out how to successfully integrate human and pokemon dna together. And the results I'm looking for will be something i will keep to myself. Throughout his whole rant he's been gathering dishes and tools, organizing his workspace to be efficient. A gleam in his eyes as he goes on about his research. [break][break]

Caspian casually opened the door, striding into the party with a confidence that he normally wouldn't have in large crowds like this. Especially when he was as late as he was. A mix up at the lab had kept him longer than he had wished and when he finally got done he really only had time to rush to his room and get dressed and grab his gift. He'd placed out his outfit before hand, a stark black suit with an open back and a plung neckline and some sleek black slacks which clung to his slim waist, accentuating all of his curves. For shoes, he'd stuck with his simple sleek black cap-toe oxford dress shoes, with a slight heel raise. Divinity, his 5 foot long dratini, lazily drapped across his shoulders and arms almost as if she were a living scarf.[break][break]
Scanning around the room he only spotted the few familiar faces he knew. Mint, who was managing the music and conversing with several people, and only a few others who seemed engaged in other activities. [break][break]
Not wanting to jump into some random conversation, Caspian adjusted his glasses and made his way over to the tree, his long braided hair swaying with each confident step as he made his way over. Placing the small paper bag with scented candles, his own custom made lotions, and body salts, on the ever growing pile of white elephant gifts, he then spotted the drinks and casually made his way over there. Taking his time to flow with the crowd and not barrel his way through. [break][break]
Finally arriving at the tea stand managed by Xiura Balfaltin Cas sat in an empty chair, producing some money after ordering himself a drink. There were people all around him. But he knew none of them. He'd always been a social person but didn't fare well in large crowds. Usually sticking with the occasional one or two people he knew. And since he was new to rocket, he knew very little of the individuals here.
"Oh well." He somewhat mumbled to himself. "Might as well use the time, and the cheap alcohol, to get some of those equations i need to finish, done. How about it Divinity? His dratini's head had turned towards him and he smiled. Lifting a hand to gently pat her head before reaching into an obscure pocket of his suit to produce a small book and pen. Beginning to scribble away at equations and drawing lines and sketches of his current research project.[break][break]

Caspian knows very little of the people attending so far. Of those he does know, he doesn't bother saying hello as they are currently engaged in conversation. Not wanting to interupt any strangers conversation he decides to stick to the bar and work on some equations for his last experiment. Though he wouldn't mind if someone engaged him in an interesting topic.

The exact words to discribe Caspians thoughts were "oh fuck" over and over again. He'd done everything he could to avoid the leagues attention and for all he knew the stranger standing in front of him could be one of their agents. If only the pharmacy had paid more, then he wouldn't have to sell the hospital level drugs to random individuals to pay for his rent. [break][break]
"Well first of all no. Opioids are pain meds I usually only give out with prescriptions." Caspian scowled, eyeing the rotom. "What do you mean, 'bigger problems'?" His eyes flickered left. He knew what the stranger might be referencing. But news of those events was smother but the corrupted corporation he had worked for. There was no way people in Hoenn would have known, or heard, about the event that transpired in Kanto. [break][break]
By now Divinity had made her way behind the rotom, posed to strike as soon as Caspian gave the signal. Her tongue flickered in and out of her mouth as her never blinking red eyes posed directly on the strangers pokemon. [break][break]
"Answer my questions." Caspian gritted his teeth. Worried about maybe an appending fight which would mean he'd most likely be fired and he'd have to move cities.[break][break]
