The next batch of shiny Pokemon had come into the Safari Zone for the month, and Himiko had made it her mission to see about gathering enough of her pittance of a monthly pay to afford a premium ticket to enter. So she stood, balls in hand, ready to strike at the many Pokemon waiting to be captured inside. As the gate closed behind her, the Rocket prepared herself for a monthly safari!

As the dust settled on the area within the chasm, Himiko cast her eyes out to the area around them. Nothing entirely worthwhile stood out, up until she found the source of the wind blowing some of the rocks out of the way. It hadn't elicited a visible reaction out of her, though her heart stopped at seeing somebody so young almost getting hurt because of her. She rushed over to the edge of where she was after cursing to herself. Clover could see the faintly visible head of the Kanton as she stuck out among the rubble.

"Are you alright?" She called out to Clover, cupping her hands over her mouth. "I didn't intend for that to harm you. Wait right there."

She looked over to see an angered Tropius wandering over after the rock slide, it's leaves raised in anger. The Zoroark let out a ghastly hiss and moved forward to glow a dark color, casting BITTER MALICE once again at the grass type. The attack had cast the Pokemon away from them, with Himiko throwing a Pokeball at the target. As it rocked back and forth, Himiko moved back to move over to the other person. Onna would return it if the capture was successful.

"What's somebody like you doing in a place like this? It's not safe for you here."

His response caused a small chuckle to escape her lips. "Anytime you're ready, sweetheart."

Eddie rushed close to her as she stood in place with her arms open in a perpendicular angle. Himiko boded her time until he was close enough to her that she sidestepped the attempt to grab her. During this movement, her nails stabbed into Eddie's arms and raked their way up to the shoulder blade. While they didn't cut with the severity of a blade, it left a series of claw marks against the man's arm. With the poison at work, she spun back around to come face to face with his Incineroar with its arm raised. She was struck backwards with the dust around them being kicked up with poisonous matter.

She coughed from the impact of the Pokemon's strike, glancing up towards Eddie and his party. "You've got some nerve, you overgrown hairball." Meanwhile, the Zoroark behind them both rushed over to retaliate against the Incineroar for attacking her trainer. The white vulpine rushed over to strike at the fire-type's back with a SHADOW CLAW.

The air around them soon dispersed with a floral scent, as the quiet Rocket who had helped Himiko had attempted to try and distill the poison in the air with his own pokemon's attacks. She pushed herself off of the ground and backed up closer to the Rocket forces behind her. "Want another go at me? It'll take more than a single dose that will make you drop dead, but I'll gladly turn you into a pin cushion and see what other side effects I can apply."

Himiko hadn't been expecting Lulu's answer after the pause. It had been a sobering thought to see that somebody may have been in a similar situation. Her expression didn't change at all. Just focused ever on the horizon for the Pokemon they had been searching for. The Salandit continued to dig through the snow while the hunt continued. A large figure came into the distance, one which caused the stoic woman to suddenly perk up.

A Copperajah, its normally orange coat a beautiful green color. She absolutely must add it to her team! "Wait." The Kanton smiled and hurried closer while her Salandit moved behind her. Once close enough to launch a surprise attack, she motioned for it to instigate the fight. Rouge skittered forward and launched a plume of flames at the Copperajah with FLAMETHROWER! The hot flames, while weak, still dealt considerable damage to the steel-type. The trade continued for a moment or so longer before the Salandit had came out the victor.

A pokeball was sent sailing towards the fallen Pokemon. Himiko's back was still to Lulu, though after a few minutes of silence, she relented.

"You want to know the worst part about it?" she asked hesitantly, her eyes briefly flickering to the other woman before going elsewhere. "I've tried to reach out to talk to them, ask how things are back home, but they never did respond back to me. I've been away for close to a year now, but nobody seems to care. Not even the people I used to supervise."

Maybe a small part of her felt hurt, though that bitterness was quickly swallowed up by a refusal to accept the circumstances of what landed her here. "But we're in the middle of a war, so it would make sense. They're probably overworked to the bone." She waved the thoughts off and trusted in the comfort of this conflict. Whenever this would be all said and done, then she'd hear back from them.

Lulu seemed open to her curiosity about her fields of research, and she wasn't lying. Himiko had wanted to branch out away from just being a meat shield for the more important people. While not exactly trained to be putting chemicals into beakers, she knew her way around some general lab rules. Lucky for her, Mrs. Flint appeared to have a wide range of things to step foot into.

"All of those options sound intriguing, but I'll take anything at this point. I've a hunger to learn and all the time in the world. My civilian cover is as a florist, but back home, I created my own poisons. It's a family tradition, my grandmother was quite the toxicologist herself. So I'm not just somebody coming into this with zero practical experience."

"You did mentions quite a few things that sound familiar. I'm assuming that you deal with those other worlds, the Wilds or whatever their name is, alongside different dimensions from dreams. I've heard about one of our own, ameena abadi, I believe. She dealt with them in the past, I'm pretty sure. Fascinating woman, isn't she?"

"Let me put in a way even you can understand: it's a members only club, and you're walking in with your shitty looking tourist trap shirt and a thirty dollar hair cut." Himiko stood before Eddie as he was trying to butt into the boss's business, the Kanton woman scowling at the muscular man. It this was going to be her little stand against a more powerful opponent, then she would put everything on the line. All for the chance at getting able to return to home. Ulysses gave her the blessing to fight Eddie, even giving her a pat on the back. The reassurance that she needed. "I'll give it my all for you, sir!"

She would get this done.

"Don't disappoint me, meathead. I'll make this a lesson worth remembering." Himiko teased, the Hisuan Zoroark lowering itself as its challenger would appear before it, a fearsome Incineroar with its eyes locked onto the ghastly beast. Onna let out a menacing hiss as the two began their attack on one another. The fire-type ran towards the Zoroark, with the Pokemon raised its arms to meet the Lariat head on with her own SHADOW CLAW. She raised her arms to meet the move head on, her claws catching the swing as the forces against one another. The resulting shockwave had caused both to clash with one another.

Out of the corner of her eye, Himiko caught sight of Eddie approaching her with ill intent. The woman moved her hands behind her head, fingers tucked behind the curtain of hair she wore. The Salandit tucked between her necks spat out a dribble of poison and quickly ran its toxic tongue across her nails, coating them in a visible violet color.

"You're not one to sit back during a Pokemon battle, a man after my own heart." Himiko waited for Eddie to approach her, ready for a fight if Eddie would want to give one. She hadn't been on the level of a black belt, but her time in Kanto did give her some self defense. "Unfortunately, you're about to pick a fight with somebody who dabbles in poisons. Are you sure you want to try physical combat? One poke and I'll have you choking on your vomit."

From afar, Himiko could catch sight of the lone Kabutops climbing up the side of the chasm nearby. Spotting a fossil pokemon in conditions such as these were fairly rare, and she had always found herself curious about archeology. So why not get started now? The woman turned to face the scaling Pokemon until it was on flat land, then threw out her Zoroark. The strange ghost let out a pleased growl as she scoffed.

"Onna, Shadow Orb the terrain above it." Onna brought both paws together, leaning behind her as she charged up a shadowy sphere between her limbs. It crackled with energy until fully ready to unleash, then shot at the rocks above the Kabutops. The resulting explosion had caused the beginnings of a landslide above it, causing rocks to rain down upon it. The force of the landfall was enough to have its grip slip and tumble down the side of the mountain. Himniko threw out a pokeball at her quarry, then walked over with a vaguely interested expression.

"Minimal effort, as always."

"Of course. I had a feeling..."

Her history, why did it always come back to her greatest failure? Himiko's expression remained neutral, honed in on Lulu as she stood in place. She was livid, clenching her teeth in a retained fury while keeping herself held back only by the happenstance that it was a superior here with her. The Kanto native said nothing for a moment, then exhaled, facing away from Lulu. The chance to prove herself was appreciated, one which she couldn't think about at the moment.

"I'm not ashamed of it." she lied through her grit teeth. "Everyone makes mistakes. I'll get back home soon enough." Maybe it was just the blind fury in her system that caused her to look at the nearby Perrserker wandering about. She whistled to wake the Salandit from her sleep. A masked head popped out of her neckline and scurried back onto the ground in the direction of the steel-type. She watched while Rouge scuffled with the wild Pokemon. She was quiet, then groaned to herself.

"We'll find that Varoom." Himiko asked, crossing her arms while the Salandit used FLAMETHROWER on the Perrserker. The intensity of the heat melted the ice around it until the snow fall began to dot the barren landscape once more. "Simple enough. Even if I have to turn this place into a desert." The Perrserker was sent flying back, followed by one of her Pokeballs being thrown through the air and crashing down upon him. Himiko awaited to see if she would catch it before looking back to Lulu.

"What kind of research do you do in your work? I've been thinking of applying for other departments."

By one single step, Himiko felt the incoming rush of a boulder speeding towards her. Her arms reached up to shield herself, only for something solid to clutch onto her. A hand, though whose was unknown to her. Their fingers coiled around the wrist and pulled her back from the rock face that had been speeding towards her The Kanton breathed a sigh of relief and gave a nod to the blonde that had saved her. "Thanks. We should-"

He left without a single word, silent as the rest of the trees in the area. "Ugh, rude." she muttered to herself, though the voice of the Kanto Rocket Boss had come in the direction that he was facing. She considered her options for a while, then quickly hurried over in the same direction of the man. "It's dangerous here." she put simply once catching up with Hawkins. "I'll stick by you for a while. Just to ensure each other's survival."

The two of them continued along, while Himiko's arm went to provide cover for her Salandit. She had a lifeline that was the man currently in front of her, and deviating from that was a wonderful way to get crushed by more debris or wandering astray. Right now, the only thing that mattered to her was the man with the power. She just had to get to him, and with any luck, this mute man was going to lead her there.

Once present, Himiko's eyes lit up at seeing Ulysses in the flesh. Just as before tons of battered League officials stood at his feet, with a small force behind him. The woman stood at attention with a smirk present on her face. "Boss, sir! Nice to see you're excelling as usual, sir!" Her eyes went to the woman across from him. Was this woman trying to stand up to him? But then her attention went to the lummox currently launching an attack at the ground, quickly defended against thanks to the PROTECT by them.

Her eyes narrowed at the bold man in front of them, "You small brained ape, we're having a family moment here." Her hands reached her a pokeball and called out her Hisuan Zoroark, the pokemon letting out a ghastly hiss. The mane behind her glowed a deep lavender as it cast BITTER MALICE at Eddie and his Terrakion. "Please, Boss, sir." Himiko faced him with the look of somebody addressing a superior. "Allow me to handle this hotheaded gorilla. You shouldn't dirty yourself facing such a lowlife."

"So this is the so called "Great Chasm", hm?" Himiko stood above a hill within the Ice Lands. It wasn't really any kind of scenic overview or whatever, but the Rocket rolled her eyes ago and went to go explore around some in search of Pokemon to train. "Just a giant bowl of rocks and boredom." The woman huffed and continued about over the boundary into the area, with her Hisuan Zoroark trudging through the snow.

Some time roaming around in vague interest later, she sat on a rock overlooking a good portion of center of the chasm. Little specks of color moved all around in the horizon, pokemon wandering around either in search of food, battling others, or remaining still as they had likely been snoozing or resting to conserve their strength. The perfect makings of a nice little hunt here. Maybe she would get lucky and find a shiny of her own here. "Let's go, Onna."

The Zoroark let out a hiss and followed her trainer through the landscape while she began her journey.
